This location has re-opened after the remodel and thus is less run-down. Review based only on Drive-Thru experience. I used past points earned to get 3 free Breakfast Jacks (1 ham, 1 bacon, 1 sausage) through the mobile app and it worked to place in 3 separate orders and pick up all 3 at once. Only 1 free reward item is allowed per order, but you can put in multiple orders one after another (unlike McDonald's which has a time limit requirement before you're allowed to reorder.) I combined all 3 breakfast sandwiches into a single sandwich (threw away 4 slices of bread) and all the ingredients were kinda thin and flat, but hey they were rewards from the JIB mobile app. Speed could be more prompt but other than that + crappy flat food as expected, no other issues. Staff was polite and nice. read more

I use to love coming here late or during overnight hours for the last few years... until recently. There seems to be a whole new overnight crew. No biggie. I was always chill coming to the window and attempted to build good rapport. I'm posting this because one of the guys has been lying about some items being "discontinued" for, what I'm assuming, is because someone in the kitchen or even he does not want to make it. I can get some stuff just fine during dayside hours. I checked again recently, dishonest once again about it... so in response to me attempting to order the item again for the 3rd time these last few weeks, an item in my order was given to me not only burned, but some pieces partially empty of its filling. Well I've been a customer here for a long time but don't always get to come to this location. I used to only rarely have minor issues with my food but the employees were always kind and professional. Recently I think Theres been new management and the food that I order are actually great. I had a burger and fries last night that were a bit dry but when I told them about it they didn't get angry with me but were actually happy to help me replace my food. The delivery at my car was great a not just did they replace my food but gave me a bit extra to make my experience amazing. I got the extra Mayo and melts cheese in my sandwich and my curly fries were upgraded to a bigger size. I couldn't believe it. Everything was so amazing as I sat there in my car eating my food and eyes rolling backwards because everything was so good. I haven't had this high quality from jack in the box for a long time. Thìs was the jack in the box that I remember and the reason why I always come back. Thank you to the lead and the guy at the register. Really made my night and I'm so thankful. read more

This review is specifically for the tacos. The tacos for some reason have gotten a lot better. I never really cared about the quality of the taco. I'm used to Jack in the Box tacos being of questionable quality and unknown ingredients fried in oil that seemed far past its due date. But you know this is perfect for late night after club snacking back in my more youthful days. The oil used to seep through the shell in a bright orange color. However the tacos now, this is not that! This is something else, something much better! With the introduction of the Monster Taco things seemed to have changed for the better. Look at this taco! Look! It's got vegetables and a solid shell. The meat is tastier too. What's going on?!? This taco is good and worth coming back for. And this is coming from a guy that gets the Taco Bell Taco Lover's Pass annually. The best part is the same value for all this quality. It was decent before but this makes it much better. read more

The food I ordered was decent. I'll give them that. For a place that uses Snoop Doggie Dog as their spokesperson and the "Munchie Meal" as their late night food gimmick, I guess I should not have been surprised when the guy taking orders at the window sounded waaaaay too stoned to be there. Waited several minutes for someone to take the order, then when I asked for punch I got...."uhhh what's that?" I said "you don't know what fruit punch is?" Answer...."uhhh I don't know man"....I said, "no ice! I don't like my punch diluted." I literally got extra ice....the entire cup was filled with ice down to the bottom. Urgh. Other than that they got my order right and stuffed my chicken fajita pita extra full, and gave me an extra sauce when I asked, so no complaints. Smoke one for me too brother! read more

Used app and placed and paid for an online order and then discovered it was to the wrong location. (911 Tully in Santa Clara) My bad. Immediately called to cancel the order and was told I had to do it through the app. I asked how to do that as there was nowhere on the app to do so. To be fair, they had a bit of difficulty understanding English. Was next told I had to call the store from where it was ordered. "I DID! THAT'S YOU!!" Suggested I call corporate. What?!? I suggested I might file a complaint with the bank and they said to go into the store where it was ordered. Reminded them that it was on the app for pick up at their store. Said to come into their store Drive to their store. "We have no way of doing that." Then why did they tell me to come here? "Who was it?" I don't know, one of the two women and man I talked to." There were only 3 people in the place. Had to call owner (owner-run franchise) and get permission to give me cash. Imagine the confusion when they saw that I'd used the 20% off app coupon. I'd suggest finding a different location within 10 miles of where you are. read more

This was probably the slowest Jack in the box in the city. We were in the drive thru line for almost half an hour with about 5 cars in front. Quick to take our order. But extremely slow to deliver. Each other took about 5 minutes to receive. The curly fries, although still crispy, were more on the cool side than warm. This place is dirty and employees/managers don't clean up this place. They don't even clean this place. Very dirty. Probably not even clean here. They have like 4 workers working and we been standing in the front for quite some time to order some food. No proper greeting or anything like "hello" "welcome to jack in the box" "how's it going" etc. poor communication and their speed/pace is very slow. The staff is friendly and figured out the ringing of the bell meant the food was ready which I wasn't use to lol. Got some birria tacos, super asada quesadilla and asada super nachos. Finally, someone with the same cravings brought me here. It was a slow weekday night. We were the only customers there, so for a second, I thought my date booked the whole restaurant (what, a woman can wish can't she?). Our waiter Michael O. was AMAZING. He did a few awesome fire displays with our drinks, and calaveras! I enjoyed his energy as much as I enjoyed the food. I had the Valentine's Day special, which included a nice sized steak and a lobster. The flavor in the steak was perfect. Nicely seasoned, and tender. I ate the lobster so fast yal, I don't remember what it tasted like. But I assure you, it must have been good lol.

I'm not sure if I completely missed it, but I couldn't find the salsa bar that so many other reviews mention. I checked both the indoor seating area and around the food truck itself, so maybe I was just blind that day. The sauces themselves were honestly really good though, maybe even a little too good because I feel like I drowned out a lot of the actual meat flavor in both the taco and burrito. The orange sauce has a really nice spicy kick that I enjoyed a lot, and the green sauce tasted super fresh and flavorful. They also gave extra grilled onions on the side, which seriously elevated the whole meal for me. Service was pretty quick and everything came out hot and fresh, which I appreciated. I did have a little bit of difficulty communicating with the cashier since there was a slight language barrier and my Spanish is pretty limited, but we still managed to get everything sorted out without too much trouble! I would definitely come again another day for lunch!
