Good experience here. It was a fast food breaky kind of weekend and we hit this Jack on Saturday AM.. I was torn over what breakfast sandwich to order and the person taking my order suggested the best way to get what I wanted for the best price. I thought I was on candid camera for a second, but I ordered it and I was a happy camper... never did see a camera! Good experience and I liked my sausage breakfast jack. I was too scared to try the iced tea, though and went with the Diet Coke. Clean location and friendly staff. Recommend for fast food in the area. read more

I love ordering from the Kiosk, nice to see all the different things you can order and customize on your order. My burgers looked great, came out quick but seemed to be lacking in flavor. I placed my order at the drive-thru then drove up to the window, i gave the girl a $100 Bill......she then called over the supervisor and he said they did NOT have enough change to break my large bill because they we're slow.....are you F*cking kidding me? This is Nonsense......i was either lied to or the store is performing so badly they didn't have enough money to give me change. I ended up cancelling my order, then went to Ampm where the lady happily accepted my $100 Bill. read more

I went to Jack In The Box on my lunch and was given my food, which was great! The food was hot and fresh but while I was eating I could here this man yelling. When I looked the Manager Luciano was yelling at one of his employees in the most unprofessional way! This manager is highly disrespectful because he got in his employees face, (who was this little girl compared to the manager) and started to yell at her. If this is the type of managers Jack In The Box wants to hire I don't want to eat there anymore. As a manager you should know how to handle situations in a more professional and respectful manner. We went to the drive thru at the Cook St. location in Palm Desert on June 30th and after eating my first taco, I looked down at my plate to get my second taco and I noticed to my horror, a used latex food stained glove on my plate that had fallen out of the first taco sleeve! I was so disgusted and could not finish the rest of my tacos, ruining my dinner. We immediately called the restaurant and she said they would have someone call us back the next day. I did not get a call back and after many, many calls to the restaurant and an e mail to the corporate office since it is impossible to call them, still NO response. The e mail site says "Jack listens" but since I have been ignored for almost a month, clearly Jack does NOT care about his customers! 1 star for drive-through experience; This place must be managed completely different at night I repeated the order to the girl at the window two times tonight and still didn't get it right you need to have more experienced people at the drive-thru while assisting customers and being attentive to their requests, I gave you two stars because the only positive extra story that you get was the quality of the food. I ordered 24 tacos and some other items. When I got home I found they shorted my order by 7 tacos. When I went back 20 minutes later to have them correct the problem, they told me "to bad". They won't replace the missing tacos, BUT I can buy 7 more if I want them. The girl was, rude, unapologetic, unprofessional. She even went to the point of calling my wife and I liars. I asked for the regional managers phone number to file a complaint. She felt for a few minutes and returned with the store mangers name and and number a piece of paper then slammed the window shut. My 4 year old is very picky or in other words he knows what he likes and oh boy does he like Jack in the Box. The French Fries are always newly made, the Chicken Teriyaki bowl is one of the healthier options, and the tacos are a clastic. It gets very busy during lunch time but the staff works quick. Jack in the Box is what it is, fast food, for people on the go. I've been to this particular restaurant about half a dozen times, all with positive experiences. I'm always dealing with the morning crew and picking up a bite of breakfast food to pair with my Starbucks Coffee (There's a Starbucks located within spitting distance). I generally order the sausage and egg sandwich served on a biscuit. What I like about this sandwich (aside from it being tasty) is the components seem to be cooked to order. My food always comes out hot and seems relatively fresh. Additionally, the restaurant seems newer, is clean and the service is good. read more

I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken strips with a coke. Problem 1. I was given a Diet Coke. 2. No straw which sucks when you are driving. I asked for ranch for the strips only to find none in the bag. BTW the chicken strips are gross. He tacos were also gross. I know I shouldn't expect much from 99 cent tacos but they were just plain terrible. I ordered curly fries and asked for ketchup. But once again no ketchup in my bag. I'm reading all of these bad Yelp reviews of the drive-thru line; I always order inside so I don't know about drive-thru. Well ordering inside is really easy; never a long line during peak lunch times. Customer service is great. Food looks and tastes great also. I order from the breakfast menu, which is all-day. Mini churros are really good too. Only bad thing about this Jack-in-the-Box is that I tend to see lots of dirty tables inside the restaurant; not super dirty but you can tell people were sitting there, and people clean up after themselves, but you can tell no one wipes down the table with a wet cloth. Bathrooms look dark and dirty; most of the time, they run out paper towels to dry my hand. read more

I would give 0 stars, but that is not an option on YELP. I normally love Jack in the Box when I choose fast food. Yet, this particular location gave me the worst fast food service in the history of my life. We walked into the restaurant and it was empty of guests. We placed an order and sat down. A few minutes later another guest came in and placed an order. Another 5 minutes later another guest came in and sat down. We were still waiting for our food when they served the 2nd guest. Another 5 minutes passed and they served the 3rd guest and we were still waiting. We stood up, went to the counter and asked where our order was, and they objected the drive through line was busy and sorry they had not gotten to our order yet. They then said we were waiting for the french fries that were not ready yet. They then proceeded to serve us a few minutes later. Our wait time was 15-20 minutes. The fries were obviously not fresh (even though they stated the reason our order was late they were waiting for french fries to cook, yet our fries were cold and soggy. When we complained as we were leaving, they did not even bother to try and make it right. Again, they complained it was busy and made excuses. (I never thought 3 sets of guests and 2 cars through a 20 minute period was considered busy for a fast food restaurant) In fact, as we were driving away all three workers at the counter were laughing. Terrible service provided by Drive Thru staff and Tanya. First off they gave us 2 buttery jack combos instead of what ordered which was 2 Jacks Blazing chicken sandwiches. How do you get beef and chicken confused? When we approached the window we were given the bag with 1 fry and 1 curly fry. We asked if we can get our 2nd curly fry like we had originally ordered . We have been to many Jack In The Box locations over the years, at home in Washington State and in our travels, and this one totally blew us away! Just amazing service and food quality. I don't like the fact they are timed on drive thru. Fast food is fast enough. Why make the workers rush and feel more stressed than they already are? If I could give this Jack In The Box negative stars I would. Went there for lunch and should have walk out as soon as the person in front of me said its taking 25 minutes for his food. But ordered any way. The employee took my cash and he needed change. He literally left the drawer open with cash in view to get change. I waited 20 minutes for my food and noticed people ordering after me were getting their food. Went and asked the employee where my food was and he was finishing up giving another customer change. He said oh ya you had tacos, he literally left the cash register after touching money went to the bag where the tacos were and put them in the fryer. No gloves were used, nor did he wash his hands . I said there is no way I am eating those tacos after you just touched money. Other people in line noticed and made comments. I am not a food expert but I am sure this violated every food code violation. In my opinion this is a horrible Jack in the Box and I will not be dining here ever!!! Management needs to hire more than three people to run a business especially a fast food business. read more
