I absolutely love donuts and this was my first time trying the Doughnut Pantry of lakewood! unfortunately, i did not get to visit the place in person and just tasted the donuts as they were brought to me but none the less they were delish! The blueberry cake donut was flavorful, and you can tell it was made with real, fresh blueberries. It was moist which can be rare to find in a cake donut. I also really liked the cinnamon apple donut, it was glazed with just the right amount and the cinnamon flavor was good and not overwhelming at all. I wish there was a little bit more apples but that is okay. I did not get to try them all but everyone around me said their donuts were good and tasted fresh. Came in for a dozen and fyi they do have premade boxes if you don't care what 12 you get to save time. The staff were so friendly and moved fast and they were quite busy on a Friday morning around 8. I love that there's also a parking lot so you don't have to stress about Lakewood street parking. read more

I would blame an ok experience because we arrived after 10AM, which is usually a time when the donuts get a bit of staleness to them, but this is my review on what I had. We got three donuts there, a blueberry cake, an sour cream old fashioned, and a maple glazed cinnamon roll. The blueberry cake, to my surprise, was very moist and delicious. The sour cream old fashioned, which was oddly powdered, didn't have any kind of taste to it whatsoever. The maple glaze on the cinnamon roll was good, but the cinnamon roll was a little stale and barely had any cinnamon on it. They have all the classics here - glazed, jelly filled, fry cake, cinnamon buns, cream filled, Maple sticks, frosted with and without sprinkles and all other kinds of classic doughnuts that everyone loves. I went around 7 AM so the doughnuts were still pretty fresh. I thought they were delicious and they were a huge hit at the meeting. Also I got 15 doughnuts for $11.20 that is a steal! I drove by this place almost every day and I can't believe it took me 4 years of living in Lakewood before I finally stopped in! My boyfriend and I stopped in around 9am one Saturday morning and the place was not busy. They had plenty of options available and it was hard to choose which to take home! We decided on a half dozen (glazed, chocolate glazed, chocolate with sprinkles, chocolate covered cinnamon, regular cinnamon, and a plain stick donut) and they were all amazing!
