    So-called "enchiladas"

Do not eat here. My wife ordered enchiladas and, after her order was botched twice, these photos show the catastrophe we were served and charged $16 for. Unseasoned, boiled-looking chicken slopped into soggy, minitaure tortillas that looked like they came from a microwave. Beyond disgusting. When we called to report the issue, the restaurant's manager whined that we had hurt his feelings and tried to blame the hostess. The worst elementary school cafeteria in existence offers better food and service.

This is a restaurant I've been wanting to try but every time I go there is always a wait, so we were excited to finally try it. We went in when they opened, so there was no wait at all. It is a beautiful decorated restaurant with an outside patio and the service is wonderful, very friendly. They deserve five stars. ...BUT... THE FOOD... TERRIBLE!! I am sorry I do not know who they're catering to but as a Hispanic, this is just a NO. They either need a new chef and seriously need to expand their menu and change up the entire thing. Respectfully. For drinks we ordered chavelas. Small, and I could've made a better one at home. Food: They bring out a warm salsa and chips. The salsa tastes like tomato soup. I ordered the Baja fish tacos. Look at my pictures. It was a tilapia flaked on a cold tortilla with an over abundance of lettuce. Then they bring out a supposedly spicy green salsa absolutely not. I had to ask for Tapatio. My husband ordered the steak tacos. Which tasted like yesterday's rewarmed meat. On the plate was a cup of spicy mayo? Pico de gallo and a great guac, (I will give them that). And over salted beans. Presentation was horrible, and the food was just a waste of $65. I don't think I've ever had such BAD Mexican food, this is the one time that I need to tell people if you want real authentic Mexican food PLEASE go elsewhere and Guillermos please switch up the menu and cater to people with taste buds. Complete waste of money!!!

The service here is top notch. Such great and attentive staff and they were so kind to my little one while visiting. Menu is vast with all of your favorite Mexican dishes and drink. Margaritas were large and strong. I got the enchiladas which were tasty, the portion felt a little small to me but I ate through 3 baskets of chips and salsa and had no complaints. Highly recommend for a date night or with a large group.

    Chili relleno very good

The food is not authentic Mexican food. We went during happy hour, we had 2 margaritas, the food was cold, greasy and lacked flavor.

Happy hour on el Paseo dr?

We asked about this a few months ago & the waiter told us they have one but you must be at or in the bar to take part. They are known for an enormous tequila selection. I have not tried the happy hour so I don't know details.

This place hit the bar on all three of those pillars. We sat outside and a few of us ordered the margarita flight, while a few others ordered other cocktails. They were all really enjoyable and well balanced. We asked our server for his favorite thing on the menu and he suggested the steak plate and one other dish. The next person who came to our table also suggested the steak plate and ahi taco. 3-4 of us ended up ordering the steak plate, one ordered the quesabirria tacos. The elotes street corn was absolutely delicious. The sour cream on top just really sent it over the edge, the best I've ever had. Their flan was also exceptional. I'm not typically a fan of flan, but this one was really good. Top notch! Everyone absolutely loved their dish. The steak plate was absolutely wonderful. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled onion was so good. The guacamole was flavorful, and it all went really nicely with the tortillas and other accoutrements. We had a great time and enjoyed amazing food. Highly, highly recommend. Pretty much all the girls agreed at the end of the weekend that this had been our favorite spot.

This review is more about the maintenance and conditions of the parklet seating area. My friends and I visited on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. It wasn't peak season and it was about 100°F outside. Since we didn't have reservations, we were told we could only be seated in the outdoor parklet area. Another group of six arrived shortly after us and was visibly upset about the same situation and ultimately left, but we decided to stay and give it a try. Unfortunately, the parklet itself felt unsafe. My heel got stuck between the floorboards and several sections of the flooring were lifted. I nearly fell but caught myself by landing on an empty chair. The staff were very kind and helped me remove my shoe, which I appreciated. However, the outdoor setup made the dining experience very uncomfortable. We were constantly dealing with flies around our food, and no fans or coverings were provided to help with the heat or food exposure. Additionally there was a piece of hair on my friend's nachos. It was difficult to enjoy the meal in those conditions. As for the food, we ordered nachos and a carne asada plate with drinks, and while the food itself was good, the environment made it hard to enjoy it fully. The bill came out to nearly $150, and given the conditions, it felt disappointing. I would strongly recommend management: * Address the unsafe and uneven parklet flooring * Improve outdoor dining comfort (fans, pest control, etc.) * Allow indoor seating when space is available, especially in extreme heat The staff and food were great, but the dining environment needs attention to match the price point and quality of the kitchen.
