Be very very careful of this place. They sold me an electric oven and the wiring inside the appliance wasn't correct. It ended up destroying the electrical breaker at the panel in the unit and the electrical breaker at the main. My electrical bill is in the now 438.99$ and I had to pay another company to repair it. Since it was just barely out of warranty but never used they are refusing to cover the cost of this. Now I have to take them to Small Claims court and sue them even though I was a long time customer of their business. Whatever they are doing to inspect their appliances before selling them is not thorough. They could have burned down my building. I was skeptical about purchasing my washer/dryer set here because of the reviews, but it was one of the few affordable locations open at the start of the pandemic. I waited a few months to write this review. I've had my machines for about three months now, and they are working great. I use them consistently and all the features work. They had a few scratches upon purchase, but I was aware of the small dings. We were told that the machines would be cleaned before delivery, but our machines were filled with hair and old gum.The strangest part is, I don't remember seeing those things inside of the machine when purchasing it in the store. Keep in mind, the warranty is only for them to provide you with parts. They do not provide you with a repair service, and it's for about eight weeks only. $600 for both machines, plus free delivery and free hook up included with parts is not bad at all. We bought a stove and a fridge for a tenant. Both were delivered INOP. They did come out and fix them. The stove stayed fixed, the fridge not so much. Freezer works, fridge section doesn't. I nagged them for a week to fix it, no joy. In the store, their appliances are dirty. The salesman said "we clean them when we sell them". Bad sign. Well, they at least did come out to try to fix them. But at the end of the day, I have an INOP fridge, and I had to call an appliance repairman. read more

I reached out to Marroquin Used Appliances because I wanted to sell a brand new slide-in stove. I purchased the incorrect one and was no longer able to return to Lowe's so I wanted to cut my losses and sell locally. The owner provided me with the phone number of one of his employees so I texted them the information, model number, etc.... The employee asked me how much I would like to sell it for and I gave him a number close to what I paid. (I understand that this is a business that runs on profit & I know I was not going to get my asking price) Instead of respectfully declining and/or attempting to counter my offer, the employee proceeds to insult me saying that I am "crazy" for the price I was asking. I imediately told him I was no longer interested. You don't go out insulting a potential client just beause you do not like their price. That is how you lose clients and build a bad reputation. Definitely do not purchase from here! We recently purchased a washer and dryer from here and the washer was disgusting. It had dirt and grime. It's the first time we needed to wash a washer before washing our clothes. Also the installers had to come out multiple times just to figure out how to install the vent (and it still wasn't done right). Needless to say, I'd recommend going someplace else. read more

I've been in the market for a replacement gas range for over a year. After researching several sellers I noticed option was either overpriced, damaged, or lacked the features I needed. I wanted a unicorn: A high end gas range with 15,000+ BTU for no more than $1,000. It seemed impossible until I came here and met Edgar. The customer service rep/salesperson, Edgar was very professional and thorough. He was so patient with my indecisiveness. Eventually, I was sold on a commercial Wolf gas range. On the day of delivery, it was running behind but Edgar made sure to keep me updated. He was patient very communicative. After delivery of my range, it needed some technical adjustments. Edgar scheduled a technician to return ASAP and was really responsive throughout the process. The technicians Miguel and Luis were outstanding! Bought a washing machine from this shop and there were missing parts and the door locking mechanism was faulty. Took them weeks to get someone to come out for a repair job, which was supposed to cost $80 including parts... once the repair was finished, they charged me $100 instead and claimed that only the repairman decides the price. If that is the case, why even mention $80? TL;DR - FAULTY MACHINES, WORKERS NOT PUNCTUAL, DOESN'T HONOR PRICES. read more

If you buy from this place, leave that day with your merchandise or else you may be waiting for them to deliver. They rarely deliver when they say they will and they do not return call backs. I bought a washer a year ago. I waited 4 days for them to deliver when they said it will be 2 as we bought it on a Friday night. I called them the same day that they delivered which was a Tuesday to inform them that the washer flooded my garage. It took them another 2 days to send someone to come and take tape off of the water pump. Fast forward not even a year and the washer breaks down again. I called on Saturday about 1. The gentleman told me that he will call me on Sunday to setup a time for Monday. I called Monday for another guy to tell me that there is no note of my call. He took my info and asked what the problem was and then said "Stay by the phone I'll call you right back with a time". Well, Tuesday comes and I called Jeb appliances who diagnosed my problem, gave me a price and sent someone to fix my washer. CALL JEB APPLIANCES!!!! I purchased a nice used refrigerator from Marroquin at a great price a few years back and they delivered and installed it (down a big flight of stairs) quickly and on time. It was making a noise that didn't sound right, so they came back a couple of times to try and fix it unsuccessfully and ended up replacing it with an almost identical one at no charge. I used that refrigerator for my catering business, loading and unloading heavy trays of food and it worked perfectly for many years and when I had to sell it because I was moving into a smaller place, I was able to sell it for the same price that I paid for it! Initially, I had a good experience. I went in, bought a gas stove at a reasonable price and had it delivered. Easy peasy. They showed up when they said they would and the stove still works great. If the story ended here, they would have gotten 4 stars. But the story continues. I went back to get a newer washer and dryer when our dryer decided to stop drying. In store everything went smoothly. I picked out an affordable washer and dryer set and scheduled the delivery and installation. Delivery day comes around and I'm home during the three-hour window we had agreed upon. No one shows up. I was able to get Edgar on the phone and he was super apologetic and rescheduled for the next day. The next day they showed up when they said they would and installed everything promptly. Fast forward a couple weeks and I realize that there's a small leak in the washer as evidenced by the small trickle of water coming out the bottom. Luckily they have a 60-day warranty, so I call them up and let them know the situation. They set up a time to have someone come over and fix the washer in my home. Three missed appointments and a total of seven hours of waiting at home later... I'm pretty frustrated at this point. So I go in person and talk with them. Turns out the owner was away on holiday, but they had gotten in touch with him and he said "Give her a new washer. Whatever one she wants!" Which, to be honest, seemed like a reasonable solution at this point. I was done waiting for a repair person that just never shows. So I picked out a new washer, scheduled a delivery and they actually showed up at the appointed time. Sucess! The washer was installed and has been working ever since. To their credit, throughout the whole process Edgar was very responsive via phone and very apologetic. And the owners' decision to completely replace the washer, after all the missed appointments, was a good attempt to keep me happy. It was all just a little too late, as I can't see myself going back there again - just too much trouble. read more

Picked up a top load washer from here after looking at pricing of new ones at Home Depot and Sear. Sears had a 20% off appliance because they are closing. I couldn't justify paying almost $500. The parking lot is small and the building is very run down. However, we were greeted right away and had great service. We paid $175 and hauled it home ourselves since other reviews said they had issues. We just finished our first load of laundry; the washer machine works perfectly. So much quieter than our old one. I was looking for a fridge on Craigslist and found a me that they had posted. I called and they sent me the dimensions right away. It didn't fit but he recommended a similar one that would. I bought it unseen and they delivered it the next day. Delivery was free the fridge looked like it was right out of the box and I paid a quarter of the price of a new one. Bought a used LG washer and dryer for an unbeatable price. Had some issues with it and was passed my warranty period but the boss was kind enough to allow me to exchange for a different set. Still LG stackable front loading washer and dryer combo. New set works great. No complaints! And for the price you can't beat it. Technicians that came to service our unit worked very clean and were super friendly. Almost forgot to mention Jose the manager. Very friendly guy who went out of his way to make things right for me. Hey Im the first review! Needed a combo washer dryer for our place and found one here. Came on a rainy day, most of their inventory out back was getting wet but found one that was suitable inside. The lady that was working and cleaning appliances was very nice and helpful. So we paid and scheduled a day for delivery, they didnt arrive at the scheduled time but glad they still made it. They brought in new washer and took out old one no problem. Hooked up new one and dryer wasnt getting hot. They take back to test in their warehouse, works! Come to find out my electrical box was wired wrong, fixed! They deliver again no charge, install and all is well. Nice and helpful people. Theyre not very good about returning calls or sticking to schedules but they'll come thru eventually! Lol! Just have faith! read more
