Went there for a Gyros. First problem, major language barrier. The woman taking my order barely spoke English. I thought she understood what I ordered by the way she stated "okay" after telling her I would like a "Gyros with everything on it, extra Tzatziki sauce and a small fries. Well, after waiting approximately 10 minutes for a Gyros and small fries, what I got was, a Gyros with about 4 strips of Gyros meat, very little onions and a small slice of tomato drenched in garlic salad dressing, wrapped in a flour tortilla. And it only cost me $15.98.

Absolutely horrible. No flavor. Hard pita. Rough meat. Flavorless rice. Never ever going here again.

Delicious and plentiful portions. Grilled meats were exceptional. Vegetables were fresh and delightfully prepared. Baba Ganoush had a delightfully creamy texture and smokey flavor. Very friendly and kind staff. Food was prepared fresh as we waited and dined in. Took home leftovers. Would definitely repeat.

It was definitely a more "lowkey" experience, but it was a comfortable place to enjoy a relaxed meal. FOOD: We ordered the chicken noodle soup, egg rolls, goat curry, and tea leaf salad. We really enjoyed all of the food, but the rich and flavorful goat curry was definitely the standout! The tea leaf salad was still pretty good, although it was not quite as flavorful as we were hoping it would be. SERVICE: The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming without ever making us feel rushed. Our server was patient with us and even gave us a free dish when dishes were taking a bit longer to come out. PRICE/VALUE: Prices were pretty standard for the area and felt reasonable for the quality and portions. PARKING: Parking was easy and convenient with a large lot outside. Overall, this was a very solid four-star experience, and I would gladly come back for the goat curry!

The server was always on her phone. I asked her so many times to removed the dirty plates from the table and she completely ignored us. The ambiance was empty just a few orders to go. I ordered online for carry out and the platform was easy to navigate. Once my husband and I arrived at the resto we were greeted by a very kind staff member. Our food wasn't ready but within 5 mins of us being there it was good to go. We tried the wonton soup and chicken dumplings app. Both were on the bland side. Normally I'm used to wonton soup also having noodles and theirs does not. Flavors were OK, felt like both dishes were missing spices. Everything was cooked perfectly though. Maybe we ordered the wrong items from here and need to try others instead.

The food I had was pretty tasty, I got to try the chicken and beef shawarma plate - very expensive but very tasty, big portion enough for 2 meals. I also tried the beef kifta kabob wrap with a side of falafel- delicious! They threw in an extra falafel as well, thanks! There is also plenty of seating inside if you want to dine in. My only negatives are they do not give free cups of water, you have to buy a bottle if you want a drink. And they only include one tiny cup of hot sauce with your order. Overall, it was a good experience, if you want Mediterranean and you're in Gurnee it's not a bad choice.

The vibe inside is lowkey but elegant, great for a quiet night out or a new food experience with friends or family. The menu reflects a wide variety of authentic dishes -- some comforting, others bold and new depending on your palate. Pelmeni (dumplings): Very strong in flavor, not what I'm typically used to. The texture might take some getting used to -- I wasn't the biggest fan, but my friend loved it. Plov: So flavorful and hearty -- slightly on the greasy side but still really satisfying.
