On weekends they make fresh jalebi that my family LOVES! The food is always flavorful, portions are generous, and the vibe is fun. Don't live in the area but someone years ago told me if you want good dosas come here. Well, I happen to be driving down the street with a friend going to a different place for lunch and quickly turned around and had to come here. Nice open place with a variety of vegetarian options with counter service and plenty of seats. We both ordered the masala dosa and enjoyed both of the chutney's. Neehee's is basically vegetarian Indian fast food and they have a log of options as you can see from their menu. The serve chaat, Indo-Chinese, and popular Indian dishes. The portion sizes are huge for sharing as you can see by the pictures I posted. On Friday's and Saturday's they do jalebi (and Indian fried dessert) and also have ice cream included several popular Indian choices as well as American choices. They also make an Indian dessert shake called Falooda and have mango lassi. The store has plenty of seating for small to large groups. Bathrooms were clean but only the wall soap dispenser had soap. The decor had Indian themed wallpaper in Hindi. There was a long ordering line on a Friday which took about 15 min but then the food came out in about 5-10 min, so it isn't as fast as you would expect but given that it's Indian food this is actually considered fast. Average price of a meal is about $10-$15 per dish. Food was very flavorful, served fresh, and the dishes were study. The staff seemed nice. Definitely a place that is going to be around for awhile. Busy legit Indian street food restaurant. Been coming here since they opened a few years ago. It's a far drive for us and we come regularly due to their tasty foods and consistent value. We often bring the whole family or part of a large crowd. Tables can be moved together for groups or a family. 6 booth tables by the window are also available. I've ordered from NeeHee's several times already, and I still think they are pretty good and consistent. The bhel puri is my favorite; it is light and well-balanced in flavor. My other favorite is the veg hakka noodles; they are just perfect. It's not overly greasy, and the noodles aren't overcooked. I prefer the regular veg hakka noodles to the schezwan ones. The kung pao paneer was good; the sauce was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. The mirchi bhajia here is very very spicy, so beware. If you love spicy peppers, then you will love their mirchi bhajia. The samosas are your typical punjabi samosas; nothing overly special, but not bad. The cauliflower curry and eggplant curry are good! The portion is little, but just enough with some basmati rice or roti. read more

Please do not go there. Bad bad customer service. I went to pick up chole bhatura and Dahi puri chaat. There was an order of extra bhatura in chole bhatura. The chaat was completely soggy and looked like premade and stale. Also there was no extra bhature which I paid extra 3 dollars for, it was missing altogether. I tried to call them to rectify the problem, no answer,nobody picks up the phone and also voice box was full memory so messages could not be left. So I had to drive back to the restaurant which is like 10 miles away from home just to prove my point. The ladies at the counter were very rude started fighting and arguing with me that we gave you 3 not 2 bhatura, "you are wrong". Omg am I crazy to drive back just to get that extra bhatura. Also the Spanish dudes working behind did not look like they spoke English, so how can they understand the order on line. They instead of being apologetic made me look crazy and starving for stupid extra bhatura. But I am not gonna stay quiet, I have decided to write bad review on every platform and encourage my friends who ironically have similar experience to write bad reviews. It's a vegetarian, fast casual spot. Neehee's offers a chance to taste some of the fun Indian foods - lots of chaat options, ice cream, dessert like drinks, sandwiches, dosas and fried bread. There's even a Jalabi section, though it was closed when I got there - we were there around 8:30pm, so might be open for weekend hours. The food was good. I really enjoyed the bhature, the fried puff bread. It's crispy, but kind of chewy. Very satisfying. The dosa is a bit thicker and not as crisp as it could be, but still enjoyable. There is the paper dosa, which is 2 feet long that could feed 2 people. I found the pricing to be on the higher end... for what appears to be fast food meatless option, $15 for bread and chickpeas seems pricey, but the food tasted good and the space is clean and spacious. Love it! I felt like I was at Haldiram's in New Delhi. The chaat is super authentic and the menu is vast! They don't just have one or two things - they have them all. Between five of us we shared the pani puri, Delhi papri chaat, bhel puri, Raj kachori, and samosa chole. It was all perfection. We also got the rose lassi and mango lassi. We finished off with the chicku and pistachio ice cream. This place is no frills but it doesn't need to be! The food is so good and again very authentic. Love this place for indian chats. Their Chola bhature is extremely good. The bhature are so well made with not a drop of oil on them. Best chaat place in Chicago! It's a new place, nice and clean. They have a extensive menu with lots of options. Everything is vegetarian here. Food tasted great and was freshly made to order. Serving portions are big and each order could easily be shared by 2-3 people. The ice cream collection is also excellent. My favorites were mango and lychee. They also had flavors like fennel and Sitafal. All the chaat items were mouthwatering good, cannot wait to go back there again. We ordered the veggie cutlets, dahi puri, Raj Kachori, Chili Paneer Dosa Wrap, Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji and some mango and rose lassi. Some of the items I have ordered are Bhel Puri, Papdi Chaat, Dahi Wada, Khasta Kachori, Garlic Cheese Vada Pav, Samosa Pav, Szechaun Cheese Vada Pav, Bombay Veggie Grill, a few of the desi Chinese items, and some dosa wraps. We liked their pager system, whenever food is ready you will get the pager vibrating this way you don't have to be on lookout for the food or keep your ears open. We ordered Pani Puri, Dabeli, Paneer Sandwich and Dosa. Dabeli was a delight to eat. Pani Puri was okay. Paneer Sandwich had mint which was overpowering every other taste and felt was not at par. Dosa was big in size and crispy, we liked it, sambhar was good too but chutneys were too bland and the masala was also only eatable. We thought of having Sitafal ice cream, as I am a huge fan but when tasted it felt ice more than flavor, mango ice cream was somehow having the taste of a mango so went with it instead. Okay I see you Neehee's. After reflecting on my embarrassingly disturbing hangry junctures I have come to the realization that Neehee's has consistently tamed this beast with it's made to order Indian vegetarian yummys. Props! There is such variety here. Their menu is like my my staircase, long and trippy, but it doesn't creak. Also, unlike many places that compete with them throughout the burbs, Neehee's has not once said "sorry we're out of that", thus eliminating "wa wa" playing in people's heads. They're armed with a medley of signature and classic snacks, chaats, and full on meals, tailoring to your personal level of the munchies. Again made to order, no heat lamps, so hot foods are piping hot. They also have dessert. Take a moment to browse their ice cream flavors as they are truly exotic.. in the US. We ordered 3 dishes - undhiyu puri, mumbai grill and kachori chaat. The amount of oil puri had was too much, its like whoever made the puri did not know how to make it. In the sandwich, bread was tooooo dry and hard maybe it was not fresh. Kachori had very limited stuffing. Food is overpriced and quality is ok.
