04.13.2025 I needed a burger fix. Went to this Jack in the box on Atlantic Ave. Ordered Jumbo Jack's, tacos and Chicken Sandwich with drinks. No complaints, all is good. All were tasty. I noticed in this place that people just go to jack in the box to use the restroom. I counter 3. Lol Ambiance is good. Not to crowded. Not the greatest of all places, just ok in comfort level. Plenty of parking. The only thing I dislike is the new ordering system. It takes effort to self order vs having an actual cashier taking your order. read more

I cant tell you enough, there is nothing more frustrating than asking for something and never getting it even though im paying for it. I dont know if it is just terrible training or just not caring but they have a simple job to do and it seems they can never do it. I am probably making a mistake in placing my order and asking to take something off of it. Ive probably asked for the same sandwhich for sure over 15 years and they cant ever get it right. I just say without something on it and they cant just seem to not put that item on there. Its not just this Jack N the Box but all of them. Tonight I went and some Mexican boy long kind of hair must have been having a bad day, first he claimed his system was down and they're only taking online orders, so as I was getting ready to place it he decided to take my order, so then that was a lie. I ordered my food and confused a "sourdough jack" for the grilled cheese and for some reason he got upset I ordered the wrong thing so he yells to his co workers saying "PEOPLE DONT KNOW HOW TO ORDER" keep in mind I'm at the window and I heard everything. I placed an online order at 11:53 pm The confirmation stated my order would be ready at 12:03 am I arrived at the drive thru at 12:05 am by the time I got to the cashier it was 12:11am The cashier told me to park upfront and that he would bring my order. I was parked till 12:25 am and when I called the guy that answered said call back later. Idk what they couldn't fulfill my order A teriyaki bowl is microwaved a three piece egg rolls are fried for like 5 minutes and a soda isn't that hard to make? The food is always the same. It's a go to for late night snacks. But the problem I've had is with their service and their bait and switch tactics here, at this particular location. They advertise one price on the drive-thru menu but charge you a different higher price when you get to the window. This is illegal in the state of California and they know it. When you bring it to their attention that they have to accept the advertised price they'll claim they just update the price in their system that day; even though they were doing the same exact thing a week ago. Spoke to the manager, Theresa, but she seems to not care about it either. I have we filed a complaint with the FTC and DCA. read more

First of all, I go to this location consistently to get a Breakfast Jack about 3 to 4 times a week in the morning. I normally use the kiosk. Today, I decided to order a small cup of coffee along with my usual Breakfast Jack, but I was unable to do so on the kiosk, I asked a worker for assistance and her reply was "I don't know". I asked her again and she said that she would take my order which I gave to her. I then looked at my receipt and realize that she charged for a Breakfast Jack Combo and made her aware of it. She said that's what I ordered; I said, " I didn't order a combo because I don't eat hash browns". Then she said, the combo is cheaper, so I got a better deal. I tried to talk to her, but she refused to listen and was even speaking in Spanish to the other Spanish speaking customers about me. Another worker gave me my order and I gave him back the hash brown because I can't eat it. Again, the lady who was arguing with me started speaking Spanish to another customer. Which I didn't appreciated. My point was I didn't order the Breakfast Jack Combo so I shouldn't have been charged for it. The cost for the Breakfast Jack and a small coffee would be $5.88 and the Breakfast Jack Combo was $6.59, these prices are before the taxes are applied which has a difference of .71. It's not the money; it's the principle that she thought that I was so stupid that she could speak to me as she did plus speak to the other customers in Spanish about me. I'm not Mexican but I understood exactly what she said about me. I see this worker regularly and always treated her nicely, I always greet her, thank her and wish her a good day. I'm retired and my background is in sales, so I believe in giving the best customer service to all customers. It's sad that this worker thinks that she is entitled in some way to treat the customer as she did. We all make mistakes but don't insist that I ordered something that I would never order because I can't eat what's in the order. This is my last time going there. . . . . . . I went here for lunch to try the new ribeye burger. The burger patty itself was soft, not super dry and chewy like most of the burgers I've experienced at Jack in the box. It had good texture, the burger could've been more - overall, tasty and flavorful. This is what was missing. For example: the Famous Star has a nice charbroiled taste to it and overall it's a tasty burger. In-N-Out, is a well constructed burger with good sauce and overall it's a tasty burger. This was just missing something. Seasoning, special sauce, something. But I don't need to be a four star Michelin set chef to know what "OK" food taste like. It was a decent burger in general sense, probably better than their usuals, but I was not impressed and they still need to step up their game as far as burgers are concerned. My favorite Jack in the box to go food is still, the tacos, the monsters tacos, the mini tacos, the eggrolls, and the breakfast burritos in general. Ok how do I begin this review. I'll start with pros , basically the food was hot and very tasty . I can't complain about quality because it was better than other jacks! The cons were, this place lacks in good customer service. I arrived and stood standing foe a couple of minutes while a few employees walked around. One came and didn't acknowledge me she just walked away. Then another employee came and said that someone would come in a minute. Then the manager came and took my order. I paid and he walked away and said absolutely nothing. I was like ok, then another employee came to give my my receipt. I was like ok! Then we got our order and no thank you or anything. I arrived to a closed store, now I'm out of a milkshake coupon that was attached to my app, and never got my food along with it. Waste of gas!! Refund? A fast food chain like no other and I love it we tease and call it Jacque in the box.. The other night I tried some chicken egg rolls that my daughter brought by they were so good I didn't realize that they were from Jack in the box the egg rolls were full of flavor crispy and light they didn't need any dipping sauce. What I like about Jack in the box is the variety they constantly update their menu and it's open 24 hours a day. The tacos are grainy but I love those fried tacos and the taco sauce in that packet is so different I enjoy the taste. The fish sandwich is crispy it has lettuce tomatoes and tarter sauce its so good. The French fries are thin and crispy and the curly fries are seasoned so well you don't need ketchup the onion rings are a classic childhood favorite of mine. The burgers I've tried so many but my favorite is a good old Jumbo jack with lettuce tomatoes onions and cheese with secret sauce. The deli ham sandwich with pickles is pretty good but the bread is too chewy. The breakfast menu is awesome I like the croissant breakfast sandwiches all varieties and the breakfast biscuits with eggs and sausage or bacon I've tried them all and each one is pretty good. The shakes are creamy and thick they are now topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The cheesecake is the one item I don't like anymore it has a thick fake taste devoid of flavor or real cream cheese. I stop in a few times a year it's a childhood thing I suppose loving Jack.. But it's my go to spot for quick and tasty food every time. read more

I decided to grab late night jack in the box while doing doing college work, but tell me why I find a straight hair in my drink and pubic hair in my chicken sandwich!!!!
