There was an anglo girl service with an attitude but it didn't bother me much as she was not servicing but was pouting all the time as she passed by me. The lady chef is also very hospitable as she went out to greet us. Deal breaker, unlike the Texas Spice which we always go to and gives us parking validation, the part time receptionist, Mardalena didn't help us with the validation. Little pricey. Good food. The Owners Box is located on the first floor of the Omni Hotel, next to Bobs steakhouse. Initially i thought this place was Bobs Steakhouse but I had to turn right to enter their restaurant. I was in Texas for two weeks and ate nothing but meat. So I got their healthy vegan bowl ($18) and a dessert called Death by Chocolate ($12). I thought the vegan bowl was good. Their dessert was okay. My water had a fly in it. This restaurant is a sports themed restaurant and probably a good place to drink and watch the games. We stopped in for some dinner to take to our room at the Omni. We ordered a hamburger and the steak and fries. Both of our meals were very good and made excellent leftover cheesy steak fries when we returned home. The cocktails were pretty pricey and I would probably pass on that next time. The food here is mid at best. There's really nothing on the menu that's memorable or worth ordering a second time except for the pretzel bites. While attending a conference at the hotel, we ended up eating here for lunch four days in a row. Every single time, we ordered the pretzel bites. They are truly the star of the show and easily the best thing on the menu. Halfway through the trip, I did manage to level up by ordering my fries with a side of beer cheese. While six dollars for a side of beer cheese is a bit ridiculous, it does take the fries to the next level. This place is nice! Great place to watch a game bc it's roomy and has pool table and private area if reserved. We went to enjoy a football game that was on YouTube for free and they didn't have it on! At a sports bar really disappointed in a highly rated hotel and restaurants nearby they didn't have tvs that would stream a football game. I think they would have been more packed if so. So since we were already there and made an effort to go just to watch the game we had a few drinks and shared an appetizer. The drinks were okay. Service was wonderful I think we were the only ones there other than a larger group that came in later and a few at the bar. The wings were dry and come celery was soggy. Inside the Omni Hotel Convention center Dallas, this place is a vibe and makes for decent room service. Portions are large and seasoned well. The staff and manager ensures service is to your liking. While I have stayed here a few times, I've never indulged in the bar setting American cuisine since there is also a bobs steak and chop house in this hotel. That said, the food was prepared hot, fresh and presentation was great. But my order had a mixup and the manager made it right. I would likely try it again, just not 5 mins before closing as room service. The ambience is breathtaking especially for someone who moved from Dallas. I love the visuals at the entrance. Smack dab in the center of the Omni hotel, it's a convenient spot for grabbing lunch/bites/drinks while watching sports or shooting a game of pool. We stopped in here a couple times for lunch and late night drinks. Didn't see any specialty cocktails but the bartenders will make whatever you want. They do some strong martinis and good amount of bourbon options. Seating involves bar stool seating, lounge seating, hightop seating, and table seating. Plenty of tvs around get your sports watching. As for food, it's typical greasy bar eats. I did the chicken sandwich which was alright with the fries. The wings are pretty good, the added jalapenos give a spicy touch to it. Also the kettle chips are a good snack for a quick munch. The loaded fries, I didn't really care for. The bacon, cheese, scallions, and green sauce don't add much flavor to it but if you've had plenty of booze, it'll be the best appetizer you've had. Went to the owners box to watch SNF & retuned for MNF. The first night we got pretzel bites for an app which were SO good. The beer cheese is amazing and they give you more than enough. We kept some for our fries. We got grilled cheese with fries and a hamburger with fries. The burger was great and fries were amazing. The second time I ordered the garden salad it was missing pecans. The third time I ordered (second to go), I ordered what I thought was a salad. Pay attention to the listings. I was surprised to see a chicken breast, tomatoes sliced like they would be for a burger and a portion of an unripe avacado when I ordered the Seared Chicken & Spicy Avocado off the menu. Presentation was on point but sadly, the only thing that was amazing was my salad which came with some sliced strawberries and pecans. My burger was dry and so were the wings. It's the Omni Hotel's Sports Bar near the Lobby. Very convenient for guests and a good late night spot for a weary traveler. I'm from California and this place was only restaurant open when I checked in at 9 pm. I got the BBQ Burger to-go and patty was very salty. It was like taking a bite of the Pacific Ocean. I swear I could feel the salt inflammation in joints immediately. To be fair, I think most places in Texas are super salty. So if you're used to/prefer salty Texas flavors, you won't mind how salty the burger patty is. The place was super busy because of Sunday Night Football, and the bar was packed with business travelers in their best "night on the town/vacation" look. A ton huge screens to watch the game and a lot of places to sit, mingle, get a drink or if you're like me, wait patiently for my to-go order while avoiding eye contact with any would-be social butterfly.
