Went to drive through. Ordered a small drink, it was priced higher than the menu. I say something, the guy says "oh really? I don't think so." I confirm it's listed for $.10 less than what they charged. He says ok we'll give you $.10 credit to even out charge. There is a line of cars that made it look pretty popular. The food here is ok. I might have chosen poorly, but the burger I had was a bit of a gut bomb. Way too greasy. Today however when I walked in to avoid the long Drive-thru line: no one working cashier, line employees just give a blank stare, zero acknowledgement. 5 mins later a woman comes out, same blank look, walks to register with a blank confused look (I'm waiting for a greeting), stands at register & asks "wanna order?". Why of course! Or why am I standing around??? She proceeds to take order attitudially, no use of words and walks away. A smile and a "how can I help you?" I was craving a Burger and I actually had a Buy one get one Free Coupon for Jack in the Box. Pro Tip- Ballers on a Budget Use Coupons So I rolled to this Jack in the Box . They have a Huge parking lot . So I had no problem finding parking . I rolled in and ordered their new Double Jack Combo - It comes with a Double Jack with Cheese , Small Fries and a Small soda but refillable . I presented the Coupon and at first the Cashier didn't want to accept it . But I asked to speak to her manager and she entered it and accepted it . I also presented her with a Validated Jack in the Box Receipt for 2 free Tacos which she then rolled her eyes and entered . LoL . I then paid by Credit Card and received my receipt . I received my order fairly fast . In about 10 minutes . I was told there is a time limit in the Dining room of 30 minutes that starts when you receive your order. This Jack in the Box is in the Hood so I had an Interesting People watching experience while I was dining. I'm eating and a guy enters and gets in line . He looked pretty skinny but he was wearing possibly a 3 X or 4 X shirt it looked like a tent . Then I found out why he was wearing a shirt like that . Slow service at drive through on 4/19/23 around 12:30 pm. I ordered the Southwest Salad and the lettuce didn't fill the bowl and toppings were sparse. Totally over priced for what was given. Very disappointing. If I had gone in the restaurant I would not have accepted this very poor salad. It was not worth my time and gas to drive back to the restaurant to return it. Let me tell you i have had numerous run ins with this location. They are always missing something in my order. First time i ordered i was missing tacos. Second time i did a online order where they were missing my tacos yet again and no sauces and condiments saying it was because of covid! How does that make sense? Im not gonna drive out there to pick up 2 tacos and a bunch of sauces. Third time i ordered a stackburger munchies meal and got no meat patty in my burger. This was at 1am and i have vision impairment so i cant get there and there is not a immediate fix on the jack in the box app. I finally reached them and they said they were gonna send me 3 meal vouchers but i never got it. Hello, I had a horrible experience last night at your local location near me in Oakland California on 532 Hegenberger Rd Oakland, CA 94621. I order a sourdough jack with no mayo no bacon no ketchup and I didn't receive that at ALL! Sadly I wasn't in my own vehicle to come straight back so I had to go all the way home and be bright back to request a refund. When I arrived back there was a long line so I waited 30 minutes to reach the cashier. Then when I told her what happened she told me she couldn't give me a refund. However, I have experience over a dozen visits where the drive thru was closed. They even had their green dumpster blocking the drive thru entrance. Worst JITB I have ever been to. Went to get some burgers and tacos, while in the drive through noted a huge pile of boxes out the back door. Didn't think much of it initially, except I was surprised to see such a mess, then I noticed rats running between the boxes and the nearest trash can. The lid was off and trash was everywhere across the lot. As I progressed through the drive through, you could see through the window that the paint was peeling and there was a lot of grease staining the place. The owner of this franchise should be ashamed. I grew up on JITB. Alameda had JITB way before McDonalds was in town. We had a JITB in Burbank where we lived before coming back to the Bay and it was always nice and clean. Every time I drive by this place it's thrashed. This location made me never want to go to any JITB again. Update: So Florencio, a JITB rep, calls me and says they are going to address my complaints and wants to know if I'm satisfied. I asked specifically which complaint, he responded "the one you wrote about". So I asked if they were taking care of the rats and trash, he responds "uh yeah". You would think no one at the ordering intercom would be enough for cars to conclude this place was not open for business. But it so happened that upon arrival a woman in a van was trying to get us to roll down our windows who I thought was just strange along with the rest of the roamers in this area. Found out later that she was probably letting us know this place was closed when we drove up to a garbage bin blocking the drive through. An event at the collesium brought us here. The establishment we are staying in is across the street so we watched the other "fooled" late night eaters drive through until morning. Question is, how did they get through with the garbage bin blocking? This place deserves no stars, but needed to share incase anyone is in the area.
