Today I went in to pick up a DoorDash order. It is Christmas. I know they're very busy. I did ask the employee bagging the orders if they can put the sauces that the customer request requested. she ignored me so I assumed she just didn't hear me so I waited about an additional eight minutes. I did let her know once again, so please not forget the sauces that the customer requested. This employee had the audacity to turn around and tell me didn't you tell me already? She then let her employees know that I had told her twice already, and to make sure that the sauces were in the bag. I'm assuming she was the manager. Visiting family and stopped here before starting my 5 hour car ride home. Went to the drive through. Ordered an Ultimate cheeseburger, no mayo, add pickles. Also ordered a milkshake. Not complicated. I go to pay with cash and they asked if I had exact change. No sorry I do not. Got my change and my burger and shake. Started to leave and realized I didn't get a straw. So I pull over, get out of my car to go in a get a straw. I get on the road and that's when I bite into my dry ass burger that had no sauce on it. We were in town for a two day scooter competition at Woodward West and needed some breakfast to start the day. It was easy to find the place, as we'd been here the previous night but they had already closed the dining room. Since it was early and we needed to be at Woodward West around 8 a.m., we ordered to go. They seemed distracted by the drive-thru and couldn't take our order immediately. I wanted to use the ordering kiosk, but the machine wanted us to sign up (or sign in) for an account, rather than to just use it freely. It was a couple of minutes, and someone took our order. We got a couple of grilled breakfast sandwiches with orange juice, and I also got a hash brown. Once again, since they were concentrating on the drive-thru, it took a rather long time to get the food. I could have walked to and shopped at Save Mart for my energy drink while we were waiting. I am pretty sure that they bought the "A" on their door. While I was there yesterday, I witnessed multiple health code violations. 1) The guy taking my order took cash from me and other customers, then, without washing his hands or putting on gloves, went to the back to prepare food....with his BARE HANDS! My boyfriend says that 80% of all money has fecal matter on it. So now, my food has an 80% chance of having shit in it. I normally don't do bad reviews on things I myself have been in the food industry for years but if I did what this lady did I would be written up or worse fired. I went though and I ordered a number 1 ( which is a buttery jack with bacon and Swiss) but they give me a number 2 instead and when I went to ask for a new one the girl " we mess up again we need to fix this one too" and then the cook came and started arguing insisting it's a number 1 even though it's completely different. Then gave the messed order back to me and said sorry we can't fix and tried to say I ordered a number 2 when I did not . I never come back here. It's not my fault the cooks can't read and they don't know what they are making. ( I got so mad that when they handed me back the box I just throw it in the trash. I think that this Jack in the Box is getting a bad rap on reviews, so I want to bump up their score. I really enjoy the food at this Jacks. I've had bad experiences at other locations, but never at this one. I almost always order the fajita pita and ice tea, because it is a healthy option for me on Weight Watchers. Great that they are open late - I had a commitment that made it too late to eat from a regular restaurant on a Saturday so I went to Jack. Always liked their food, tacos, churros, not a burrito girl, and sandwiches of course. In the end, the teriyaki is good but I was uncomfortable with the texture and look of the chicken. I never order food from here, but my boyfriend tends to like their food and loves their tacos. I always go through the drive thru and I always wait for a good 15 minutes from order board to window and that's being generous with the time...and then when I do get to the window, I'm usually waiting another 5 minutes with a long line behind me. Don't go here if you are on a time constraint. And do not get an egg nog shake from here either!! Jack In The Box is my favorite fast food but this one is very different and very wrong in many ways. First, it is the most expensive one I've visited. For the first time in my life I saw 2 tacos for more than 99 cents, $1.20. Every burger is around $5.00 and a regular meal comes out to almost $8.00. I could visit a Denny's or a decent restaurant and have better quality food and service for around that much. The quality of the food here is also one of the worst where food is consistently under cooked and sloppy. The dining area is not welcoming with service slow and hard to come by. There are signs I have never seen before in a restaurant, "No Loitering, 30 min max for dining area" "No refills once cup goes outside restaurant". These are not terribly unreasonable requests but still not welcoming. read more

September 20, 2016 I went through the drive thru close to 10:30 pm. When I got home with my food and took in out of the bag there was a dead bug on the taco package. Was good about 4 years ago but now it is a dump. today in drive through Placed a 40$ lunch order for 3 people ( yeah a bit steep for fast food) 10 minute drive home I found 1/3 of the meal missing. called the store the alleged manager told me he put the burger in the bag him self (I am sure he did but I did not get the bag). after a few minutes I told him I would return to the store for a replacement. arriving at the store I looked at the 6 cars I could see in the drive through and decided to walk in. the manager promptly remade my missing order and offered a cake (I declined) . looking around I decided to stand and wait as the tables were dirty. 15 minutes later I was at home eating my lunch by my self as the other two had already finished there lunch 20 minutes prior all around Poor performance on initial order but they did fix it. will think twice about returning because of the dirty dining room read more
