Highly overrated donuts, $29 for a dozen. Walmart bakery offers a fresh donut at a reasonable price.

I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. I didn't even know about their app yet until after I received the piece of paper with discounts. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 61/250 total reviews in 2026 - 902 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026

We ended up doing some serious window shopping and also got a very filling lunch here of tea, sandwiches, fruit, and kettle chips for about $55 after tax and tip. I could gush about how precious the whole place was, but if you have ever had afternoon tea in an old, historic home, then you get the idea. The menu has so many yummy options but we decided on getting tea and our own sandwich meal. I love sour cherry jam so I got the HammyJammy sandwich ($18) and my bf got a caprese sandwich with added chicken ($16 plus $4 for chicken) and we each got peach iced tea ($3). After about 15 minutes, our lovely server came back with the LARGEST PORTIONS EVER! Fortunately, we loved our food so having large portions of it made us both very happy campers. My ciabatta was fresh and crusty, the ham slices were thiccc, the bacon was fatty and salty, and the jam was generously applied. We also both recieved a good amount of fresh fruit and abive average kettle chips. Guys, the ham sandwich I got was so unbelievably good that I ate half there and then ate half very slowly at my home, enjoying every bite of the thiccccc ham, salty bacon, and generous swipe of sour cherry jam on the oversized ciabatta roll. My meal filled me up, of course, but I wish I would have ordered a half dozen more to eat for lunch every day this week. #soooobsessed. I can't think of anything negative to say. I really can't! While we didn't buy anything from the shop (I am trying to buy less stuff), we had a great time looking around, saw some fabulously unique items, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch together in a historic home. I only wish I lived closer!

We passed the time by looking around the gallery (multiple floors), but service/wait time could definitely be improved upon. The two of us were seated outside in the shade which was fantastic. There are only a few tables outside and inside, not sure what big groups look like? Our server was great, as she verbally recited their fall menu - which I ended up getting their fall strawberry feta salad and soup combo! The salads are HUGE - safe to say I had a whole meal the next day! The sandwich and pasta side was enjoyed as well. The food here is spectacular. Definitely give it a shot, but know that there may be a wait due to the small size of the place.

My mom and I stopped in on a Friday morning, and it was extremely busy! Not one single seat available, so we had to eat in our car :( There are about 50 or so coffee shops within 5-15minutes of my house, whereas Emilie's is about a half hour away. With that said, I really don't have a reason to come back. I also would never make the 30 minute drive without knowing I'll be able to have a place to sit. But if someone I knew needed a rec for a coffee shop further from Cleveland on the Westside, I'd recommend it to them! This place is a tiny little spot, nicely decorated. Very crisp and earthy. They use locally roasted ReadySet Coffee if you're one who likes to know that sort of thing. That being said, our lattes were DELISH! We got a honey bee latte and a honey lavender latte, both hot. Mmm so good! We each got a toast / tartine as well. Delicious !!! I got a veggie and my mom got a lemon blueberry (hers was way better) but both were great. And very large portions! I was impressed with how large they were ! Service was fairly quick, no complaints.

It was very nice to have personal interaction. I had seen on social media the S'mores Latte many times and wanted to try it. I was exited that it was able to be made dairy free so I ordered it with almond milk. I also ordered a dessert while I was there. The Kataifi topping had me sold. Both were very delicious. The latte was not strong like some other places would make it. There was a perfect portion of all the flavors; not too milky or overpowering with coffee. The dessert was very light and creamy. The topping also had honey which added to the deliciousness. I enjoy everything in-house while enjoying the atmosphere. It was very clean and relaxing. This is a great place to catch up with family or friends or enjoy some time alone. While I was there I downloaded the app on my phone that not only gives rewards but allowed you to order in advance.

I visited Shibam Coffee this week, on Monday, 8 June 2026 to work for a few hours. It was cold inside but thankfully I had a light jacket. I ordered the Jubani ($5), a light roast Yemeni coffee, and I also ordered also a slice of baklava ($6). The Jubani coffee was good which is great because I'm actually not a coffee drinker but the flavour wasn't as strong as I noticed when I tried it at a different Yemeni coffee shop. I still liked the Jubani coffee and I added some sugar to it. The baklava was delicious as expected but slightly too cold. Although I wasn't greeted when I entered, the young man working said hi after I said hello. Another employee kindly took my photo next to the Shibam Coffee sign/logo that was inside. Weirdly, there was no trash can inside so to get rid of the napkin that I used, I had to ask an employee to throw it away for me behind the service counter. There is a trash can in the bathroom though. Overall, if you haven't experienced a Yemen, based coffee shop then visit Shibam Coffee. The Adeni tea, a popular item, is on their menu but I haven't had it at Shibam yet (I have had the Adeni tea many times before at other Yemen coffee shops). Another Yemeni coffee shop in Cleveland is my favourite but Shibam is good too. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 127/250 total reviews in 2026 - 968 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 11 June 2026
