Absolutely the WORST dentist experience I've ever had! I have had GREAT insurance through King County for over 20 years. I informed the woman at the front desk that they need to submit to my insurance ASAP (this was in November) because I was having an implant for the tooth Jensen worked on in December, which would exhaust my insurance coverage. Well.... they DIDN'T submit my insurance until the END of December and sure enough, my implant depleted my insurance and my claim from Dr. Jensens office was denied ($250). The comment from the front desk woman (in front of Dr. Jensen) was, "Everybody has their sad story". They messed up my credit, which was over 800 which effected my new house purchase interest rate. My credit is back over 840 now and I've since refinanced my home at 2.75%. My husband and I had been loyal Jensen clients since he opened his office. Stay away from this office! read more

I wrote my original review on July 11th, 2018 (below). After writing that review, I received an email and phone call from Chad the office manager. He explained that phone system they use doesn't always forward voicemails left by patients, and that this wasn't the first time he had heard of it happening. He also said that there wasn't any plan to fix the issue. In our conversation, he also provided me with information and recommendations I was looking for. I deleted my Yelp review after our phone conversation. ---Here's where it gets bad: That night (8:45pm) I received an email tirade from Chad. It was condescending, rude, and outright called me a liar for my original posted review. Screenshot attached. Yelp time-stamps reviews, he was able to see that it was from day before. It had also been deleted by then, too. **I was personally attacked by this business in the middle of the night over email** This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a business. ---Here's where it gets worse. When my wife heard about this later and read his emails, she wrote a Yelp review calling Chad out for being rude and unprofessional. He personally attacked her and tried to use the one other 1-star Yelp she had ever written to discredit her saying "you're extensive 1-star Yelp history speaks for itself" -something that's plain to see in his other responses publicly here. Her reply was to continue to point out his unprofessionalism: -personally attacking patients of the business on Yelp -calling every negative reviewer a liar, saying "do the right thing and amend your lies" -searching patients' personal record data and posting it on Yelp (also a federal violation of HIPAA) -instances of being condescending or derogatory. -She included screenshots in her review ---and here's the culmination (so far): He has since modified his replies to these Yelp responses so that they're less terrible. He reported my wife's review as "second-hand experience" and Yelp removed the review. It's like he hasn't done anything wrong, all swept under the rug and erased. Before her post was removed, he is even edited his response to her review. The edited "nicer" version is attached (didn't screenshot the original, attack-y response) **This is no okay** **Do not support this business** Original review I wrote on July 11th, 2018: I am a patient of this office. Normal teeth cleanings get scheduled and are fine. I started coming here because it has an early 7am appointment. I had questions about some teeth grinding I noticed and called to see about coming in. No answer even though it was business answers so left a message. Never heard back so called back 2 weeks later to follow up. Tried calling a few times throughout the day during business hours and phone was never answered so left another message. Never heard back from them. It's been two more weeks since my second time calling and never received a call back (so 4 weeks in total). More recently, my permanent retainer on my bottom teeth unexpectedly broke and I called for advice to see what to do (original orthodontist is no longer practicing, so wanted to see if they could fix or refer me). Called during business hours and no answer. Left a message and no response. I even emailed them and haven't heard anything. I've been coming to this dentist for 4 years and have only ever needed cleanings. Will be switching dentists after being completely ignored for the past month the first time anything irregular came up. I ended up calling a different dentist that was able to schedule me to come in the next day Short version: They will ignore patients calls and messages for weeks for no apparent reason as soon as anything irregular comes up. Side note, the "after hours emergency line" connected me to a regular, normal hours dentist office, not a 24-hour service, and the office staff for that dentist didn't even know they were "covering" for Dr Jensen's office read more

I visited this office for the first time today and I was so impressed I'll keep coming back. I had a chipped tooth repaired and I also had a cleaning. Everyone on staff were kind and professional and I went home feeling really good about my teeth. I'll be back with my son and husband! Thank you for the quick and gentle care. read more

Dr. Jensen ya day his staff are incredible. When I first moved to Seattle, I was overwhelmed with having to find a new dentist in a new city. Luckily I was referred to Dr. Jensen and couldn't be happier. From front desk manager to my hygienist and the doctor, I feel confident and at ease knowing that my mouth is in excellent hands. Everyone in the office is not only efficient and accommodating they are very friendly. It makes going to the dentist a pleasurable trip. Dr Jenson is genuinely one of the nicest most gentle people I have ever met. He truly cares that the experience in painless. He has chosen his office staff well. Everyone is compassionate, caring, upbeat and ON IT! Chad at the front desk is ultra organized, kind and went out of his way to accommodate both my husband and my schedule. The Dr checked in and was very friendly and good about checking my teeth. Best of all, unlike my other QAnne dentist, he accepts assignment of Cigna which covered my visit. This whole office is awesome. Chad at the front desk is super responsive and helpful. He is so quick to respond and wants to help the customers so much. I feel cared for from the moment I set up the appointment over the phone or email. In fact, I'm an email sort of gal and Chad is ON IT with the emails. We arrange almost everything over email. I love it. Not a lot of offices would do that. Then there are the awesome hygienists. Every single visit has been amazing and I've been a client for over two years. When I started out, I hated going to the dentist. Now, I love it! Now let's talk about Dr. Jensen. He had to redo some of my old childhood fillings and it was the quickest dental appointment I've ever had. In and out in 15 minutes. How he worked so quickly, I'll never know! But the efficiency and skill he possesses is obvious. You really can't do any better than Dr. Jensen! I would highly recommend this office, the staff, and Dr. Jensen to anyone and everyone! read more

I have really enjoyed going to Dr. Jensen for the past 1.5 years. I have always had a great dental record, so my cleanings have been super easy. My husband, however, had gone a looooong time without seeing a dentist. When he started at Dr. Jensen, they recommended additional cleanings to make up for lost time. They've worked with him to get his teeth back on track for success! We've also been taking out toddler here and he does great with kids! Our 3 year old has been in twice now and we'll be bringing out 6 month old in as soon as he gets teeth! The staff is nice and friendly and the office if very clean. read more

These one-star reviews are bogus. Scheduling is easy and sends out email/calendar reminders. They looked up my new dental insurance without me having to do anything. The staff is friendly, the hygienist does a great job of cleaning painlessly and expediently. read more

I went in to see Dr. Jensen for what I honestly thought would be a complementary service, that is, the re-gluing of a veneer. I walked in the door and out the door in less than ten minutes, including paying. Dr. Jensen himself spent about 30 seconds with me and said fewer words. It cost $150!!! I felt quite ripped-off ... and more so when it fell off again in less than 12 hours. (The second re-glue was, however, "free".) The next time something similar happened, I went to a different dentist. This time, I had actually lost the veneer (swallowed it?), so re-gluing wasn't an option. The new dentist gave me two options: have a new ceramic veneer made, or get a much cheaper composite one. I chose the composite, which was done right then and there. A new tooth front was molded right in my mouth by the dentist in less than an hour, matched perfectly ... and the visit cost a total of $144! There was another incident a few years back. The most pain I have EVER felt in any dentist chair, and maybe in my whole life (though it lasted only a couple of seconds), was in Dr. Jensen's chair. I was still shaking when I left the office, sick feeling, and felt like I was in shock for the rest of the day. In fact, several days later I still felt ill at the memory. The help in the office is always cheerful and friendly, and most of the time Dr. Jensen seems like a nice enough guy, though more forced-friendly than sincere. The office is clean and bright and modern with all the latest technology. But I'll opt for better quality work, cheaper, and less pain any day. read more

I am been going to Dr. Jensen for over 15 years. In fact, after I moved to Bellingham, I still drive to Seattle twice a year for my appointments. The front office staff is super organized. They have several methods of reminding you about your appointments and are flexible when you need to change them. Dr. Jensen worked with me over the last several years letting me know my options replacing my childhood fillings. The new fillings look great and match my teeth color. Dr. Jensen will not rush you and will wait until you have asked all of your questions. I often ask him on his opinions on new technologies or bland things like which floss he likes. Local Tip: There is usually parking out front but is limited to an hour. Drive two blocks north to Prospect for free all day parking. read more

I've been happily going to Dr. Jensen for several years, being very picky about who I have as a dentist. He and his staff have always been wonderful - nice, professional, and all around pleasant. The location is great, the office is always clean and welcoming. Oddly, these days I actually enjoy going to the dentist. Who knew? I also really appreciate that Dr. Jensen is not about trying to convince you that you need a lot more work than you actually need. (I do wonder about that review that said Dr. Jensen missed cavities - perhaps the new dentist was just trying to get more $$ from with unnecessary dental work). I highly recommend this dentist, and am a bit baffled by any negative reviews - I wonder if they stepped into some warped alternate reality. Dr. Jensen & his staff are fantastic. read more

Dr. Jensen and his staff were wonderful. I am a new patient and was very happy with the entire process. Chad, at the front desk was awesome, friendly and professional in getting me set up for my appointment. He was very prompt and transparent when responding to my inquiries regarding insurance questions, orthodontist referrals, etc. My hygienist was Fiona and she was great. I had not been to the dentist in a long while (too long) and she was very attentive and gentle while cleaning my teeth, and a great conversationalist. We liked Dr Jensen and his staff, very much, but have serious concerns about his thoroughness and competency after going to a different dentist. my husband literally had to have bone removed because the decay between two of his teeth was so bad. these cavities were clearly visible in x-ray and Dr Jensen did nothing about it. so much more i could write here but will end with that :/ would have posted zero stars if possible read more

After having a bad experience with a dentist on Cap Hill, it took me over a yearto make another appointment. I was prepared to be a dental vagabond, leaping from dentist to dentist to avoid the inevitable lecture about how poorly I take care of my teeth and how much I must hate myself as a result. Dr Jensen and his team are the polar opposite of all that. Everyone is friendly, respectful, and professional, they play good music, and they live up to their gentile namesake (well, as gentile as fillings can be which, as it turns out, is really freakin' gentile.) As long as I'm in Seattle, I'll be coming here. read more

I recently started going to Dr. Jensen after my wife referred me here. The staff are very pleasant, always friendly, and very knowledgeable. The office is very clean and relaxing. The hygienists are very gentle while cleaning and flossing which makes the experience very enjoyable (for a dentist visit...). Unlike other dentists that I have been to I do not feel like he tries to push unnecessary services. He does offer laser dentistry which is actually quite nice. If you need a filling the laser dentistry makes the process quick and painless. I highly recommend Dr. Jensen to anyone who is looking for a new dentist in the Lower Queen Anne area. read more

The hygienist was very thorough in cleaning and the examination but also took the time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. I had a tooth in need of a root canal and bridge that was over 20 years old that needed to be repaired. I called several dentists and Jensen's office was the only one who could fit me in - and they did a great job to boot. The are efficient, professional and caring from the front office to everyone who works on your mouth in the chair. Having a slight phobia of dentists in the first place, I would recommend this office to anyone - including those who feel like me about dental work! read more

I went to this dentist three times and am actually shocked by the quality of the work. The office is very friendly, and I had a pleasant experience. However, upon returning to my old dentist in another state, I found out that Dr. Jensen missed 4 major fillings that should have been blatantly apparent. My old dentist said that they had been visible for over a year, and Dr. Jensen should have caught them during the last two visits that I went there. I'm not sure if it was carelessness or a fluke, but I would not go back to Dr. Jensen. read more

I've been to Dr. Jensen's office a few times now, and each time I experience a quick and efficient visit that doesn't compromise on friendliness. Fiona is the dental assistant who has cleaned my teeth each time, and she is extremely polite and sweet and offers tips to better care for your teeth. They use the newer water jet tools that aren't painful at all as well. read more

The whole staff is very friendly, kind, and accommodating. I was very nervous about having my first set of fillings, but the staff put me at total ease, walked me through the whole process, and were very positive and supportive. I had zero discomfort throughout the whole process. Another thing I appreciated was that the staff was very professional in laying out the costs for my treatment ahead of time.
