I asked for an estimate of a new tire and wheel; they quoted me for a tire and they said they would find a wheel laying around and would throw that in for free. The tire was more expensive than I could have gotten on my own but thought it was convenient if they threw in the wheel and did the work to replace it. They ordered the tire, called me to let me know it came in, and also informed me that they do not have a wheel laying around. I was told to "search online for one." I find it weird that an offroad shop that mentions tire work would not help me find a new/used wheel. They just put the tire in the back of my car and that was it. I could have bought the tire myself and for a little cheaper; I wanted to go to them to help find a wheel and install the tire and wheel. I do not think I have ever been told by a shop that I was essentially on my own for finding parts. Maybe there was miscommunication somewhere, but I still find the whole interaction weird and bizarre that an auto shop won't help me find parts. If you need a single replacement wheel, you're out of luck--they force you to buy an entire new set. They also don't carry replacement center caps. When you try to call them to sort out an issue, they give you grief and will literally hang up the phone on you. This has happened to us several times now. Buyer beware. I cannot recommend doing business with Tire House. We regularly order wheel sets from them to sell at our shop, and every time we need help with a customer's order, it turns into a headache. Their customer service is terrible. They absolutely refuse to sell single replacement wheels--insisting we buy a full set of four instead--and they don't even carry replacement center caps for their own products. The absolute worst part is the attitude. We've had their staff hang up the phone on us when we were simply trying to resolve an issue. This hasn't just happened once; it's a recurring problem. My wife and daughter was looking for a place to get my daughter's car tire looked at because she had a slow leak in her rear driver side tire. So they found this place and my wife asked me to go with our daughter so the possibility of her getting swindled was little to none with me accompanying her here!. When I arrived ( my daughter got here before me ) she said they told her to park on the side so they could look at it, the gentleman looked at the tire size and asked us to follow him and showed us a used tire then asked what the issue was and then proceeded to investigate the leak in the tire. After further inspection he found out it was a piece of sharp bent up metal lodged into her tire that was causing the slow air leakage. The gentleman immediately said he could fix it which was a major plus because her tires were basically new and had a a lot of tread on them! After he pulled the metal out and plugged the hole it was as good as new and he stated it would last the full length of the tire life. I will say this was a quick and convenient transition by this gentleman, he was polite the whole way through and also asked how my daughter and I was doing today when we first arrived!. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but his professionalism was through the roof during this short transaction of getting my daughter's tire plugged up! They also let us know they had free air ( which is hard to find anywhere nowadays )! Other than Wawa I don't know anywhere else that offers free air anymore. Paying for air is preposterous but that another topic for another review on another day! I would definitely return and I'm sure my daughter will too. I would also recommend anyone in the area to give them your business if you're in the need of tire repair, they're reasonable and professional, knowledgeable and conveniently located with two different locations! Why they would give me a tire with a nail in it, I don't understand. So they patched it - or something - and now I'm on the side of the road with a flat tire. I'm definitely going to get my money back and never buy tires from them again. They don't care what you drive off with or if you die in a car accident because of their tires.
