This place is amazing!! They have a plethora of nutritional options and overall health and wellness offerings for your pet. We have visited them for joint inflammation relief for our 12 year old Doberman. Prices are as good as you can find on the internet. But mainly, the staff is so incredible with our pit bull who hates to have her nails trimmed. They are the only ones that are able to pull this off as she absolutely will not allow myself, wife, or daughters to even go near the Dremel or nail trimmers. They know their stuff but their stuff has a big markup on it and the store is not well organized - it's overwhelming. The food that they say they stock - I was not able to find easily on the shelves. I do not want to ask for help, I want to find it myself. More importantly, they don't stand behind crappy products they sell. Yes, it's the manufacturer, but you are also complicit in selling a bad product, if you really care about my pet, you will happily provide a return, not lecture the customer who bought a clearly overpriced and potentially dangerous product that did not perform as promised (right on the packaging). Just FWIW - they explicitly said they don't do returns on bad products they sell you. don't waste your money, why spend $20 when you can spend $2, cost of gas for the return, break even. Or just burn a $20 bill for the fun of it. Just another scam/ripoff merchant that needs to be held accountable. read more

The store clean and so amazingly beautiful and organized! She answered all my questions was very helpful. Even gave me a bag of dog food and digestive system pills for my dog! I usually have a great experience, however I used wash bay 2 today and had a couple of issues. The pullout doggie ramp was broken and I had to get some help to get it extended. The attendant said they knew it was broken but was surprised when we were able to pull it out. The lock on the door was missing a metal loop that a hook secures to and this keeps the door from swinging open. I was told they knew the part was missing and said I should put the waste basket in front of the door. Not a brilliant suggestion because that would barely keep the Door from swinging in but nothing to keep the door from swinging out. I was given a small bottle of shampoo, but it was so watered down, I needed a second bottle from my Shephard. When we were finished with the wash, my dog came down the broken ramp and went through the unsecured door and out into the store. Just another reason to have a secured door. When I rangled him back into the bay, I was unable to dry him off because the dryer hose was too short. I ended up leaving with a wet dog!!! The staff was apologetic, however they fail to fix minor issues that makes a big difference creating a very negative experience for me. Not sure why the Manger can't fix minor issues. Either he doesn't care or is too lazy. Won't be going back and if you go absolutely do not use bay#2. I won't be surprised if bay 1 and 3 crap out as well. read more

I have been going to J&T Feeds for many years now, to purchase high quality food for my dogs. After speaking with multiple great veterinarians who warned me about "big brand" dog foods in big box retail stores, I decided to do some research and find some of the best dog food I could. I went to J&T and spoke with owner Teri Miller-Segelke, who was more than happy to speak at length with me about some great dog food options. She even gave me samples to take home and try. In the end we decided on NutriSource for our dogs' well-being. J&T has a wide selection of that brand for us to use for our dogs, at any stage of their life and health! Also, the store has an agreement with NutriSource, that every 13th bag of food is free! I appreciate so much the personal attention I received along with the great info, so I could make a good, informed decision about what I wanted! Just found this store today, and already I know I will be a frequent shopper. J & T has an excellent selection of top line foods, lots of pet toys, and better then average prices. What I am especially excited about is the fact that they carry Orjen and Acana brand dog food. They are the only store in town that I know of that has carries these brands. They have a superb selection of flavors and every size bag. They were Super friendly, and offered exceptional customer service. To the person that has the Circle, 16 inch saddle at this store on consignment, you might consider moving it. It is the type, brand and size of saddle we have been looking for. Just happened to see it while making another purchase. Ask the sales clerk what the "other equipment included" and he said he did not know. We ask him to call the owner and he refused to do so and I quote "who answers their phone on a Sunday afternoon?" You missed a cash sale! First and only time we will be customers of J&T. read more

I have been a customer of J&T Feeds for a very long time. I must say, In those 13 years of faithful patronage, I do not have even one negative comment regarding staff, supply and merchandise, or service. In fact, the exceptional customer service, staff friendliness, and knowledge of products are what has kept me coming time after time. To be honest, I have not shopped around comparing prices. Many friends and relatives have made comment about how some products are less expensive where they shop. And that may be true; however, they are not taking into consideration that everyone has their own definition of what should be viewed as a "value." For some people, myself included, quantity is not better than quality. I would much rather spend a couple extra dollars at a small, independently-owned company where customer loyalty is truly appreciated. Customers receive quality products that are reasonably priced, but more importantly, the customer is served with superior customer service. Yea, so I may be paying an extra dollar - maybe even two, but I can tell you that the extra money is just my contribution to: Ability to develop a good rapport with a business I patronize; ability to gain insight by "picking brains" of the knowledgeable staff; not having to fight crowds and stand in a crowded line for 30+ minutes with just a couple items to purchase unlike the overflowing carts ahead of me.; last, but not least - excellent customer service. I enjoy the feeling (every time I visit) that I am being served as in the "old west" days, when being polite and cordial wasn't a learned or forced skill, but a natural action and reaction. For me, J&T Feeds' "value" cannot be compared to those businesses that the almighty $ is what keeps them in business. Unfortunately, the bigger many companies get, the less customer-focused the business becomes.
