I rarely leave reviews, but today's experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to write one. The food was fine, but the customer service was not. From the moment I placed my order, the staff seemed uninterested in helping customers. There was no greeting, no smile, and no sense of hospitality. After eating, I asked for a coffee refill. The restaurant was not busy, and there were several employees working. When I requested the refill, an employee simply took my cup, filled it, handed it back, and said absolutely nothing. No "of course," no "thank you," no "you're welcome"--not a single word. At one point, I spoke to the staff in both English and Spanish because I wondered if there might be a language barrier. The response was exactly the same in both languages: silence. The only time I heard the employees speaking was when they were talking to each other, which made the lack of acknowledgment feel intentional rather than accidental. The restroom was also messy, with paper on the floor and no toilet seat covers available. I understand that employees can be stressed during busy rush periods, but that was not the situation today. The restaurant was not crowded, and there was no obvious reason for such poor customer service. I don't expect over-the-top friendliness, but basic courtesy costs nothing. A simple "thank you," "you're welcome," or even a smile takes less than a second and can completely change a customer's experience. I am so ashamed. -The "nuggets"- The first thing that hit me with these fellas was the unique smell. It was almost like pancake syrup, sickly sweet. The next thing that I noticed was that one of the nuggets was a little person while yet another was missing part of it's breading....... yummy. I go to those Jack-in-the-Box every day for lunch and given mine. I only have 30 minutes on my lunch I get to the speaker the girl taking my order was really rude rushing me to order kept cutting me off and once I get to the window she takes my card charges me And then this guy gives me my food and I look in the bag and my order is messed up and I tell the guy I'm missing an item and he says oh you weren't charge for it and I specifically said well I had told her to add it when I was taking my order and then as the window is closing, the girl makes a comment to the guy saying that I apparently never told her that I wanted that item, so not only did she rush me. WOW, what a horrible experience. I ordered a havarti burger with no onions in the drivethru and of course got my order wrong. I drove back and went in the restaurant and calmly told them the issue. The asst manager said she would get me another only after i asked for a new burger because all the employees were putting their hands on mine to see what was wrong. The asst manager threw my old burger in the trash and asked the cook to make a new one. Heres where it gets interesting!!! The cook actually went in the trash and dug out the old burger... i dont know what her intentions were but she didnt realize I was watching her.
