A SOLID EMERGENCY JACK! Picture this, I forgot breakfast and was heading out of town for an important discourse. I was super hungry and out came this Jack near the freeway. I told my Dad to pull into the drive-thru and this was a lifesaver. I ordered my sourdough jack combo with a large orange juice and was ready to hit the road. Unfortunately, the dude at the window forgot part of our meals and one of our drinks. We mostly check the bags after leaving a drive-thru to verify we received all of our items. So it was a little irritating having to get out of the car and go inside to obtain our missing items. The staff whipped out our food quickly, but I was on a time crunch so this delay made me nervous. My Dad said the staff were nice inside. The drive-thru and restaurant seemed tame, nothing shady going on as far as I can tell. The ambiance was neutral. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Burger because, call me crazy, I was expecting a Philly cheesesteak... on a burger. Instead, I paid $15 for what appears to be a cheeseburger that gave up on life sometime around lunch. No peppers. No onions. No Philly. Just a hockey puck of a beef patty with a slice of cheese trying its best to cover the evidence. The meat was so hard I briefly considered checking if it was part of Jack's new "jaw workout" menu. I think archaeologists could carbon-date this patty. For fifteen bucks I expected something that at least resembled the picture. What I got looked like someone scraped together the last surviving ingredients from the warming tray and called it a day. Jack in the Box, if you're going to charge premium prices, at least include the ingredients that are literally in the name of the sandwich. At this point, you should complain directly to corporate because they're not even putting receipts in the bag or asking you if you want to receipt because they know you're gonna complain. It's not going to improve otherwise. I would say don't come here at night, night crew is slow. but it's one of the only places to eat for Miles. And they take advantage of that fact. At least the management is responding to the reviews. But, If they're short staffed, that means management has to come in and cover a shift. That's what real leaders do. It shouldn't take this long to fix staffing problems. It still takes 30 minutes to get in and out of the line. Please make a genuine effort to address these problems so we can have the same great experience at this Jack-in-the-Box that we're used to getting But at least they didn't get my order wrong in the food was hot. Night shift crew here is unprofessional and took 30 minutes to get my chicken strips. Picked up some chicken strips 5 pc for $10 and it seems as if night shift cuts customers short on their food so they could take food home it seems. These aren't strips, they are chopped nuggets for $10! Ridiculous, they need professional staff here a bunch of high schoolers probably work here in the night shift. I am going to be as honest as possible with this review. This place has great customer service and a friendly staff. But every time I get something here it tastes horrible and takes a long time. If they could make the food standard quality, not even great, just ok and with decent speed then this would just be another Jack in the box with some nice people working there. Very rude customer service! Went through the drive thru a bit ago and there's literally no signs anywhere talking about charging for sauces. They're so stingy and only gave 2 sauces for egg rolls and 1 for onion rings. I asked for a couple more sauces and was told they had to charge me. Decided to stop here on my way to work and I'm so glad I did! Their service is amazing, and everything you would want in good service; fast, effective, and efficient. The beautiful, tall, brunette girl Kimberly made my whole experience worthwhile. I haven't tried any Jack in the Box coffees before and she had some amazing recommendations, especially since I'm very picky with my coffee to say the least. I got a vanilla sweet cream iced coffee. She also recommended a delicious breakfast choice which was the breakfast platter with sausage and a round egg. I really enjoyed my experience here, the food was delicious and hot.
