GREAT place to watch soccer. Tons of TVs. They also open the garage door when the weather is nice. Manchester City fans are always there watching. Overall a great vibe with great people. Unfortunately they only had one bartender...she was working her tail off!! They need to get the girl some help next time! She handled it very well.

This is hands down the best bar in Charlotte to watch soccer games. It was absolutely packed during the world cup with supporters of all nationalities represented. Now that the world cup has finished we go for less crowded regular soccer matches. They serve a Full English breakfast which makes my fiancé quite happy. They serve an assortment of lunch options on the brunch menu which makes me, the only person who isn't interested in breakfast occurring after ~9:00am, happy. The bartender is always attentive to our table keeping the drinks and food flowing at an impressive pace considering we always sit at a table instead of at the bar. There is a lovely glass garage door that is opened to the outside during the months when Charlotte weather is tolerable. My favorite part of this bar is the free popcorn located toward the back which even includes an assortment of flavoring options. Every visit to this bar has been a good experience.

I came here at 11am for the 11:30am Manchester city/Liverpool game, and we had a blast. It was nice to sit around other football-obsessed people of all ages, and made friends. Lots of TV's, and they play the audio of the soccer games. Their breakfast menu is small; only about 5 options, but the eggs and toast that I got was simple and good. There was only one bartender for the entire place the whole time, but she was friendly and kept up.

Stopped by here last Sunday for the first time and loved it, connected to the rabbit hole I never ventured in but I'll def be back soon. The service was awesome and the guy behind the bar was hilarious, great atmosphere and the perfect dive bar in Charlotte. Great drink specials also. Highly recommended.

Jackalope Jack's is on the back side of Peculiar Rabbit and seems to often get overlooked in favor of the latter. I would encourage you to give this place a shot! We had some friends visiting and wanted to show them Plaza Midwood. After looking at some brunch menus, my fiancée suggested we try Jackalope Jack's. We pulled into a nearly empty parking lot around 1pm Saturday afternoon. The restaurant itself was empty save for the bartender. We sat and were greeted by our server immediately. The ladies decided on Bloody Mary's. I was boring and went with a PBR, but they all said their Bloody Mary's were very well made. For food, I ordered the Navajo and my fiancée ordered the Avocado Toast. I would like to note (though our experience was not negatively affected by it) my fiancée wanted the Kim Chi pancakes and they were not able to make them because they did not have all of the ingredients. However, she did enjoy the toast. It was served with a generous amount of avocado and salmon. I would definitely go back for the Navajo. It consisted of 2 Flapjacks with Chocolate Mole sauce, 2 Sunny Side up Eggs, and a Blueberry Salsa. It was delicious! The flavor combination was perfect. Just the right amount of spice mixed with a touch of sweet. A must try! Oh! I almost forgot about the Avocado Fries! They are avocado slices that are breaded and then fried. You really can't go wrong, and I was able to justify that I was getting healthy fat with the unhealthy fat. Yeah. Let's go with that... Overall, Jackalope Jack's is a dive bar with great food, and we will definitely return!

Truly a drive bar - it's dingy and dark but good place to just grab some beers and watch a game.

Also got himachi jalepeno to start, some of the freshest fish I've had in a long time. Thick pieces of yellowtail and the ponzu was great. The music was one of my favorite parts of my meal: Conspiracy (Paramore), Glycerine (Bush), and I Miss You (Blink-182) just to name a few. Ask for Anna because she was the best person to take care of you! Amazing recommendations, cool chick all the way around, and top tier. This will be a new haunt of mine!

Our table of four rolled up right before closing (15 min late to our reservation) and we were able to be seated with a gentle reminder that the kitchen would be closing soon (totally understandable). We were taken care of swiftly and didn't feel rushed at all (we tried to be considerate. We were one of two or three tables at this point of the night). I've had takeout from here before and liked it (one of the Thai dishes). My veggie sushi roll when I dined was perfect. Service was perfect. The only thing I wished for was a few more vegan options on the menu as I expect a little more variety at an Asian fusion restaurant. Cute front patio set up too, when al fresco dining is on the brain.

We went across the street and they didn't allow dogs on the patio so a quick Yelp search led us to Jack Beagles. With a dog in the name, I figured it would be dog friendly and I was right... it's event dog friendly inside which was great since we had the baby and it was hot out. They were happy to seat us in the dining room and since breakfast was about to end and lunch was about to start, we had the option of both. Some ordered breakfast and a few of us order the tenders because our server said it was one of the most popular items. I don't normally go for tenders at a new place, but they had garlic parm which drew me in. They were pretty great and served with waffle fries. My buddy got this massive burger that I was eyeing as well and I had a little bit of food envy when it came out. It was called The Big Bear and was sporting 2 Patties, 2 X Bacon, 2 x White American Cheese, Pickled Jalapeno, and Chipotle Aioli. I would definitely try that next time. Only odd thing was that when the burger came out, my buddy asked for a knife other than a butter knife to cut it since it was so big. Instead of offering to bring it to the kitchen to cut it, she came out from the back to say they don't have any steak knives and the only sharp ones are with the cook. No big deal, but a little odd. Anyway, we had a great lunch before hitting the road that accommodated all of our needs.

Our visit happened to be during Charlotte Hot Chicken Week so of course we had to try their special! For only $8 you could get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was really good! The Chicken was nice and crispy, not too spicy and the thick cut pickles really brought it all together. Also enjoyed were the Botz burger and cheese fries. I loved how they choose to serve waffle fries over regular fries. There is just so much texture and flavor going on there. They have a big menu of mac and cheese dishes that sound super interesting so maybe we'll try that next!

We started with the deviled eggs, which were not too creamy and very well spiced. We then ordered cranberry mimosas, a chicken and waffle, an a veggie omelet. The cranberry mimosas were so fun because we got to make them ourselves! The chicken and waffle was ok- I requested gravy on the side but it certainly needed the sauce. The waffle was a little dry and the chicken was average. The veggie omelet was excellent and I enjoyed the fillings. I'm not a potato fan, but my friend enjoyed the potatoes. The biscuit was standard too but complemented the veggie omelet well. I'd say the star of the show were the fried French toast sticks- they were hot, sweet, and hit the spot perfectly. If I came back to Whiskey Warehouse, I'd choose the deviled eggs, French toast sticks, and mimosas.
