They should probably teach their cashier that after an order sits, it disappears from the system, and should have a backup receipt so orders aren't skipped when being made. read more

We have not had jack in the box in a long time and so we decided to get some for lunch. Well as I ordered everyone's food (sides and drinks as regular) I noticed at the end the sides and drinks were all small since I didn't want to upgrade to large. When I asked the girl to please make at least the drinks regular she said "ugh, are you serious. " What the fu*k kind of response is that!!!!! Got our food and went home and all the burgers were so sloppily put together. I will tag a picture of what my husband's chicken burger (it's the new guacamole and pepperjack one) looked like. For fast food, the food here is good. Can't beat the 1.39 hamburger deluxe w/cheese. Order it without cheese and it's 1.00! I went with my niece today for lunch and was surprised to see a grilled cheese on the menu. It's probably been on the menu for a long time, but I never noticed it. Anyway, a grilled cheese and one of their thick chocolate shakes really hit the spot. I like that they have a bigger menu than most fast food places and you can order breakfast any time of the day. Plus, you can get two Jim-Boy type tacos for 99 cents! You can also get rice bowls and egg rolls! Is there any other FF joint that has such a variety? I ordered on line and received a confirmation and receipt back from Jack in the Box at 1158 AM. I waited in a long line at the drive through. At 1235 I got to the speaker and the order taker said they never got the order. And said they couldn't do anything about it. Mind you my credit card already showed payment. He asked if I wanted to talk to the manager. I said yes but she wouldn't talk to me. When I got to the window which was 45 minutes after I received the receipt back. They said they got the order and I would have to drive around and wait. I refused and stayed at the window. Miraculously the order was ready very quickly. The manager gave me the order and told me I had inconvenienced the cars behind me and was rude.I know businesses are having trouble finding employees. If they can't fill on line orders turn that function off. The manager blaming me for their ineptitude is totally out of line. read more

Came here late at night because I was craving curly fries. Everything was normal until I started eating my fries and bit down on something hard, I spit it out and it was a fingernail clipping. I was shocked and honestly didn't believe it so I pulled over to examine it closer and it was a FINGERNAIL clipping. I instantly felt sick and confused. I was very polite in the drive through and the overall experience was normal so I don't think this was planted intentionally, however this raises serious questions about the cleanliness of the establishment. The last few times I have been to Jack in the Box on Los Altos Blvd. in Sparks, NV have been awful. Awful both service wise and food wise. We just went less than 30 minutes ago. We live less than 5 minutes from this Jack in the box by the way. We ordered two number three's (sourdough Jack meal) and one number 10 (Jack spicy chicken). All three were asked for no tomato on. We asked for medium sized combos. We received our food. The cheese was not melted on any of the three sandwiches. Two of them came with tomato. The minimal amount of bacon possible was on the sourdough jacks and it was all broken up. Probably a total of one piece between the two sandwiches. The fries were ALL less than half empty. The service was terrible. For once the line wasn't too bad but usually you're in that line for a minimum of 20 minutes. I'm tired of paying more for fast food and getting worse service and the quality and quantity of food has severely decreased. It's very frustrating! read more

Used the drive thru window, service was fast and breakfast was good. When i have walked into the restaurant (using my walker), the restaurant has always been clean and the staff is always friendly. I will say that the bathrooms are kept very clean. I have been in other restaurants and there restrooms are filthy and smell. Good if not great fast food. I quite like Jack in the Box, especially their chicken sandwiches, so I stopped in the other day to drive the new double chicken sandwich combo. Good sandwich although it wasn't clear from the sign that it came with bacon--wish I'd known that as I'd have asked to leave it off (fast food bacon is always nasty). Service was friendly and food was made to order and piping hot--as always. Not sure how I feel about Jack's new regular fries. I liked the old ones so I have mixed views on the split. read more

Came through the dining in at 10:30 pm. Food was trash, found a hair in my burger and my fries were old and hadn't even been courtesy redunked in the fryer. They were just plain cold. I've been coming here for the past few years and this level of quality has been pretty consistent. I'll probably still keep coming as it's open all night so it's convenient when I'm getting off work but if you can afford to avoid this place I would wholeheartedly recommend doing so. read more

I reviewed this place a year ago and it has gotten worse. The employees are more concerned about their love lives than the customer. Once again my special order was messed up and no one in the place cares. this is the third time they couldn't get my order right. My order was a plain jr jumbo jack with pickles only and secret sauce . of course it came like all their jr jumbo jacks, tomato, lettuce, onions, ketchup, cheese, mayonnaise,. I waited at the window to complain, but I was being ignored, so I just threw the hamburger thru the window. I figured that would make my point and get their attention. well it did when I drove back around to explain my anger the little mexican mgr refused to talk to me and refused me service. well let me tell you Mr Jack in the Box, you spend all that money bragging about your new food and try to sucker us in to buy it, but I see by the reviews here on Yelp , 90% give you one star, doesn't that explain a serious problem with this store,. if anyone there gives a damn write me at gkmckiernan@msn.com and i will be happy to explain why NO ONE should ever support your establishment. perhaps a little more training in customer service would be warranted. I did a cary out order on 10/25/2017 @ 8:22:45AM Order # 490. My order was incorrect once again and the guy taking my order was very dirty. I ordered 2- Grilled breakfast sandwiches with sausage added to them. He said no prob. I paid, Did not get reciept till I got order. took 15 mins to get my order. I did not notice my order was wrong until I got to work. I tried calling 6 times and got no answer. I filled out the survey and still nothing. This is the only Jack in the Box out my way and I hate bk and mcds. I would like this resolved someday if you really care about your customers. Very disappointed in the lack of service. My order was easy. Well we will see what happens. Im going to let the bbb know as well. I love Jack in the Box. The only fast food I eat. I am very impressed with the service that I received tonight. This location is one of the best that I have been to in the Reno/Sparks area. The drive thru was very attentive and when receiving the order I was floored by the attendant going through each bag and recalling the order. Drive thru service terrible. I had two children with me and ordered 2 kids meal with curly fries. We received food as I pulled out my granddaughter said there was no toy any she didn't get curly fries So I went back and told gentleman there were no toys and no curly fry in one order. Took my grand children to this Jack-in-the-Box for lunch. We opted to go inside versus the drive-through. Waited 20 minutes in line to order and there are only two people in front of me. Then waited 20 more minutes for the order After all that time they still screwed up the order. Other patrons in the dining room were complaining about the long wait time. The manager informed us that drive up customers ALL get served before the dine in customers food is cooked. It doesn't matter how many people lineup in the drive-through while you're waiting, their food will be cooked and delivered first. The end store manager didn't care about all the complaints from dining room patrons. Other cash register clerk said the reason is that they're not measured on their service for dine in customers. They are measured on their service i.e. delivery time for food, for a drive up customers. So next time will I go to the drive up? No way I just won't go to Jack-in-the-Box at all in the future read more

The manger kept messing up our order to begin with through the drive-thru. When we checked to see if our order was correct we came to realize that she didn't pack the correct amount of fries we then went inside so she can give us what we ordered she refused to give them to us saying she had packed everything correctly but she still refused to give it to us even AFTER we paid. read more
