Horrible. Ordered a burger which was good. Got a milkshake and all they was put ice cream in a cup. Couldn't drink it for an hour. Really???

The granite city location could use better training. The person packing the bag on 9/21 at 11:00 she read 2 tacos@$1.99 x2 as 2 tacos. I was filled of 2 tacos, no big deal but she needs to know. Also, the cooks on the grill. Listen up, An $11.00 burger not a meal, should look like the picture does, full of bacon and cheese, fresh not warmed over. Atx11:00 A.M. I stopped in here to grab dinner for the night as we were staying overnight on a road trip. I went through the drive-through and all I can say is professionalism is lacking completely. After I paid, they told me to pull into the parking lot and someone would bring my food out to me and I am a little concerned about hygiene practices here seeing that when she brought my food out to me, she was wearing her gloves still and then wiped her face as she was bringing me my food and wore the gloves to touch the door. It's not that hard to remove gloves when leaving the building as you should be going back in and washing your hands if you are preparing food and have to step away from the line, but I have a feeling that was not the case. Who ever is in charge should definitely have a talk with the employees about proper hand hygiene as well as not treating your customers as an annoyance just for coming through the drive thru. read more

Based on my drive-thru service this mid-morning and speaking from 10 years of working at at restaurants, coffee shops, and fast food places: I recommend this place over the one located on Madison because even though they're the same company this one does better at getting my order right. Same coin, different side--that's granite city for ya. I wouldn't recommend their coffee--it's a step up from McDonalds watered down coffee, but still only as a last resort. Get their Caramel Iced Coffee instead. There were no cars in front of me; From start of order to end, it was a bit slow. They looked short staffed and I understood--most places are like that nowadays because of corona, low wages, or both. I go to Jack-in-the-Box once in a while when we go over to see a friend in St. Louis I like their burgers but the best thing on the menu are their tacos I can't get enough of those when I go I order a bunch so I can bring some home. This place is kind of messy they're not real friendly but I love the food which is the only reason why I keep going back there slow the bathrooms are filthy and it seems like none of the employees care about their jobs I love the tacos so much that I'll continue to go but only for pick up and then I leave I won't sit in the restaurant and eat read more

Employees were rude to me and said "why does everyone have an attitude today" even though I was kind and respectful and she said it directed at me. Jack n the box is the worst! Especially this location. I sent my husband to get me food, he forgot to use coupon at speaker so they told him he COULDNT USE IT UNLESS HE WENT BACK TO SPEAKER I've NEVER HEARD THAT THEY HAVE TO TAKE IT. then he goes back to speaker gets there and realizes there is no ranch for our 6 tacos, orders 2 more and ask for ranch for them all bc he didn't get any and used coupon. By that time our 6 tacos are cold, then dude goes to hand him the food and dropped it all on the ground. Then he gets home and there in NOT ONE RANCH FOR 8 TACOS WHEN HE ASKED TWICE. Was there for about 25 min for all that bs. Then I call and all they keep saying is " I'm not in drive thru sorry" "sorry" "sorry" like do something if your sorry! And change your attitude!!! EDIT: I call and ask can I use coupon and window and they say yes I proceeded to tell the manager what happened and how my food got cold bc they made him pull around and didn't give us any ranch or and all she said is "I can give you some ranch". so bad I wanna give a 0 but I can't so I give it a 1. I ordered a mini taco box a shake and fries they got my shake to me in about 5 minutes I waited about 15 minutes then asked about the rest of my food, the manager on shift said she'd be right on it then waited another about 10 minutes and asked about my food again, she said sorry and she'd be on it soon, then about 5-10 minutes later they handed me my taco box didn't give me any of the sauces or my fries but I left out of frustration. do not eat here, terrible service food is pretty decent though. read more

I will never go to this Jack in the box ever again. We got our order and the fries had old burnt crumbs on it. When I said I didn't want them. I was told that oh they must have not changed the grease last night. So we wait on another order of fries thinking they changed the oil. Nope still had the burnt crap on it. Then another work goes it's the seasoning. When did Jack n the box start using pepper on fries? It's burnt crumbs seasoning. Then they didn't give us our whole order. The service was fine. I had to pull around to wait, but it was like 2 minutes. No big deal. I get my food. This time I went off the value menu and got A buttery Jack. I open the box, it was fresh yes but the entire inside and the sandwich was covered with the buttery sauce. I am pretty sure their is supposed to be some type of sleeve for the sandwich. Amazing service. We aren't from around here, just passing through and we stopped to stretch our legs and eat... while here we asked the floor clerk what groceries stores are around here, specifically fresh seafood markets and she brought her manager out and they helped us out!!! & the food was great... my burger was perfect and the egg rolls freshly made!!! Love it!!! Update: while we were eating, the manager came back out and gave us the address to the market and showed us on his phone how it looks like!!! OMG!!! It's your typical jack in the box. Restaurant is clean, food is good. They seem pretty busy most of the time especially with drive thru. However, my issue is the short supply they have for anything in the dining area. All sodas are out on the coca-cola machine, only water and fruit drinks are still there. Most of the dipping sauces are out, too. They said they're having delivery problems, but do have a supply in the back for drive-thru customers. read more

Okay first of all next time I wait 45 minutes in the drive thru to only find out my fries weren't even crisp or soft they were hard and skeet. My taco as well were not even fully cooked they were pulled up before set time due to the amount of costumers you had which is not acceptable , next you drowned my tacos with sauce that made a disgusting mess on my shirt that cost more then what you make one night . Okay and finally my burger was flooded with cheese literally could not open it unless I put a plate under then it was water with soggy toppings and condiments. And also completely COLD. Not much to say about Jack in the Box, it's your usual greasy fast food but that's to be expected, however what you don't expect is slow service. Seriously it took about 10-15 minutes to order breakfast and even then one of the orders was wrong. read more
