It has everything to do with poor job training and/or poor teamwork I only had 1 car in front of me and it did take more time than average BUT the customer service was excellent. Commuting from San Francisco after work for most Warrior games, we ponder our dining options mostly while in the City, but sometimes time doesn't allow us this option. There is a relatively large variety of fast food choices on or around Hegenberger Road. Our go-to has been In & Out, but their menu doesn't give many choices. What Jack offers is a build your own tasting menu where you can jump from rice bowls to breakfast meals to chicken sandwiches to tacos at a blink of an eye. My 'usual' is a spicy chicken sandwich, curly fries, and tacos with a fountain drink; this totals less than $10.00, a bargain considering my water or soda alone is $5.00 or $6.00 in the arena. Since we usually visit more than an hour before tipoff, the lines are relatively short. The drawbacks are that you might meet a parking lot panhandler and exiting said lot can be challenging with cars zooming up Hegenberger off the freeway;balso, coming on a recent Lent Friday, I couldn't find anything on the menu so we ended up at the golden arch place. I understand that this establishment is near the coliseum and that it may get busy when there are events there, but that isn't a valid excuse for their lacking of care for their customers' orders. Disinterested employees, flies buzzing around the lobby, the only thing that makes it bearable is that it's by the coliseum so it's a cheap place to eat pre game. The food was ok. This Jack in the box is a high volume location due to its proximity next to the Oracle Arena. However it's employees are not trained well enough to meet the customers orders accurately and in a timely manner. The dine in area is NOT maintain, nor the parking lot and or restroom. This location also needs security to ward off the panhandling that occurs in the parking lot and drive-thru areas. The only positive thing, is the food is reasonably priced and good for fast food. read more

Looking at previous posts, I see that this restaurant has major problems in their service. We went through their drive thru at 11:23 pm and it took 35 minutes to just order. After we paid for the meal, my husband complained about the wait time. The short man at the window tried to grab the bag back. He said we could go somewhere else if we did not like the wait.
