Haven't been to a jack in the box in a while since I currently live on the east coast. I really wish they would expand further out. It was nice to find them in Denver. The port-a-potty outside in the parking lot describes this place. Pull up to the restaurant and there's a couple teenagers smoking a bong outside. Go inside and the place is filthy and dark. Many of the lights seemed burnt out and there were no clean tables. The cashier turns out was friends with the bong smoking teenagers outside as he was hanging out with them and hooking them up with free food when they came in, not paying any attention to customers. Finally got our food and it was cold, especially the fries, and probably the worst quality fast food I've ever had. This was worse than McDonald's food. I used to enjoy picking up food from Jack In the Box but today I found something so appauling in the meal I ordered that I will never return there again. I ordered two tacos and chicken nuggets which by the way the chicken nuggets tasted really old and stale. In one of the tacos I had, I found an extremely long light-brown string of hair. We stopped in tonight for tacos and a chocolate shake. We didn't think they were open, since all of the exterior lights were off at 7 pm. As we were waiting in line, the cashier told a customer that he was out of chocolate shake mix, so we left. My husband says this happens about 50% of the time when he orders a shake! Where to start....stoked to find a jack in the box as we loved it on texas. Ordered sourdough jack sandwiches and they came completely cold and without cheese. The place was empty at 3pm on a Friday and we sat for 10 waiting for our food. We could see it sitting on the work counter as they chit chatted in the back. My son reminded them of our food. When they brought it out it was covered in mayo and the buns and wrappers has catsup smeared on them. They chicken sandwich tasted like old grease and soggy. I could not eat it. I've given 3 fair tries....disappointed every time. The burgers are bland and gray and the fries aren't ever hot. The drive thru folks have ALWAYS (all 3 visits) managed to leave something out of the bag (1st visit- no sweet & sour with the egg rolls, 2nd visit- no straws for the drinks, 3rd and LAST visit- no napkins). The food is ok. The staff is a complete mess. Bunch of young kids goofing off. Several times I've had my order wrong, mainly because the young cashier was distracted by his friends sitting in the booths. They were shouting at each other while we were trying to place our order. After going to the one down the street and finding it closed even though it says open 24 hours, I came here. I saw a big truck parked there, so I was optimistic when rolling up. I came during the lunch hour and found the inside service exceptional. I think her name is Shing, who was courteous and professional. She upgraded my order as a way of making up for the delay, which was not really unreasonable. My two stars are for the service and not the food. I had a spicy chicken sandwich that had way to much mayonnaise on it. If it were not for the lettuce and tomato I wouldn't if had a sandwich because the chicken was overcooked to the point that it shrunk and was millimeters in height, just enough to give it chicken flavor. What fast-food place have you ever gone to, has a fireplace inside their clean restaurant? AND, what about the condiment station--all you can eat buttermilk ranch?? Came in only 1 other customer waiting for food, I ordered mine went to get drink 80% of drinks were out, after that went looking for table took me a few minutes to find the cleanest as they were all dirty, trash all over floor, once I got my food I was only customer in there instead of taking time to clean place up all 5 employees went and sat at a table being loud and using foul language, a couple employees even went and sat in there cars. I don't think I will ever come back to this location. May even contact corporate, very very sad place read more

They are getting much better about my orders and like I said I would post when they got it right. Well the last 4 visits have been correct. Eat here only as a last resort! Went there about two years ago, and the place was dirty, food was extremely greasy and cold (it took almost 40 minutes to get our food). I complained on the restaurant's website. The response I received was that the store was under new management and things were going to change. We were there again very recently, and things were in even poorer shape than ever! The floors looked as if they had not been mopped in YEARS, the trash receptacles were in worse shape than before, and all of the tabletops and windows were dirty. Employees who were not covering food prep or drive-thru were standing around playing with their cell phones or playing outside. We were there at about 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday so the "lunch rush" was over. The food arrived after about 15 minutes of waiting. It was barely warm. There is another Jack In The Box across town, and it is a little better. It is cleaner, and the service beats the Pikes Peak Dr. location hands down (more what you would expect for a fast-food joint). read more

Got over charged and when I went to the counter for a refund the manager stood there and talked to a friend completely ignoring me for about 5 minutes. When I finally said excuse me he said "sorry I thought you were waiting for your food." Maybe next time you have a customer standing by the counter ask them if they need anything instead of blatantly staring and assuming they're waiting for their food. I have gone to this location on several occasions and there is typically something shorted in the order. Examples cheese, other meats ect. Yet, you pay for that. If I could rate it less I would. Time from ordering to receiving a simple meal in the drive through was 18 minutes. Totally unacceptable. I even called them on my cell and their answer was "we are short staffed today and I can make burgers or talk to you on the phone."
