It was incredibly easy to schedule the appointment and make a last minute change due to my schedule. From start to finish, this was the simplest and most straight forward experience I have ever had with any service I've needed for my car. Connor was professional and friendly. I watched the service on my car from a big window. The mechanics worked quickly and carefully. They found a screw in my tire and repaired it in less than 15 minutes. At NO charge! I took my truck in for a rotation and 40 dollar balance. Received my truck back, and there was no indication that they balanced anything. All tires had the same weights on them as when I dropped it off after 10,000 miles. I can't say they didn't balance, I sat at the window that faces the shop my truck was in the second bay and didn't see anyone balance anything. I have never had a set of tires in my life that didn't need rebalanng after 10,000 miles. Also, the drivers side front tire was still on the front as if never touched. The rear tire from the riders side was on the rear driver's side. I can not recommend this shop. I was hoping I had found a trustworthy tire shop. Now I'm going to find another shop to check balance on the tires. I will update you when I get their results. read more

I've always been a Costco Tire guy, but they didn't have the tires I wanted. After I found them at Discount Tires, I bought a set and scheduled installation. They called me the day before to tell me that my tires hadn't arrived, so we rescheduled. They called to let me know when the tires ad arrived, and again the day before my appointment to make sure I remembered. Then on my way to my appointment, they called to tell me that there was a sign on a bay with my name on it, and that they would meet me at the sign. Thanks to the city of Norfolk I ran over a man hole that was not seated properly. So I was able to get my first taste with a tire shop lol I was immediately greeted by Cody he assessed my vehicle and gave me my options. Cody took my vehicle in as soon as he could because he saw that I had my child with me. A tech then gave me a play to play update on my Durango and I was in and out in under an hour. I bought the warranty on my tires that fixes flats. They scanned my tires and made an appt for an hour later to get my flat repaired. After waiting an hour a different guy comes out and says he won't fix it because he thinks I need new tires. An hour ago, my tires were scanned and deemed within the acceptable range and he recommended I get them replaced when I lose more tread. This location will scam you blind. Been here two times now, once for a Allen wrench in my tire and another time to get a set of new tires. Both times I was in and out within 30 min or less. Both times they were on top of everything w great service and great work. When I brought my tire in I had no clue they would patch the tire for free, I was absolutely stunned and beyond happy to find out after they had fixed and put the tire back on that everything was free of charge to me. Not a car person, nor do I seriously know anything about cars usually that's my man's expertise as he usually takes care of everything car related for our family, however had to work the day I needed to get it fixed. The day I came to get my new set of tires they were very helpful and honestly took care of me much better than I initially assumed any car place would. I own a landscaping and lawn management company. One of my crews had a tire blowout on 264 near this place. We didn't have a spare and they were literally stranded on the side of the interstate. I came and removed the tire, and went to nearby equipment place to purchase a new tire. I then went to three tire places to simply pay to have the new rubber put on the old rim and was turned away. I then walked into discount. I was frazzled, aggravated and worried about my crew on the side of the interstate. I came to discount tire today because I found a nail in the tread of my tire, this nail was discovered in the "repairable" section of the tire. When I got there the first thing the associate used to do was up sell me on some brand new tires rather than trying to help me, then after about 45 minutes of them wasting my time they came back to me and told me they couldn't repair the tire and that I had to buy a used set. Upon me paying for the used set I discovered that their was a hole in one of the tires. Basically they sold me faulty tires just to make a sale. These people have no interest in helping you but rather just an interest on filling their pockets. I would never recommend to anyone to come to this discount tire location. read more

I have been using discount tire for a long time and was happy to see one nearby. The appointment process was quick and easy. My navigation took me through the parking lots to get there and I was late but the person I spoke to on the phone was super patient and navigated me to the location. As a woman, it is really hard to know whether or not someone is just trying to sell you on stuff to make their commission. I worked with Victor and he was so friendly and really transparent with what he was selling me and did not come off as the typically car mechanic sort of guy. Juan was great at walking me through what was done to my car after and the process took less than an hour. I will definitely be coming back to this location.
