May 26,2026 Hey! I guess I've been buying from Grace Ho for 3 years now! My most recent purchase was this past Memorial Day. She knows me by now and it's always easy dealing with her. But what happens when things go wrong? I bought an LG washer/dryer set and the washer had a crazy vibration that just seemed wrong. We hadn't had a new washing machine in a really long time, so we weren't entirely sure if this is how it was supposed to be. I contacted them (airport appliance at the time) and they asked me to send a video. After looking at the video, they confirmed that it wasn't right and arranged a pick up and delivery of a replacement in a few days. The new machine worked and continues to work great. I purchased an LG washer and dryer from Homewise Appliance and was initially helped by Amber Perez. She was friendly during the sale, helped us with the purchase, delivery, haul-away, and told us to call her if we had any issues. Unfortunately, the customer service completely changed after the sale. On delivery day, the driver discovered one of our washer shutoff valves was missing a handle. He contacted Homewise Appliance's delivery representative, Apogee, who explained that, under their policy, they could not install the units until it was fixed. That's understandable. What isn't understandable is that we paid for installation and materials, yet no one explained this requirement beforehand. Had we known, we would have fixed it before delivery. While the driver was there, my son was calling Amber for help. I asked Apogee if we could speak with her, but she told us Amber had the day off and that it was pointless to contact her. We still called the store repeatedly, but no one answered, and we texted Amber directly with no response. We fixed the valve that same evening and immediately notified Apogee that the issue had been resolved, but she never replied or helped us move the process forward. TODAY I tried to reschedule delivery and was bounced between the delivery company, Homewise Appliance's 833 customer service number, and the store. Every person told me to call someone else. When I finally reached the store, I was told I had to pay a second delivery fee because I "wasn't prepared." Instead of taking responsibility for never explaining their installation requirements, they blamed the customer. The most frustrating part was learning that Amber had actually been at the store the day of the failed delivery. We were told she had the day off, yet she was there while we were calling and texting for help. Not only did no one communicate honestly with us, but neither Amber nor Apogee ever had the courtesy to return a phone call or text, even after we fixed the issue. That level of communication is unacceptable. When I went into the store, Amber ignored me until I asked to speak with an assistant manager. The assistant manager genuinely tried to help, but Amber immediately stepped in with an attitude, saying there was "nothing we can do" except charge another delivery fee. At that point, I requested a refund. She also said she would email my receipt, which I never received. The sale was easy. Everything after that was a disaster. Homewise Appliance failed to explain its own policies, its employees gave us conflicting information, we were bounced between multiple departments, our calls and texts were ignored, and then we were blamed and asked to pay another delivery fee. I even took a day off work for this delivery, only to waste my time because of their poor communication and lack of accountability. I will never do business with Homewise Appliance again and cannot recommend them. read more

We happened to encounter Andy Lu during our visit, who was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable in appliances as well as the current and future promotions to take advantage of. We didn't end up buying that day, as we had additional research we wanted to do. In the following weeks, we reached out to him again and he patiently answered all our questions in person, through email, and over the phone. My mother and I came to Homewise Appliance in search for a fridge to replace our existing one. We kind of already knew what we were looking for but needed an expert to guide us. There, we met Andy. Firstly he thanked us for coming in and asked what we were looking for. There we said a fridge and ideally one that has two vertical doors. He showed us an LG that had a clear window on the right side and both my mother and I really liked the way it looked. From there he answered any/every question we had about the fridge, we compared the amount of space vs our existing fridge. Something to note about my mother is that she's always looking for the best deal, whereas I prefer a one stop shop. Andy made sure we had both, he brought up every single retailer you could imagine in front of us to make sure we're getting the absolute best deal. Great prices, however they're installation team needs additional training and thicker skin. I'm not going to go into any details other than state unless they use another installation service, I won't be using airport Appliance / Homewise Appliance anytime soon. Very sad to waste an entire day (Day off from work) to wait for an installation team that comes 1+ hrs past their delivery window, then find out that they refused to do a dishwasher installation for us (obviously we paid for install and haul away). Misunderstanding on the installers part, but they left before management could clear things up. Hopefully we have better luck with Lowes. read more

We have been going to Airport, now Homewise, since 1997. We still have the first fridge we bought from them in the garage. This time, I was need of a wall oven to replace our 20 something year old oven. The first time I went there, just to browse, no one, I repeat, no one, spoke to me. No one said hello at all. There was an Asian woman at the front who completely ignored me. No problem. I left not too long after, since I didn't have much time anyway. I went back another day and was immediately greeted by Benny. I told him what I was looking for and he helped me decide what to get. He told me it was a special order, since it's really small and they didn't have it in stock. I told him I didn't mind waiting. I told him my experience when I went there and we chuckled a bit about it. I told him I was very happy he acknowledged me and helped me. I also told him that I didn't want anyone else to help me, especially that woman. He even toured me around the refrigerator section, since I told him I would be needing one next. He was very honest in his recommendations, and I surely and truly appreciate that. These aren't easy decisions to make, after all. My oven was finally delivered and Benny updated me as to its progress in the delivery phase as well. I'm very pleased with it. It's still a learning process for us because it has a lot of bells and whistles, but I'm happy that it fit my tiny space. Thank you, Benny!
