I ordered two Munchie Meals through Uber Eats and was beyond disappointed. Jack's Spicy Chicken was awful -- the chicken was dry, hidden under a thick, burnt layer of breading. It was completely inedible, like chewing on a piece of cardboard. The curly fries were stale, soggy, and far from fresh or crispy. The tacos were even worse -- some mystery meat substitute that didn't taste like actual meat at all. It was more like a processed mush. I really regret not reading Yelp reviews beforehand. Coming into an a place to eat or any establishment you would assume management would be up to par a greet you as management would expect their employees to greet customers with great customer service. Horrific experience on 1/24/26 at approximately 7:40PM. I had an emergency and dire need to use restroom and asked to be let in at which time the mid aged female employee said I needed to purchase something. I kindly said I would, please open the restroom door and I will when I come out and no matter my urgency she would not let me in until I made purchase. So I did and almost had an accident in which she would have cleaned up. I left her with my change until I came out, took my change, left the empty cup and stayed I would pray her to be more kind. Do not eat here. Service was horrible. There was 1 person in front of us. Waited over 15 minutes. I decided to order on the kiosk, food took about 10 to 15 minutes, egg rolls and a burger combo. No sauce for the egg rolls, no cup for the drink. That took another 5 minutes. The egg rolls were dripping in oil. I've never experienced this before. Totally a bad experience. Over 30 minutes just trying to order and get our food. We were driving back to California from Arizona. Total disappointment. The gentleman in front of us got his order wrong. We pulled in at 7:48 to go through drive thru, but my 60 year old Mom needed to use bathroom and the woman about 60 made her buy something before she would unlock the bathroom for my Mom to go. The girl behind the counter was too involved in a conversation with the cook about her boyfriends DNA test on his ex girlfriend's kid to make my on w burrito and two had browns. Especially when someone's ordering a freakin salad from a drive through the least you could do is give them the dressing they asked for. Place has pretty much always been a joke , soda machine is out of 60% of the options and it did not seem like anyone had any intentions to fix it . If you go inside and order like I did you will most likely be ignored for the first 5 minutes or so while they take care of the drive through . This fast food restaurant is the slowest restaurant ever known to the fast AND slow restaurant world. It took 30 minutes to get our food and the guy at the front kept messing up the order. I hate to be mean but the cashier really did not know what he was doing and was getting flustered having to take orders that were walking as well as drive-through. The woman in the back was supposed to be helping him and was just standing there staring at him. We left there without two orders of our Crisscut fries! My husband and I went to Cook St location On Sept 16th, we went in the drive and ordered 4 burgers and 1 large fry. Told to pull up to the 2nd window, we paid, and immediately after payment, the lady told us to pull out, and she would bring the food out. (Also, no recipt was handed out) we stayed waiting for a good 20 mins, and during that time, I saw a truck waiting in the drive for a while. Thought it was weird, so I walked inside, and sure enough, my food was sitting there on the cold counter. No apologies or anything. I take the food we start driving and eating (we live an hr away, we were visiting family in hospital) halfway through the drive my husband bun is burnt black, the fries are cold and stale, husband takes couples bites from 2nd sandwich spits it out. I ate both mines, but as soon as I got home, I threw it up. I called the next day and asked for a refund. Hector, the manager says well without a receipt, I can't do anything. Well, your employee rushed me out the drive and didn't hand one out. So basically, there is no refund, and the only thing offered (after I called again and again waiting on the district manager) is a gift card/ coupon. The last thing I wanted was to eat there again. The food came sloppy just like the attitude of the lady with the mole on her face. She let me know that there are no cupholders left, keep in mind my car has only one cup holder and I ordered two large drinks. When she realize my car actually had one cupholder she was able to reverse the fact that she said "we have no cupholders" then tell me she doesn't know if they have any in the back because someone took them all but then ended up coming out with a cup holder for me. This is what I call a lazy worker. You guys need to change the water filters on the fountain drink machine. The Sprite I got in the drive-thru tasted nasty, the Hi-C I also got didn't taste too good either. It had a metallic and hard water taste, bottom line: NOT GOOD. The tacos that I got didn't really shine either, today was a real let down since I usually get good food from you guys. I went to this location on November 7th at 6:50pm. I have to tell you this was the worse experience i have ever had. The drive through teller got my order wrong and I had to explain it several times. When u got to the window the food was terrible. Jack n the box is usually consistent at all restaurants but this location is terrible. The tacos tasted like burnt oil and the spicy chicken sandwich was disgusting, chicken patty burnt. I have eating at Jack's several times and this location's food was horrible. What a superb experience at this Jack in the Box! Friendly greeting, great explanation of menu items. Food prepared exactly per our order and was brought to our table. How nice is that? Sure, there were only a handful of other tables, but that's a nice personal touch that's unexpected at a fast food restaurant. The staff also seemed very friendly - smiley, chatty.
