Why can't you give zero stars? I visited here tonight for an Oreo shake and when I was approaching the drive thru, there was a small group of young men hanging out at the drive thru area. When I was getting closer, I realized one of them was a worker standing outside with the portable order taking tablet, hanging with what I assumed was his buddies. I am assuming it's because the screen is broken like I read below on another review. I understand that we live in San Diego and we are blessed with great weather, but seriously making your associates stand outside at all hours of the day and night because the franchise owner can't fix the screen? What a crappy boss. As a 26 year old female, I was rather intimidated by all these young men just loitering around the drive through area, it was an awkward situation as it was approaching 10pm and not a very well lit area. The young man took my order for a large Oreo shake and I proceeded to the drive thru window - where I sat for a few minutes before a young woman came to the window telling me that you no longer had Oreos and could not make an Oreo shake. But 9 times out of ten if you don't check it before you leave you'll be coming back for something that's missing... we ordered a bunch of appetizer sides and they put each ap in their own individual bag so we had like 9 different small bags to carry and ofcorse they missed a couple of things what kind of organization is this anyway??? It's kind of disappointing because this location actually makes decent food for JITB... But again... Lost about 10 bucks on our last trip there because we paid for it but didn't receive the items! Smh one of the bags was literally just sauces no actual food in the bag... they don't answer their phone so don't bother calling to let them know they messed up an order. It's a disappointment I have gone to this location three days in a row. Everyday my order either was incorrect or something was missing. Today I gave it another try. Before I left I asked the young lady at the window for ketchup, and butter. She advised everything was inside my bag. As I get to the office to enjoy my meal guess what was missing? I've just had it with this fucken Jack in the box! Every single time I've been there they always don't get there fucken shit straight! Not only that but the employees hired think they can save there asses by calling upper hand service to save there butts. I realized that they didn't even hand me a receipt at the window when I went through the drive through. I had asked my friends sitting in the car if she did and they confirmed that I never got a receipt. I explained this to Nora and with an attitude she went ahead started saying that " I'm already getting your burger ready so you should be quiet " Never In my life have I ever heard someone say this just because I didn't get 1 single order right. It was very disrespectful and yet to see her outrageous action by being on the phone with who knows who getting my licenced plate number and saying I caused trouble and holding up lines at a certain time was very unprofessional, yet saying she was the " head manager" ,and to see around that there was only a group of nice general men behind me in no hurry to order because they knew what was going on. This place can be pretty bad. The drive through person is gheto and you can always tell that the employees dont wanna be there. One time the guy was really rude. I almost called his manager but I didnt. I know how those types of jobs can do that to people. But even if your job sucks you should still be nice to people. Maybe Jack in the Box should pay them more. Also on a previous visit I got tacos and found a piece of bone the size of a bee bee pellet. I took it back in and got a refund. To bad I can't give negative stars. I orderded 2 sourdough jacks. I got 1 chicken club went back and told them they messed up the order they then give me 2 chicken clubs. Mind you this was all in the drive thru had to wait in line 3 times total. The 3rd time they finally got it rite. Pay attention people. As I walked in last night a female employee was standing near fryer handling frozen/raw food and when the cooked asked for a patty she turned and pulled on from the warming tray without first washing hands or even putting on a glove. Then returned to her task and before l knew it she had turned and did it AGAIN. that's when I turned and walked out as cook/cashier began to ask to take my order. I was at this jack in the box a couple of days ago, I ordered cheesy tater tots and loaded tiny tacos. The tiny tacos had some cheese and lettuce in the corner of the box and the majority of the tacos had nothing on them. Every single time I go here, they mess up our order. I don't understand how they can't comprehend that my kids and I want ONLY CHEESE on our cheeseburgers. Usually they just put everything on it, but this time they put only ketchup on mine and only mayo on my kids'. How do they get that from ONLY CHEESE? So we go to return them to get them correctly made, and they tried to charge us another $9. My husband tried to explain the situation again, but they still kept trying to make us pay. Came through the drive through a bit tipsy from a night out with a lady friend (1:50 am) ordered a full combo meal and 4 bacon breakfast jacks for the kids in the Morning so I wouldn't have to sweat making them breakfast and low and behold upon arrival at home ( not close to the box) there were no breakfast jacks at all in the bag . I tried to call and no answer , I called later that day and explained the situation to a gentleman and he said I'll make it 6 instead come by anytime your name is on a list here in the store so anyone can help you out . Well BS on that cause I just got denied by an icy and less than receptive manager that honestly I wouldn't hire to serve my pigs their slop. Holly microwaved breakfast batman. With just about no one at the restaurant they still microwaved my extreme sausage sandwich. The bread was crumbling and wrinkled just like microwave bread becomes. Well let's start by saying drive-thru , who would've known that I would've took a short amount of time . Yet the orders placed in my bag would not be what I asked for . I'll start by saying that I was going to be very irate because first of all I forgot my shake was missing . They kindly replaced my shake and off I went . Thirdly , come to find out the sandwich I ordered wasn't even the correct sandwich I ordered , and back again for the second trip to get my meal corrected for the second time. Every single time I come here every employee is obviously very drunk or high. It often takes a few attempts of saying hello for them to even recognize there's someone in the drive through. I've always had to repeat my order several times, and I still only get it right about half the time. Once I had a lady forget to charge me at all, and when I asked her how much she said 'ummmmm five dollars' I gave it to her and when I drove away and checked the bag it had several burgers in it, none of which I ordered and certainly worth more than I paid. Today I ordered a meal and they gave it to me, when I asked for my drink the lady stared at me for a full minute saying nothing until I repeated myself, and then she poured it. I only come here because I work late and it's the only place open when I come in late from out of town. I don't understand how this place can operate with employees not even kind of inebriated, but so messed up they can't even interact normally. read more

its a shitty restaurant. i used to work at a different location nearby and the food was much higher quality and our management was better than the fallbrook one. ours was still bad management, but the fallbrook one is managed horribly. at our jack in the box, we made sure to constantly change the fries, get fresh tacos, make everything to the highest possible standards. the fries here are consistently soggy, the tacos consistently suck, they get half the orders wrong, i highly suggest going to a different jack in the box if youre craving it. this will just ruin your appetite. go to the bonsall one or the oceanside one. until the chefs learn how to fry/cook and the managers start doing their job, i HIGHLY suggest not goin here. read more

This place Always messes up our orders. I think a big problem is the fact that every time we've gone there, no one speaks fluent English. A neighbor told me about a neighborhood kid who interviewed for a job. The manager interviewing them wasn't able to communicate well with him because they could barely speak English.
