Haven't had a Togo' Sandwich since before Covid wiped out many of the quick-serve eateries. The company brand and logo has changed, but the quality is still outstanding. Unfortunately, Togo's hasn't expanded outside of the Pacific Time Zone, a significant loss in potential quick-serve growth opportunities, I will have to wait for another opportunity to return to the San Francisco Bay Area before I can enjoy another great childhood memories of eating at Togo's again. My name: Steve My Experience with Togo's was unexpected. I had purchased $65 dollars worth of Sandwich's especially the New BBQ sandwich's. I wasn't pleased with reasons being is that the meat was cheap and not tasty at all including the sauce. Not only that what the meat looked like as if it wasn't real meat upon how it was layered upon its pre sliceing from what ever company it's purchased from for a cheaper price. Not only that how how the sandwich's are advertised on the Togo's brochures and T.V. advertising is very Deceptive by its advertising department and Corporate Deception as well to the Consumer or customers. I made a call to talk with the manager Sam at the restaurant in Martinez what was told to me is that all there meats and condiments on each sandwich are weighed behind the counter before preparing not by advertising marketing so as what the customer see would not be the same as advertised. Also upon picking the size of bread whether small or large not look as advertised as well manipulating the size because when you hold the sandwich in your hands to take byte out the meat and condiments seems to slide out the sandwich and has not solid mass as if air is coming out a balloon going flat like peeda bread as of the dough of the bread was manipulated from manufacture processing.. If you notice upon going into the Togo restaurant you noticed that the counter top are high up so that you can't see how the meats and condiments is being weighed and how it's being prepared. I also was told by Sam the manager at my community store location in Martinez California location that upon the cost of labor and the pandemic it was decided that the food being sold was restructed so it can be more profitable but being advertised on the Togo's brochures or tv advertising being of corporate restructure hidden from the customers because if was high lighted the would lose customers and no profits.. TOGOs 9" Hot pastrami is the way to go for him. The other sandwichs are appealing too and we have tried some of them. They make the sandwiches on fresh fluffy bread, not like subway, and load it with meat and all the fixings. They dont have fancy names or special sauces just your basics. I've been to some of the surrounding stores and this location and the one on Clayton make the best wraps I have them add the spicy pepitas dressing for a little kick and add avocado.
