    The "apology"

    I left a review on Google that isn't showing up anymore, so I'm leaving my review here where I know it can't be deleted. ZERO STAR REVIEW I took my vehicle in on Monday (July 24, 2023) for what I thought would be an alignment. I get a call a couple of hours later and the employee (an older gentleman) on the phone told me my car was ready. He said it wasn't actually an alignment that was needed, but that they rotated my tires because it was the tires that was making my car pull. Okay, cool, I'll come get my car. I arrive about 20 min after I was called. When I get there, I pay and am waiting to receive my keys, only to find out that the employee working on my car LEFT THE SHOP TO GO HOME WITH MY PERSONAL KEYS IN HIS POCKET. The older gentleman employee said that this is actually the third time this other employee has done this. So now, not only do I have to WAIT for the employee to get back with MY keys, but now I'm afraid that he took himself on over to Lowes (which is right behind the store) to copy my keys. They have my address and now possibly a copy of my house keys and car keys. I am PETRIFIED, to say the least. Fast forward to today (three days later, 4pm Thurs July 27, 2023), I get back from being gone and notice that my back hubcaps are missing. I called the store again to ask if they were there and was told I would have to bring my vehicle in so they could look at it and verify. Okay fine, so I immediately go up to the store. When it's my turn in line, the employee went out and looked at my car, did a short walk around the shop and then got on the computer to look at my service history. He then proceeded to tell me that they did an alignment on the car and I said "no, they told me I didn't need an alignment and just switched the tires around" and he said "well I'm not showing any sign of that in the computer. I see here your vehicle was in a wreck recently?" and again I said "no, I've never been in a wreck" and he said "it says here there was a wreck involving a manhole" and I said "I went over a bump, I didn't get into a wreck" and he said "but you've had work done on the car recently?" and I said "I had my transmission replaced in November?" (Like what does this have to do with anything???) and he just blankly stared at me before telling me, again, that they didn't rotate my wheels therefore he can't help me and whomever told me that they rotated my wheels must have been mistaken with someone else's vehicle. Like, really? Would I have been treated this way if I was a man? Because the man in front of me in line got all smiles and pleasant conversation when he was being helped. ‍ Completely unprofessional service. Combative and condescending with customers. No apologies whatsoever for anything. Do better, Firestone. Update: This morning (July 28, 2023) I received a voicemail from the employee whom I interacted with yesterday. I am including a screenshot of this so-called "apology." While I can visually see the word apology in his text, all I'm reading is excuses for his inappropriate behavior and an actual confirmation of him admitting that he showed prejudice against me and was insinuating that I was a liar. I don't know if it's my green hair, my single-mom vibes, or my super dirty outdated minivan, but I didn't deserve to be treated that way, especially in front of other customers. And as far as blaming your staff for y'all's miscommunication, I didn't see you once confer with anyone else in the shop about my situation. So, I'll say it again: DO BETTER. Making excuses for you, your staff, your miscommunication, your unprofessionalism, your lack of empathy, your tone of voice, and the words you say to customers doesn't make up for treating another human being that way.

    I made an appointment online for tire rotation and it was confirmed. After standing in line for 20 minutes to get waited on the the man at the counter rudely tells me there is no way I had an appointment when the techs do not arrive until 9. Why are they sending confirmation emails of appointment time no tech is even there?

    Terrible manager and customer service. They were extremely unhelpful and rude. I would not recommend this location

I took the most affordable quote from Kyle Automotive Service Center. I was pleased when the shop called 4 hours later to tell me it was fixed. I picked up my Toyota and was surprised to find out it was cheaper than he originally quoted me because he got the job done sooner than expected. I was also excited to find out that the shop replaced the clutch, timing belt, and oil all under the original $990 quote. He commented that he knew I was leaving town for the holidays and wanted me safe on the road. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care I received from this shop.     Great and HONEST service. Took my truck in for a blown spark plug. I'm new to the Kyle area and…read moreneeded a repair shop. I have FOUND IT in Kyle Automotive. Brian is the owner and great to work with. They could have said they had to remove the head and tap out the plug hold, But they did not and instead used a less expensive repair, which is working great. Great price for the repair. I appreciate the HONEST work and friendly staff. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. Thank you. And thank the Lord for leading me to this shop. 5 Stars from me.
