DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE, BIKE, SCOOTER OR ANYTHING ELSE TO GOODYEAR!!!! I have taken my car and dropped it off 5 times to this shop and 2 times stopped by en route to my appointment to ensure it was safe to drive!!! I am so frustrated, mad and irritated that I spent almost $1500 for repairs and then I have to be inconvenienced multiple times , rearranging my weekly doctors appointments as I am handicap to leave the car with them for 3-5 DAYS at a time!!!! I have dealt with URI, Jerry and Steve as well as Bruce and Amy at corporate!!! If you can't afford to be without your car for days and or don't want to see the shop every other day to take the car back for the SAME ISSUE I WOULD HIGHLY advise going SOMEWHERE ELSE!! They claim to work with other experienced technicians through the computer and also had a " Highly Experienced Technician " come from Bee Caves location, however My check Engine light is STILL ON!!! This is absolutely absurd! I reached out to corporate a week and a half ago and no response!!!! Again find somewhere else reputable, knowledgeable , honest, trustworthy and reliable!!!! This place charged me 260 just to install and balance tires. Lie #1 they told cost included life time balance so I said OK. A week later I went back and they told me they don't do life time balance, but they would re-balance tires because they were vibrating. It was on a Sunday Dec 21, they took my truck and I waited for 40 minutes they come back and said all balanced out, lie#2. Left and still had vibration. My wheels are black and were very dust. I looked at wheels and so signs of finger prints that wheels were taken off, they didn't do anything just lied to my face. Called to confront and they still lied and said they took one off and it balance so all are good. These guys must think we're idiots. Since they kept with their lies I asked for a refund and they still haven't gotten back to me. If you had any work done here (Goodyear Kyle) double check to ensure it was done. I stopped by to get new front brake pads. They quoted me $800. I asked why so expensive and they told me that's for rotors and brake pads. I told them my rotors are fine and I only need pads. They said their policy is to replace both. I of course left and searched for alternative. I found another location nearby that was much cheaper. And had I really needed rotors this place was $200 less than Goodyear. read more

I would like to start off by saying I don't usually do a lot of reviews but, I was really very impressed with the service I received at this locations Goodyear service Center. I got a flat tire on my way to Houston and knowing the flat fix cans are not really the best option I needed to use it in order to get to a service center. I was expecting this to be a costly endeavor for a simple flat fix but the people at this location were extremely nice. They prioritized my repair took the tire apart and cleaned the flat fixed gel and the tire sensor and also rotated the tires. I was extremely shocked when it only cost me a handshake and a thank you. I'm from Austin and realized I had a nail in my tire leaking badly on a trip to San Antonio. I called 3-4 tire shops. Most said it would be 3-4 hours, one didn't even pick up the phone. Good year answered the phone quick and professionally and told me to get to them as soon as I could, and they'd have someone waiting for me, and they did. I was in and out in less than an hour. Went to Goodyear in Kyle Texas to have my tires rotated and rebalanced and an alignment. Laura helped me. My vehicle had a small vibration. I had taken it to two local Chevy dealers in the past. The Chevy dealers were unable to diagnose the vibration. At Goodyear the Mechanic explained to me and showed me that the rim was not true. The rim was bent. The lovely Sarah W. picked up a screw in her new tire, and I could not take the car in for her, so I originally sent her to Discount Tire in Kyle for a patch, where they attempted to scam her (and you can read my less than kind review I left them for their efforts if you care). Abel and the staff at Goodyear treated me with the utmost respect when I stopped in this morning to get my tire patched. I had just come from Discount Tire where they tried to scam me into buying a brand new tire before even attempting to look at the screw in my tire (See my review of Discount for more details). I took my car there for an oil change. I was a little worried about their estimate of an hour, but it was done in about 25 minutes. They have free wi-fi, which is a plus, but it is painfully slow. Still it allowed me to be productive and get some work done while I waited. They have coupons in the local paper and on the back of the receipts at HEB, which brought the total to about $21, that's about $10 less than I usually pay. Alright, here's the deal- the customer service was awesome. Everyone there was very kind and accommodating and the store was clean and well-kept. Here's the bad part- My CEL came on and I took the car in to this location. After being charged a $90 diagnostic fee( which is LUDICROUS) I was told that both my 02 sensors were bad and needed to be replaced. This would cost me well over $600 and I was asked several times to sign up for a Goodyear credit card. Something seemed fishy about this so I said 'no thank you' and took it to a different mechanic for a second opinion. This mechanic quoted me $300 (yeah, HALF the price of Goodyear) but ended up taking a look at my vehicle and found out that it was not, in fact, my 02 sensors, but a simple fix that cost me literally no money. My car has been running great ever since, and this was well over a month and a half ago. No Check Engine Light. No nothing. Long story short- Goodyear would have happily taken my $600 to "fix" something on my car that was fine in the first place. I will never, I repeat NEVER take my car to be serviced at a Goodyear again. I do not doubt that this is a company-wide policy and not just a mistake on this particular store's part. Goodyear has forever lost my business and I am BEGGING anyone who uses their services to get a second opinion from a different, reputable mechanic. read more

Took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation and a couple weeks later I found out two of my wheel bolts on two separate tires were misthreaded (meaning the nuts were put on wrong) causing them to break when removing them. A tire place would be the last place I would expect that to happen. I really wonder if they have a QA or QC process to check their technicians work. read more

I will say that I called for a quote on four tires and after telling them they were a bit higher than a competitor close by, the manager dropped the price over $200. I made an appointment for my Fiat on a Thursday (for the following Monday) via Email. I also posted my phone number. When I arrived for my appointment they told me they did not carry the filter to fit my vehicle..I would need to drive to Slaughter Lane because they carry that product. I left, stopped at the recently opened Firestone. They did NOT carry the Fiat filter..BUT, even tho I DID NOT have an appointment, they would go get one and do my oil change. The first time I went here the front desk woman was a nightmare. She was blatantly saying rude things about a customer that had just left. She didn't advise me of the wait time when I initially got there. I sat there for an hour & had to go out to the shop to get her attention to get an update. That's when I saw that my car was still parked in the parking lot and nothing had been done yet. She was snarky, rude, and completely incompetent. She was distracted by her phone, other employees or by talking to herself about other people. Weird. I told the manager as I was leaving & was given $25 off my next service. After some consideration, I decided to go a second time because of the "coupon" and because it so close to my house. I arrive and the manager i spoke with last time was now working up front. She advised me that they let the other woman go. Then the manager proceeded to say negative things about her ex-employee. Thankfully, she was honest about the wait time and I left my car there...for 3 hours before I had to call them and ask for an update. They said it would be ready in 5 minutes so I went back up there, paid fire my oil change, and when I got into my car, someone else keys were in the cup holder. I was given a $15 off after this second visit but I won't be back. Everyone I've interacted with has been unprofessional, they seem to be under staffed and I'd rather drive to the other side of Kyle or even to San Marcos or Austin before I drive 5 minutes to this place. read more

I made an inspection appointment online and about 5 minutes later the manager called to say that I don't actually have an appointment because they don't take them online (although I just did it through their corporate site?!?). Would have been no big deal but he was extremely rude. The other time I had a newborn and simply called to inquire when would be best for me to come in. Ended up putting a new, but wrong size tire on it to get home. I called around and could not find my odd size tires anywhere. Was in Kyle on business and stopped in to see if they had anything close. I scheduled an appointment for noon and they came out to the lobby over 50 minutes later to let me know my oil change that I had a coupon for would actually be over $70. I get it requires a special oil, but have gotten it done at other places for around $40. Not to mention why it took them 50 minutes before opening the hood to determine what type of oil was needed when I had come in for my 12pm scheduled appointment. I just bought a car a bout a month ago (used) had some mechanical problems took it to Good Year ( Jason) the manager was the only person my husband and i dealt with, he was as everyone has said great individual, professional and truly out to help the customer. My battery i had just purchase from Auto zone 3 weeks prior was defective and they replaced. Other issues i had i was referred out to another place which really makes me feel great that someone like Jason would recommend the next shop to work on my transmission. I have been to the Kyle, TX location before and was somewhat ok with there service. However, I went this morning arrived about 8:30 with a tire that was leaking air. The parking lot was basically empty and there were no cars in the bay none, zero. I thought this is my lucky day. I was wrong I soon found out why there were no cars the person at the counter when I walked had somewhat of an attitude and before I could even explain what was my issue she said if I could leave it they might be able to get to it in the afternoon. I explained that I had a tire leaking and I had to be on the road on a long trip by noon. She said they were completely booked even though the bay was empty!!!! and that if I left it they may be able to get to it in the afternoon. I will never return there and whoever owns this location really needs to get involved otherwise they will probably be out of business. read more
