The Customer service person taking the order seemed to be rushing and not very thorough, even though there were no cars behind mine. As far as fast food goes this one was actually pretty good. - The interior of the building was kept nice and clean - The prices were not too high - The burger and fries were cooked nicely - I only waited about two minutes before my food was ready I know that Fast Food joints don't have very high bars, but this one was still a nice surprise to go to. Ok so I didn't take pictures because I was starving and we were in a hurry. I had a double decker fish sandwich meal with no cheese, fries, and a cherry vanilla coke. My daughter had a strawberry milkshake no whipped cream and onion rings. We both enjoyed our food my sandwich could have used more tartar sauce and the lettuce wasn't great but it was still good. All I can tell you is that the employees at this location are kind, friendly, professional and always trying to deliver your food in a timely manner. Today was no different. I love when a happy voice comes through the intercom and is able to uplift you. I don't remember the name of the person who helped me on this day. I wish could remember all the names of the terrific and friendly employees. My breakfast order at night usually takes a little longer to make. Thus concludes three years of disappointment. I will not be eating here again. The prices are the same as most eat in local restaurants. Consistently rude drive thru staff and missing items more often than not. Cold and dry fries and drinks mostly ice. Every corner is cut and tricked pulled to shrink servings and soar prices. I usually like it here but today they forgot to give me my mini tacos and they literally didn't put bacon on my ultimate BACON cheeseburger! This is by far the WORST location in the Reno Sparks area. There are multiple reasons why : -Using the online to go order is a bad idea. Food was old, cold and not even correct. Missing multiple items. Not to mention, even using the online order when we arrived to pick it up, it still wasn't ready. - Employees have no clue what they are doing or do they show any kind of interest in customer service. -We tried to call the location to complain about the terrible order we received and no one ever answered the phone. -These weenies think they deserve a 15hr wage when they cant even do simple tasks!! - A letter to corporate will be written. This is a four star location. It is always clean from the inside and out. The tables are wiped down ready do go. The drive through is clean of debris! There are two menus in the drive through that you can read. The location it in a good spot. Near shopping, and banks. The only difference I seen was the menu on there display boards do not match sons items on website. read more

I have had some really good experiences at this Jack in the Box location, and some really poor experiences. I really don't expect much as I realize it is fast food. I expect friendly, efficient staff, for my order to be correct and served in a timely fashion, and for the food to taste good. There was a time I did not patronize this location in the evening because the service was horrible. That seems to have been resolved based on my last few visits. Today I went here for breakfast after an appointment at the Renown location that is in the same shopping area. My order was immediately taken upon pulling up to the speaker. The gentleman taking my order asked me to remind him about the cream and Splenda I ordered for my coffee when I reached the window. There was a small wait while the two cars ahead of me received their items. When I reached the window the same gentleman who took my order quickly processed my payment, handed me my items, and even remembered that I wanted four cream and four Splendas for my coffee. It really is the little things that make a difference for me. He was very nice and very professional. One of these four stars is for his service alone. The food was average Jack in the Box fare. It was hot, fresh, and greasy (as a sausage breakfast burrito should be). Next time I will order it without the sauce as it has a sweet taste to it that I am not crazy about...but that might just be my taste buds. Their hash browns are good...crispy on the outside like I prefer them. I also like their coffee though it seems to be stronger than most fast food coffee (Burger King also has strong coffee in my opinion). Eh, mediocre at best. I went inside to order my food instead of going to the drive thru. This is first time at this particular branch and I just wasn't impressed. I understand that this is a fast food franchise, so I didn't have high hopes for spectacular service and food, but it just wasn't good on any aspect, being service or food. I ordered my ultimate sausage sandwich as I was feeling like breakfast that afternoon from a lady at the front who seemed like she didn't want to be there and us ordering was an inconvenience to her. After a Reno Aces game and we were given coupons at the game for Jack-In-the-Box, buy one large drink and get a free Jumbo Jack. We both were hungry and decided to stop at the Jack-In-The-Box at Los Altos and the Pyramid Highway. I'll have to admit, my wife and I are not fast food eaters primarily because of the processed foods most sell are full of calories and more salt than I consume in one day. But we decided to give it a try, what the heck, we seldom do this, so let's go for it. We ordered a Jumbo Jack and the large drinks and we also order a small and a large order of French fried potatoes. My wife's order came out first and she noticed how limp her French Fries were and she asked if she could have a fresh order and they politely replied, "yes". When my order was ready, I did not have any French fries so I ordered mine separately. My wife got her order of fries, but I did not get mine. I brought it to the attention of the young cashier and she said it would be a few minutes more. I was 2 bites from finishing my burger when I got my large order of fries. There should be no question about the 2 stars. There are other fast food places that run efficiently and the staff members are very polite. The staff at the restaurant was nonchalant and there was even an off-duty employee helping at the counter. I worked in the restaurant business but I choose not to be critical about service and the ways things should be operated. Not for me to say, mostly because I don't know what their working policies are. This was a very young crew and I just hope for the sake of the Jack-In-the-Box, they get it together and provide better and more courteous service. Somehow I was overcharged close to $2.50, but that has nothing to do with the rating I am giving them. Came in to try the Spicy BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, so we ordered one combo for each of us (two) and a chicken fajita pita. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant, handed us the cups and informed us that she would bring the food out to us. A short wait later, the food arrived at our table, and she asked if we needed any condiments, and quickly returned with our request. The first bite into the Pita, the comment made was "the bread is not good, as in stale. As for the burgers, once out of the packaging we had a quick laugh and said to each other, it sure doesn't look like the picture (when does it?). On closer inspection we discovered that neither burger had onion rings on them. I informed the young lady that took our order, she apologized and informed me that they were making new rings and that it would be a couple of minutes. A man's voice came from the background asking what was wrong, and the young lady informed him that he forgot the onion rings on the burger, to which is replied, it didn't say to add onion rings. I'm sorry, but as the person responsible for making the burgers for people, it is his responsibility to know what goes on each of them. Shortly after the man's comment was made another woman's voice told the young lady that she had onion rings and handed her a container with the rings. The young lady handed me the container, with only two rings. Now remember we had two burgers, which should have two rings each. The girl did ask if this was enough, and at this point I was didn't want to deal with them any further, so I said yes and let me wife enjoy the two onion rings. read more

Ordered a Classic Buttery Jack combo & a Sourdough Jack combo for the wife & myself. Both burger patties were tough & dry. They were probably old AF. There wasn't nearly enough sauce in either burger, making each bite a delightful mouthful of sand. The fries were tasteless, even with salt. If we hadn't been so hungry, we would've chucked both meals in the trash after a single bite. In retrospect, I wish I had because WE was in that Classic Buttery Jack gave me the super shits for THE REST OF THE DAY. The woman who took my order was one of those patently unfunny people you meet at carnivals or at the supermarket.
