The vibe of this place was really good -- it definitely feels like a fun spot for a party or group gathering. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the energy of the space. I ordered the birria taco, and it was very very salty -- to the point where it was hard to fully enjoy. My husband ordered the Wellington, and that dish was actually good, so it seems like some menu items are stronger than others. The service was okay. Overall, it's probably a great place if you're going for drinks and a fun night out, but based on the food we had, I personally wouldn't go back.

This place claims to be "upscale Mexican," but it really feels more like a spot for social-media photos than quality food. We had a kid with us, and there was basically nothing on the menu for children, so I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids under 10. We were visiting from out of town and picked this for a birthday dinner, but it ended up feeling very underwhelming and overpriced. We had salmon entree. the salmon tasted good, but the rest of the entrée lacked flavor and wasn't cooked well. We ordered a few extra sides hoping they'd help, but honestly none of them were good. The steak street tacos were also disappointing; the steak was super fatty and full of gristle. The fish tacos were okay. The crisp tortilla appetizer was good, and the Playboy Bunny drink was actually pretty tasty. Service was slow. Apparently this place is a popular birthday spot. We were there for a spontaneous birthday dinner and didn't realize this was the go-to place for that kind of thing. Overall, it's not worth the hype unless you're just there to take pictures.

Grilled Octopus 3 Spanish tentacle octopus, soft, not chewy, doesn't taste fresh, rustic garlic, guacamole, paprika chipotle aioli, medium flavorful Oysters Rockefeller 4 oven roasted, bacon, butter Romano cheese, parsley, green herbs; cheesy, flavorful; surprised that it only came with 1 oyster when the DoorDash photo depicted 3 oysters in it! Birria Tacos 4 shredded beef, melted cheese inside; raw onion, cilantro outside; the description on DoorDash said it was served with consomme but the consommé did not come with the order.

Let's start with the positives: We were seated right at our reservation time The murals are pretty The oysters Rockefeller were delicious... we had 18 The Mr Bubbles was tasty. The hallway to the bathroom is beautiful Now.. The surf and turf- all the vegetables, including the mashed potatoes were cold & undercooked. The 24k gold wrapped steak was over cooked.... Wasn't asked the temp preference either. We sent it back- it wasn't edible The street tacos- steak... i think we very specific- NO CILANTRO. It was brought out with all the cilantro i reminded the waiter... I was very clear. It took them another 10 minutes to remake it. The tortillas were a little dry. The meat was seasoned well. That's about all The sushi was just ok. It was missing something. We were the first table to be sat. Another woman came in after us. It still took 45 minutes to get our order and first appetizers. The service is quite slow. Overall the experience was very different from our first experience. It made it a very disappointing time, and for the drive it was quite challenging.

Tostadas Prime in Santa Clara was such a great experience. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well made. Everything came out looking good and tasting even better the flavors were on point and the portions were solid. Service was also really friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even better. If you're in the area and want a good spot for Mexican food and drinks, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Great place for big groups. Came here for a team dinner as a big group and they accommodated our preferences. We did tapas style. Al pastor was interesting! I did find the sides of the meat a little burnt, but overall it was well done with caramelized pineapples on the side. Ceviche was decent. The complementary chips and salsa were great! Thin, crispy purple corn chips, and flavorful vegan salsa

The vibe of Tostadas prime was nothing short of amazing. The foods from what I had tasted great, and that also translates to their alcoholic beverage as well. During the night I went they had a fire dance, and seeing that made my night as well because I've never seen that before. I had a ceviche mixto, and also tried their seafood enchiladas, and I recommend both dishes!

Visiting with a friend who loved the place so I had a glass of sparkling wine with a half dozen oysters ... excellent I like my oyster enjoyed the dressing simple and good .. I saved a mini bottle of Tabasco to take home ... then bone marrow... I've had better but this was ok and finished with Crème Brûlée Service was fast and good I've had better service and food

I've been here about 3 years ago celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and was amazed at how nice this restaurant was. From decor, music, letter signs and sparklers? Chef's kiss!!!! Literally felt like I was in a club getting bottle service. It was no surprise to come back again to celebrate his birthday here. Came with a party of 10 for a reservation at 7:30 pm. Surprised that it was somewhat empty as the last time we came, it was also on a weekday and packed. We just assumed it was because we had an earlier dinner reservation and as the night went on, other parties were coming in. As for the food, we were given complimentary tortilla chips/ dip and also ordered a calamari appetizer which I DEVOURED. Can't go wrong with these. I also ordered the mini street tacos which come in 5 pieces compared to the birria tacos that only come with 3. It was good, but not to die for yk? It tasted a little plain and soggy, but their house sauce made it better. I get it's an upscale/ pricy restaurant with nice ambiance. But If you want BOMB tacos, you're better off going to a taco truck in downtown on a weekend at 11 pm. What I did not like was that they offer to take your pictures (if you're in a big group and LOTS of pictures) only for you to pay for both the picture and frame that they offered to take for you. I feel as if a simple question would've avoided this and wouldn't have went through all that hassle. On the bright side, I love their drinks. La toxica is good, but their lychee martini never fails me!!! Other establishments are stingy with their alcohol and barely taste it, while tostadas has a good balance between their liquor and mixes. Service was amazing. Servers and the manager always checked up on our table, asked if there was anything we needed, etc. Overall you're pretty much paying for the ambiance and the performances they do for celebrations. I'd honestly come back again to try other foods they offer. Another restaurant that I'd come for special occasions only.

It will be busy you will have to wait, but let me tell you the turnover of the tables by the staff is its own ballet. And once you are shown to your table the wait will be worth it. Point number two order potatoes that are fried in duck fat and sprinkled with garlic and parsley. *if all. I did was return in the future for those potatoes and nothing more the trip is worth it. That reliability is rare, and it's why Bloom is always my first recommendation. When family or friends visit from out of town (or locally) Bloom is where I take them. Every time. The food speaks for itself. The steak is cooked exactly to order, every single time. Medium rare means medium rare tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The duck fat potatoes are so good I order an extra side even when they come with my entrée. My wife loves their chicken and waffles. It's a difficult meal to pull off, but Bloom does it justice! The chilaquiles are outstanding they genuinely capture authentic Mexican flavors in a way that holds up against homemade family recipes and the best taquerias I've been to. The cocktails here are the best in the Bay as well. They taste delicious, and the presentation is eye-catching and photo-worthy. They're also strong without sacrificing taste, which is so hard to find. Sometimes a cocktail is delicious but weak, or strong but unpleasant. Bloom's drinks are perfectly balanced every time. Our favorite drink is the Palomina. It's refreshing, complements the food beautifully, and it's the kind of drink that keeps you sipping until the glass is empty. Whether you're celebrating or simply treating yourself, Bloom is the destination for a boozy brunch done right. This restaurant is truly our favorite. We've come here to celebrate life's milestones, and we've come here during difficult times when we needed a pick me up. Great food brings comfort, and we know we can always count on Bloom to deliver. They never disappoint. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and owners for making this such a special place.

I asked our server to suggest only the best of the their menu and this is what we got. Andhra chilli chicken-4/5- it was like an indo Chinese dish with corn starch and some Andhra chillies. Authenticity aside, the dish was delicious and lip smacking with a wonderful zip of heat. Flame grilled chicken- 4.5/5- their version of tandoori chicken. It was made well, had a good char and the flavors ran deep into the meat. The chicken was extremely tender as well. Avocado tikki-3.5/5- slightly salty. Come to think of it, the other vegetarian dish we got - water chestnut kofta was a bit salty as well. Crispy outside and very soft inside. Decent but not noteworthy. Kala mutton-3/5- the mutton was tough in parts and the gravy lacked a punch which meat normally needs. Pressure cooker chicken-3.5/5- this was Andhra style chicken gravy and it came directly to our table in a small cooker. The consistency was a bit watery and though the flavors were present it was on the milder side. Donne biryani-4/5- wonderful rich flavor, the rice absorbed the flavors wonderfully as well. Too much meat and very little rice and there was fat accumulated at the bottom. Rose Kulfi experience- Experience-5/5 Rose kulfi-3.5/5 Family enjoyed the experience of watching the liquid nitrogen convert the sweet Rabdi into icecream. We got to crush a frozen red rose into the rabdi as well before it got converted to icecream. Weak point was the cloying sweetness of the rabdi and the consistency of the icecream- parts of it were still liquid and some parts were over frozen.

No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.
