Where do I even begin?…read more I took my car to the Firestone location in Kyle, TX, because it had an oil leak. After paying more than $1,700, I left believing the problem had been fixed. Not long afterward, my son kept asking me why I hadn't had the oil leak repaired. I repeatedly told him that I had--that was the entire reason I took the car to Firestone in the first place. He insisted the leak was still there. Because of my busy schedule and frequent travel, I wasn't able to return right away. Once I got back, I called the store and was told to bring the car in so they could inspect it. After looking at it, I was informed that the problem involved a gasket that had previously been replaced. Since it was under warranty, they said they would replace it at no charge. When I picked up my vehicle, an employee then told me the leak might actually be coming from behind the transmission--a repair that would cost a significant amount of money. To make matters worse, I was told that no one at that location could perform the repair, and the only technician who might have been able to help had already left for the day. At that point, I was beyond frustrated. I took my keys and left. I then took my car to another mechanic. His first question was, "What exactly did you pay Firestone for?" He was shocked when I told him I had spent over $1,700, especially since the original oil leak had clearly not been properly diagnosed or repaired. Since then, I've repeatedly tried to resolve this issue. I've called the local store and have gotten nothing but the runaround. I've contacted Firestone's corporate office four separate times and was repeatedly told that the regional manager would call me back. I'm still waiting. Today, I called again and was told the matter would now be escalated to divisional leadership. Firestone, enough is enough. I paid over $1,700 expecting my vehicle to be repaired, yet the original issue was never properly resolved. I've been patient, I've followed your process, and I've made every effort to work with your team. Now I expect accountability and a prompt resolution to this matter.

VERY dishonest people!…read more I got an oil change here just a couple of months ago, and this week my SUV started making a grinding noise and the oil light came on. I was 500 miles BELOW the level that was on my sticker indicating it was time for an oil change, and one MONTH before the date. Like a fool, I went back to the same place, thinking they could tell me what happened. They told me nothing was wrong and that maybe my vehicle just uses oil faster because it's older. When I got suspicious is when they said they could just top off the oil, but they'd had to charge me for it. Ah! Now I get it! They didn't fully fill the oil last time, which is why I was in need of additional oil WAY earlier than should have been necessary. In addition to this, the wait was over an hour...in the middle of the day...on a weekday. The only reason people are paying premium prices here is for FAST service. If it's not going to be fast, then what is the point?

I'm not much of a car guru, but I did know I was extremely over priced. So I started looking for another mechanic to take it too, and was referred to Reyes Auto. Fast forward to today, wake up to find my car will not start at all. I called Daniel at Reyes and he immediately came to my house, jumped my car, AND drove it to the shop. Got it checked out and quoted me $1500 LESS than what Toyota did. Not only was Daniel, and his staff, extremely helpful, they got my car done immediately and communicated with me throughout the whole process. Thank you so much Reyes Auto for your work! I didnt get a good look at the paint job when I first got my car back but when I did manage to throughly inspect it, I noticed some things w the paint. there is debris underneath the paint in some areas, there's a couple of spots where primer is showing w no paint , majority of the parts and panels that were repaired, the paint looks kind of hazy like the paint wasn't applied evenly.
