I ordered and paid for extra marinara for my mozzarella stick, when I only saw one in my bag I went back and asked for the extra 4 I paid for, the lady proceeded to be very condescending telling me I had to pay for them and tried to ring me up for more without even checking my receipt. She kept arguing with me when my receipt clearly showed I paid for 4.

When I order a junior bacon burger maybe they should actually put bacon on it if they charge me for it?

    Am I misunderstanding?

I came to the Jack in the Box store number to take advantage of the deal as pictured. The cashier contacted the manager and told me the deal was only for Mondays and Sundays. It clearly says 2/17- 3/9, the dash ( - ) representing through. I asked if there was someone she could call, and she was adamant about the manager, reiterating I was incorrect. If I am wrong, the signage must be changed to represent that message. Because I and other customers in line with me shared the same understanding. Please respond with the accurate meaning of this signage, Store #523. I feel highly disrespected, as if I were some panhandler begging for a deal when I am just reading clear language.

Well, you don't come to Yelp to review a Jack On the Box. They're all kind of the same. But I took a photo and I'm not gonna let that photo go to waste, so here we go. lol Lol, I just realized I called it Jack On the Box! LMAO. I've heard of Jack in the Crack but that's a new one. First time I went I did the drive through. There was a special $5.99 advertisement on the front window that was really big and I was trying to order that but it took awhile before the staff member and myself got the sandwich name right. It wasn't the normal jumbo Jack it was so other sort of jumbo Jack sandwich. The price total was wrong so we had to figure it out together. I explained that I wanted the special on the window. I said what kind of drink I wanted and then I was asked what kind of drink I wanted. Which is typical, fast food places kinda chaotic so no big deal. So I repeated myself. They ask me if I want small, medium or large. It annoys me that these places do that. I already said I wanted the $5.99 special. I already said what I wanted. Spare me the upsell. Not the staff member's fault, standard script I'm sure. Anyways, food was fine, the typical. A week later I return. I get two tacos. Good deal, yummy. Reasonable amount of parking in lot. Kind of a weird crowd here. This could be anywhere in California, Martinez is a weird fucking place. Especially this part of it. I'll be back, I like a deal. Thank you staff. Appreciate you.

See where it says buttermilk? Why wasn't it in my bag?
    Siupeli M.

I ordered 5 buttermilk to come with my order through the mobile order and when I got home. No buttermilk. Waste of money because it's not worth eating without buttermilk. You can see that ordered it on the receipt so why wasn't it in the bag?

A hot and spicy well don't bread crumbs wrapped around a sliver of chicken
    Jan Y.

I went to the Jack in the Box on Alhambra in Martinez. I ordered three "new" hot and spicy chicken strips and a large order of curly fries to go... this is what I got.... To top it all off the clerk gave me bbq sauce packet... dropped it on the floor.... picked it up and put it in my bag. It happened so fast that I didn't conceptualize what happened it until I got in my car. Luckily it landed on the napkin. When I tried to report it to "corporate" there was NO CONTACT INFO. Save yourselves, there are too many other restaurants to choose from.

    Nuggets~better than McDonald's.

I told her I bought food for 5 people and she said that is the rule she has to follow so she can't give me another bag. I spent over $50 so I don't understand why I couldn't get a few jalapeños. She was also very rude. Even though they wouldn't give me anything to put the jalapeños in I said thank you all, before leaving, to all three of the workers and they just looked at me with discussed and said nothing. I was very polite as I always am at any restaurant or establishment I enter but was treated poorly. I really don't write reviews but these lady's made me feel awful. The food is good and I with many of my coworkers, who work at Contra Costa County Public Health, have eaten here. Those of us who are African American have shared stories of poor treatment. I think enough is enough for me. I won't suggest we have lunch here anymore. It doesn't feel good spending money at a place that isn't welcoming. They never even give a smile to us when we come in no matter how much I smile. Even though I won't be back I hope the owner can make sure black people feel welcome here even if they aren't happy to see us.

The parking lot in front is small. There was one open spot so we grabbed it. I think there may be more parking out back but I don't know for sure. No street parking on Monument so if you strike out in the front lot, check in the back. We walked in and it was fairly crowded at 6:20 n a Saturday night. They seated us right away but it was the last open table - and it wasn't a great table, right by the front door and everyone waiting for take out or a table! But we were happy to be seated. They brought chips and 4 bottles of salsa in squeeze bottles. They were all delicious but one was super spicy so be on the lookout for that! They took our order, brought us water and our beers. All were very good. Then the food came! My 2 favorites were: the taco pork belly (pork belly, cilantro, guacamole and red onion) and the norteno taco (Anaheim pepper, cheese, carne asada, cabbage and onion). $7.25 each. These were out of this world good so be sure to order them. My birria burrito $15.75 was huge and delicious. I brought most of it home. We saw some families and couples here. Great table service. Super clean. We were able to see them cook in the open kitchen concept. Can't wait to go back!

We loved their red spicy sauce and super crunchy fresh curtido. They are packed into small zip lock bags. I forgot to take photos since I was hungry. The staff seems kind, efficient & welcoming. My mother turned 80 & on her birthday she only wanted food to go from here. Specifically, Suiza chicken enchiladas. My husband loved his burrito, said their mole sauce was different than he has ever had. He ate it all, so I'm guessing still great! My flautas were pretty, one corn colored, one red & one green. We placed a very simple order, a single super Asada burrito with extra cheese and grilled onions. It is a regular order, and as we have gotten older, one is enough to split. We received the normal 15 minute estimate. I arrived and the place was oddly empty. I walked up to the pickup counter, and was told it would be a couple of minutes. The normal crowd began to grow, and after check 3 times and 35 minutes later, I was called up, I got my burrito, and left. It became clear that they either forgot, lost, or handed my burrito to someone else, but the staff made me feel awkward for asking about an order that was taking 4x the estimate. And what a mess of a burrito. It was extremely greasy to the point that I had to wipe it down with a napkin. It actually left a puddle of oil on my plate. The extra cheese was one solid block in the middle and grilled onions were practically raw. It was one of the worst burritos. The meat was good, but there was no care taken in the preparation of the burrito. I used to tell people how good this place was. I don't think I could do that again with a clear conscience. The staff was disorganized, rude, and the quality of food has vanished.
