Stained seats and center console i wasn't told about.

Two major issues with this dealership: communication and dishonesty Communication- first I had trouble connecting with my salesperson. I should have taken that as a warning and moved on. It turned out my salesperson was sick so communication stopped. We ended up connecting and I purchased the car after they had others pitch in on answering questions. It sounds like the used salespeople are worn thin and have trouble doing everything needed. Communication issues continued with the fiinance department. I was sent something late one night. I called the next day for a follow up question and the person was out of office. I called again the day after and they were out again. I called again the next day and was finally told they were out on a planned vacation but nobody let me know. Another time, I tried to make a downpayment but it didn't work. After reaching out to several people, I was told it was a known issue. Nobody told me this, they just said keep trying with no success. Reaching someone at the dealership was like pulling teeth. I would call and be redirected. One of two things would happen. 1. It would ask for an extension. I had no idea what extension I needed. Or 2. It would ring and then hang up and I'd have to call again. They clearly need to work on their phone system. After I purchased the car I received a phone message saying my paperwork was sent to the county clerk's office in my area. I talked to people for 2 hours trying to track it down. The most common response was "why in the world would they send it here!?" Turns out the sent it to my local dmv. After a few weeks I was finally able to track the paperwork down, but I couldn't drive the car because it was unregistered. I was even pulled over due to it not being registered and the officer said it is usually done almost immediately electronically to avoid that very situation. Dishonesty I bought my car remotely. I asked the same question i asked several other dealers- are there any scratches, dings, STAINS, mechanical issues or anything else I should know about? Since I couldn't inspect the car in person, I had to rely on my salesperson be truthful. I was told "the car is in great shape with no issues worth mentioning". Imagine my surprise when it was delivered and the back seat had stains ALL OVER like someone had a pop/soda explode and couldn't clean it up. It was majorly disappointing to spend that much money and see the condition of the seats, especially after asking. I felt very betrayed and disappointed in the dealership. Had I known about the stains, I most likely would have passed on the car or asked for a better deal. Was it the worst dealership experience I've ever had? Shockingly no, but it was far from the best. If i had to do it over again knowing what I do now, i likely would have passed on the car and purchased from another dealership. There was a lot more hassle than necessary and it felt like a lot of things were allowed to fall through the cracks.

I am absolutely THRILLED with my experience dealing with ANDREA at Wyatt Johnson Toyota! I recently sold my beloved Camaro in order to buy a 2023 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium, and I couldn't be happier. Andrea, our saleswoman, was simply amazing. She was so down to earth and easy to talk to! I genuinely looked forward to every visit. Andrea made the entire process feel effortless and, honestly, SO fun. Just like most people, I usually despise the car-buying process, but this experience was COMPLETELY different. Andrea made it incredibly enjoyable from start to finish. The 4Runner is pristine, and Andrea went above and beyond: she made sure the gas tank was FULL when we drove it off the lot. Small talk and kind gestures speak volumes to me. When you decide you want to go to Wyatt Johnson, don't be silly and let the front desk choose a salesperson for you! Ask for Andrea!!! You will literally want to hang out with her after! You will have to have a mini mirror session where you look yourself directly in the eyes and talk yourself out of texting her to ask if you can go to her Halloween party . That's how I know I was treated right, not tricked (see what I did there) Wyatt Johnson management if you are reading this, give that girl a raise!!! She DESERVES it!!! She is really doing the most, in the best way possible! P.S. I do not know Andrea personally, and no one has bribed me to write this review, I'm just expressing my genuine satisfaction with the service I received! Thank you Andrea!! Syanne

My husband went to get a new vehicle because he desperately needed one. Mark Weir was his salesman and was really down to earth. My husband is satisfied with his purchase. And they even sent Christie's cookie which made me happy!

A little more than the portion of the metal that actually punctured all the way through tire.

However, I later discovered that the vehicle I was sold is actually the base LE trim, which is the lowest trim level. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I contacted Tyler to address the issue, but he did not appear concerned and did not provide any meaningful assistance. I requested that the GSM or GM contact me to discuss the matter further, but I have not received a response. It has now been a week, and despite multiple attempts to reach a manager, no one has followed up with me. There is a significant price difference between the Limited and LE trims, approximately $7,000 to $10,000. Given the circumstances and the lack of communication, I feel compelled to share my experience publicly and pursue further action, including filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly encourage others to carefully verify all vehicle details before completing a purchase

Purchased a 1‑year‑old Volkswagen from Wyatt Johnson Subaru in August for approximately $25,000…read more The vehicle was represented and priced as having no significant prior damage and had a clean Carfax report. Shortly after purchase, paint on one side began peeling and exterior trim started loosening and separating. A Volkswagen dealer inspected the vehicle and found that the entire side had been previously repainted, with signs of prior repair including possible body filler. They also confirmed that trim had been painted over, which does not properly adhere and is now failing. Volkswagen declined warranty coverage due to clear evidence of prior damage and repair. Subaru's records reportedly indicate only a minor cosmetic repair, which does not align with these findings. I made multiple attempts to resolve this with dealership management, including escalation, but am no longer receiving responses. Subaru of America confirmed in writing that this is solely the responsibility of the selling dealership. Given the condition of the vehicle versus how it was represented and priced, this has been a very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend obtaining an independent inspection before purchasing.

Not only did Kia not do the job they said they would, they sent me off in a car/model known to have safety issues with no information. It is hard to imagine how much apathy for their patrons Wyatt Johnson Kia Service Center has. I was allowed to drive off the lot in a car with a known potentially dangerous electrical system.

I should have followed my instincts when driving up at 8:35 am and no "green arrows" were on at service door and no discernible lights on inside and could see no people moving around. I waited about 5 to 7 mins and I drove on and come back about 30 mins later and the same thing. Finally after about 5 mins or so the door went up. I ask what time they opened and he said 7am. I stated that is what I was told and the sign on service door stated this also. I told him that I had been there earlier and the door did not open and the "green arrows" that I was told about on phone were not on. He ask "their not on yet". The service advisor presented with no professionalism or customer courtesy. He never came to the customer lounge to inform me of the total price or to confirm he had entered the info I gave him was correct on work order. Any way I got a call back that my car was ready, about two hours and was timely. I was presented with invoice at the cashier's window and the advisor walked away quickly. Total price was $741. She insisted I sign everything and like a robot "cash, check or card". I signed, BIG mistake! Not that it actually matters. I never worry about this with the two Chevrolet Dealers I have done business with for years. Drove the car about 10 miles through traffic and checked transmission fluid three times. It was barley in the minimum zone but should had more fluid. I drove back to service doors and one opened. Some man, I'm guessing service manager, supervisor or something, standing by car when I got got out so I told him about the fluid level. He stated he would "take are of it," that he "had a trainee back there." A trainee changed my transmission fluid! Think about that. He should had closer supervision! It's a transmission!! The coolant does not look near as orange/red as it did the last time it was changed at the dealership where I bought the car. It just does not appear to be fresh/clean. The brake fluid at least had some added but is absolutely very close to being too full. It is over the fill level line and may be touching the 'cushion' on inside of cap. The tech did NOT clean any of the fluid caps or the area around the caps. This is strong evidence of NO professionalism and does not instill confidence. This of course worries me. I saw this after arriving home. I'm glad I keep under hood fairly clean. Now to the "Dollar Store" wipers. They did fit but were NOT close to the wipers they replaced. The wipers looked like toys compared to previous wipers. I had replaced twice before at two other Chevrolet Dealerships. After arriving home, I took passenger wiper off and it was held on, sort of, by a very thin plastic tab that almost broke off and would not have stayed on again! I have never felt so 'reamed' in my life! It is not the price, it's "what did I get for MY money". After arriving home, I called my local Chevrolet Dealer Parts Department and they had the wipers in stock that belonged on my car. She also stated voluntarily, "Sir, if you will pull into one of the service lanes we will be happy to install these for you." No charge for installing. They did follow through. I chose James Corlew Chevrolet out of convenience and location at the time!!! Lesson learned! BTW I have owned a few new Buicks and Chevrolets over the years and have dealt with numerous GM dealerships throughout the Southeast and this is absolutely the worst experience. In fact, it is my only truly bad experience with the actual service. This was my experience at James Corlew Chevrolet. You be the judge. What do you think I got for my money?

From the beginning with my service advisor Allan,I felt that my primary concerns were not taken seriously. I clearly explained the issue during check-in, yet I had to repeat those same concerns later because they appeared to have been overlooked. Instead of focusing on the problem I originally brought the vehicle in for, I was encouraged to authorize a repair that was not my immediate priority. While I understand the repair may have been necessary, I was not financially prepared to complete it at this time and had not intended to move forward with it during this visit. Initially, the technician made it seem as though that repair(the brake light), was the reason for my concern with my vehicle. If I had not spoken up and insisted that my original concern be addressed, I would have left with the actual problem unresolved. When I did advocate for myself, I felt as though I was inconveniencing the technician, which made the interaction uncomfortable. Only after the vehicle was sent back for further inspection was the true issue identified. I would have appreciated having my original concerns taken seriously from the start instead of focusing on secondary repairs before diagnosing the problem I came in to address. Good customer service includes listening carefully to customers and addressing their primary concerns. Overall, I did not feel valued as a customer during this visit. If there were another Nissan dealership in the area, I would likely choose to take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, Matthews Nissan is my only local option in Clarksville.
