Luis installed the Wolf 36" gas cooktop at my place. This was the Wolf CG365C/S contemporary cooktop that is different than the regular "drop-in" models. We needed to cut about 3/4" of our granite countertop, and then drill the holes in the front for the knobs. This was a tricky job. Luis did this professionally. Best, he was very careful about dust and noise with granite cutting, and ensured that the kitchen was well covered and cleaned during and after the job. I've learned a difficult lesson - buying high end appliances does not equate to high end installs. I was left with a disaster of an install of hood, range, two refrigerators and dishwasher. All required subsequent visits to correct the "manufacturers' certified" installers mistakes - over 20 additional service calls. Even Miele would not help me with the bad "manufacturer certified" install gone wrong (took 6 months for me to resolve myself). In my case, the original installers disappeared once they got their install fees and never came back. If you speak to Luis, you will realize he stands by is work, is proud of is work and will come back to help you wit any future issues you have. Luis came over to give an estimate and was on time and gave an incredible price given the amount of modifications that would be necessary to my cabinetry in order for the stove top to work. Although he had initially thought the work would take about two hours, it took almost 4 and he and his partner honored the original price. I needed a new induction stove installed before Thanksgiving. The appliance delivery service didn't bring necessary part and weren't available. J&L installs jumped in and did a fantastic job, probably better than the original place would have done. They were careful with each detail, including making sure the feet were all at the correct height so everything was level, placing the stove on cardboard so it would not scratch the floor, modifying a part that was slightly bent to make sure it did the job right. He seemed extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and was methodical and willing to take a little extra time to do the job right. Was also friendly and generous with advice.
