We were quoted a 5-10 min wait for a table for the buffet around 9am. The hostess team got a table cleaned and ready for us in under the promised time. Food was yummy though they ran out of scrambled eggs my first go around in the buffet but they quickly replenished them by the time my husband went back. Our waiter Robert was amazing! They were having issues with their soda machine - first Diet Pepsi I got was flat and the second one was all carbonation but no syrup. Not his fault and he got me an OJ instead. They also have an omelet bar which we didn't even know about until after we finished our breakfast so we will definitely be back to give that a whirl! Their plates were my favorite! I was at Okana with a group of 2 families in a party of 9. We arrived at Jack Rabbit at 7:45 pm on a Thursday night feeling disappointed that we couldn't walk into Smokehouse Social and find a table immediately. Our spirits rose when we were told Jack Rabbit could take us in about 5 minutes. We had an uneven dining experience from there. Bottom line: 1 star for service but 4 stars for delicious food. The first service problem was my wife's iced tea order. When our server brought our table's drinks, she explained that they were brewing more iced tea. No iced tea arrived by the time our bread appetizer came to the table,bao my wife ordered a soda instead. The iced tea finally arrived just before our check. The next service problem was with a mixed up order. Our server brought out two plates and set the smash burger in front the person in our party who ordered it. He took a bite and said it tasted great. Then our server came back with a concerned look on her face and admitted to bringing the burger to the wrong table. Oops! Since the diner in our party had already taken a bite, he kept his burger and fries. The third problem was with another order. One person in our party ordered the Jack Rabbit salad. The menu description included rotisserie chicken, but there was very little chicken in the salad that came to the table. The person who ordered it informed our server and she took it back to ask the chef about it. When our server came back, she had no fixed salad. The person who ordered the salad was frustrated and asked for the salad to go since the rest of us were finished with our meals but that time. As mentioned above all of our food was delicious. My beef short rib and sides were out of this world. The beef was tender and filled with umami. The presentation was stunning with the long bone sticking out. The carrots were crisp tender and included both orange and purple carrots. My favorite side was the smashed potatoes. I expected mashed potatoes, but I was more than pleased with these smashed potatoes. They appeared to be cooked by smashing baby potatoes into a skillet with plenty of butter or oil. Some bites were crispy from contact with the skillet. Other bites were more creamy because they had more potato flesh in them. I would gladly eat these potatoes again. The menu has other items I might try on a future visit, but given our poor service and the higher than average menu prices, this fits better as special occasion dining for my family. We can't afford a final bill of $100 for the 4 of us on a regular basis. read more

We had a lovely dining experience. I love the open kitchen concept and overall atmosphere. The food presentation is top notch. My pictures don't do it justice. I had the Oklahoma signature dish, the chicken fried wagyu steak. The gravy was tasty and mashed potatoes and green beans were a delicious combination to it. I hadn't had a chicken fried steak in a decade, it hit the spot! When they put hubs' rotisserie chicken on the plate (we were right by the kitchen), my eyes nearly popped out of my head! That thing looked beautiful. He said it was tender and juicy. He left nothing behind. (He did swap out the sides for something keto friendly). The kid devoured his cheeseburger and fries. We also got him just a scoop of vanilla ice cream as he didn't want anything else from the dessert menu. They were super accommodating. For dessert I had the peach cobbler. That finished off my palette nicely. I didn't finish it, so it's definitely a dessert to share. After a long hot day at the water park, this was an excellent choice to end the night. We were seated promptly for our reservation, and given water and menus. Staff all greeted us as they passed our table and were prompt on keeping our drinks full and our table clear of dishes. Our server Rylan was definitely well versed in a 4 diamond standard. He was prompt, polite, and quick to offer suggestions. Kayleigh was also so attentive ans personable. I applaud them in the high quality of service provided. The food was delicious and portions were huge, we couldn't finish all our meal. The good - service is impeccable. Friendly attentive and engaging. Good people work here. My bartender (Kat). Stepped up and made me a specialty drink. She had to substitute an item or two but the drink was light and delicious. Our waitress was fun and informative. Like I said. Service was great! The meh! - food was good but not great. Plating and presentation were amazing. However I had some issues with some of the food. I ordered the Rotisserie Bourbon Butter Chicken. The chicken was juicy. The skin was perfect and seasoned great. It came with smashed potatoes...they were okay. Needed seasoning. Also came with greens. They were bland and did not impress. Also seemed that the potatoes and the greens were very light on portion size. I would have liked to have seen more. It is presented with the chicken which is a half a chicken fully covering the vegetables. As pretty as the chicken was and how proper to plating was. It was just okay. The bad- we waited forever for our order. One member of our party got his food and his mashed potatoes were cold. That's definately a no no The apps were good however. The fried Mac and cheese was pretty tasty. Needed a bit of salt tho. The pork belly was the star of the night right behind the chicken. Everyone's food in our party looked amazing. But the concensus with the majority of all seven of us was for the price of our dishes we expected to be wow'ed with a taste bud overload. We felt let down. Now to be fair this establishment is new and is still working out the kinks and has only been open for a few months. I will revisit and give them another opportunity. But for now. I won't suggest it. I don't mind paying for a great meal when you pay the prices they have, but I have issue spending that kind of money and experience anything that is subpar. My greatest hope is that they figure it out so I can frequent this place again and again. They aren't bad. But they can definately be better. Good luck read more

Two stars is generous. First of all, there was a dirty glass on the table and when I pointed it out, I was told "it's not dirty, the water here is hard." Wrong answer. Second, one of my companions hamburgers was so salty that it was inedible. Third, we had to ask multiple times for simple things. A fork for a take away item. Additional items for the dinner. Fourth, I requested a dirty martini. I was served a dirty martini but with lemon in it. That's not how you make a dirty martini. I did not send it back because I did not want the hassle. They were not even that busy so I do not understand why they were so inefficient. The restaurant was also uncomfortably cold. Food is really good but the staff was SO accommodating. Ask for Payton as your server, she is phenomenal. The hostess, the servers and the chefs all individually went above and beyond to grant our requests and make our kids happy and comfortable so that the adults could enjoy our meals. My daughter chose Jack Rabbits for her bday dinner,while our stay at Okana. I made a reservation for 15 and we were accommodated. After we sat down and begin to order the waitress told me we could only split the bill up to three ways. Never mentioned when I made the reservation. We asked if they could hold our Nothing Bunt Cake and they told us no and gave us a chair to set it in. We were all set on the $36 dollar ribeye that had been advertised in every elevator the entire stay. The waitress told us that it was definitely not them and that we all had misread the sign. We all regrouped and decided on something else. Everything we ordered could not be substituted in any way so we were forced to keep sided we did not particularly want. When we asked why, we were met with an excuse of short staff and not enough food! The chicken seemed popular so a few of us went with that option. It came with 4 fingerling potatoes and literally a tbs of "mustard greens" which were terrible. A few opted for the chicken fried steak served with 3 tbs of Mashed potatoes and 8 green beans. The protein was a large portion but the sides were very skimpy. No accommodations were made to make my daughter's bday special. No dessert, no song, nothing. Safe to say, we won't be back! read more

After driving by Okana a lot, watching a lot of commercials and reading everything about it the family thought we'd go check it out. We were very disappointed. Both the Jack Rabbit Restaurant and Okana Resort were all hype no substance. Not worth the money. Everyone we were with has decided we will never be going back to Okana again for any reason but now at least every time we drive by the place we don't wonder what it would be like to go there. One of us was handicapped and we traveled separately so after some of us went into Okana and walked and checked things out all over Okana we went and found the Restaurant. We asked the person seating us to tell us directions to the nearest place for the others in our party to park and come in that was closer to the Restaurant and that person didn't understand what we were asking. Then we found a guy out on the main floor that was cleaning close to the Restaurant and asked the same question about a closer place to park and after he took his head phones off, which he shouldn't have been wearing out in the public areas anyway, and after repeating the question several times to him we realized he didn't understand what we were asking him either. Finally we went into a close by store and found someone that understood English but the closest place to park to the nearest door to the Restaurant was still a little bit far but we managed. Jack Rabbit advertised views of Downtown so we reserved a table there. We went at night so we could see Downtown all lit up. There were plenty of empty tables so we asked for a table by the Window and the staff at first tried to sit us in the middle of the Restaurant with no views close to us so we again asked for a table close to the Window after explaining and using our hands to show him directions several times that we wanted a view of Downtown we finally got a table right next to the big Window but we could barely see Downtown even with our faces pressed against the Window. With it all lit up at night we should have been able to see it a lot better than we could. The food was nothing to brag about and not worth the money. The only thing good about the place was the waitress. She understood everything we asked her and explained the dishes very well so we could all decide what we wanted to order. We all ordered differently and tried bites of each other's food and we all decided nothing to brag about. read more

Great place for a date night or family dinner! We started off with the Fried mac and cheese, which was delicious! My husband and I enjoyed and Earl Grey Old Fashion and Blackberry Mojito. Dinner was absolutely phenomenal, I had the special which had the most favorable, melt in your mouth scallops and delicous vegetables cooked just right! My husband had the Chicken Fried Wagu steak that had garlic mashed potatoes and green beans, all of which were very flavorful! Our son had the Rotisserie Chicken and Truffle Fries which were delicious and flavorful, especially with that wonderful truffle mayo! And our daughter had the kids penned with marinara sauce that she absolutely loved to the point of cleaning her whole bowl, she said it was the best homemade marinara she has ever had! Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive! Definitely one of the beat meals we have ever had! Steak was rare, I ordered medium. Everyone was done with dinner by the time I got my steak back. I ordered mashed potatoes with my meal and they brought back fries with it, when I asked for the correct side the lady chef told the server we had to pay for it, which is crazy seeing as when you send food back they normally give you a fresh side but whatever I guess. Had to wait for refills, management walking around but never once checked back to check on steak. Barely got any service what so ever. This was for my bachelorette trip, I'm really really disappointed in this place and the prices are to high to expect mediocre food and service. I 10/10 do not recommend this place. I guess I should mention also that I got the steak frites and usually those come cut for you and they weren't, the steak is also a sirloin cut, $32 sirloin is actually crazy, if you want a steak dinner, definitely go off site. Also, maybe your chef or whatever you wanna call them shouldn't talk so loud when speaking about the guests and their food..... fries were underdone and so were the Brussels sprouts as well. We had a party of 10, which I understand is a large group, but we showed up at 6 and the restaurant was almost completely empty. There were MAYBE 1 or 2 tables that were filled. We were told by the hostess that the chefs didn't want to seat us until 6:30. The chefs were too busy to cook for a group of 10 when the restaurant was maybe at 10% capacity as it was? On top of all that, we stood at the hostess table for probably 5 minutes waiting to be seated and none of the waiters/waitresses said a word to us. We concluded that we could seat ourselves. We walked in, walked passed a few more waiters/waitresses, and then finally were stopped by the hostess who was at the back of the restaurant who said we could go back to the front and she'd be with us shortly to seat us. Lastly, the happy hour drinks and appetizers were advertised all around the restaurant, but when we asked, the hostess said the restaurant doesn't offer happy hour appetizers. After we walked away, we heard her ask another employee if they really did offer the happy hour appetizers. Never tried any of the food or drinks, won't be going back. read more
