A few of us from the office met a customer here for lunch, it was my first time in here, but was right around the corner from their office. Parking is not optimum, but we got there just as they were opening so we were able to find a spot. They also have a separate room with a pool table, and a small mezzanine area with tables. The bartenders were friendly enough, though not overly engaging or welcoming. They have around 20 beers on tap, across many styles. I had the Vienna Lager, and the BBA Scotch Ale (Bourbon Barrel Drafty Kilt). Both beers were quite good, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their beers as well. We ordered 3-4 pizzas and some breadsticks. The pizzas were passable but nothing to write home about. Finally checked this place out after a fun climbing & connecting event at IP. The event came with a free pint here. We had our team dinner here with a private area upstairs. It was nice to have our own private bathroom on the same floor as well. Service was exceptional from beginning to end. Our bartender (I think her name was Leslie) was so nice and kept up with all our drink orders. I had the honeysuckle lavender vodka cocktail which was tasty but not very strong. The apps were lovely, pimento cheese dip, hummus, salad, meats, and crackers. The pizza was incredibly delicious, chewy crust and all. I had the margherita and the hot honey pepperoni and both were so good! It does get a bit loud but we all had lots of fun! I even picked up some t-shirts downstairs that are very fun! I accidentally stumbled upon this spot during an ATL visit when I found out about the closing of an old Fav, Orpheus. The location by Loring heights was my first experience and they set the tone back in 2023....high bar to make for sure. They opened a location in CLT not too long after in an area I frequent. And they haven't disappointed yet in 10-20 visits. The 4-stars is about service on 9/15/25. The bar staff is always solid. The kitchen staff usually is too...but during a recent visit, the kitchen guy decided that wearing earbuds during his shift was a good idea and got a bit aggressive when I reached over the counter to get my own chili pepper flakes; previously I tried getting his attention but to no avail. Next time please relax, it is an open kitchen where you set food on a counter that is open to EVERYONE. In a pizza spot you had no red pepper flakes ready to take away. I noticed a lot of reviews have commented on how the parking is limited or not available. That's basically like every place in south end so I'm not sure why that brings down the ratings so much. Anyways, we sat outside and ordered pizzas and drinks. It was such an inviting atmosphere both inside and outside. There was music but not too loud so we could still talk as well as plenty of seating options. The pizza was average but still good and I would order it again. I think next time I would order a pizza with more toppings to make it more exciting. Finally got around to trying South End's newest brewery Monday Night Brewing. I was initially engaged by their marketing and the idea that they positioned themselves to be "brewed for the weeknights." The space itself has a huge indoor area with a fun outside that includes picnic tables, park-like hills, and outdoor games. We saw lots of kids and dogs running around outside so it was very much a family-friendly brewery. We tried a few different beers including the Mangosaurus (a limited release sour beer) and a blind pirate (year-round blood orange IPA). Both were tasty and I found it super unique that they brewed so many different things in-house. My friend also tried one of their wood-oven pizzas and it appeared to look very traditional Italian with some oil and grease, which isn't my favorite but she seemed to enjoy it. Overall I agree with the public that South End doesn't need any more breweries.. but this is a cool spot that I'm sure I'll pop into again considering I live in the area! read more

Absolutely love this time and one of my absolute favorites. We love their gluten free nights and have been to every one of them. Recently, I went for their GF night and had the Lavender Lemonade, I usually get it with a tattoo but since it's not listed on their menu with the ingredients, I didn't even think about it. I took a sip of their Sneaky Pet House Vodka, and I immediately felt it and asked if they could make it again with a tattoo, which they were incredibly accommodating about. It was totally my fault because I know what my allergies are and how sensitive I am even after the alcohol is distilled. Moral of the story, I was soooo gluten intolerant, if you have celiac disease, avoid their house wine and stick to what you know! Pizzas are overpriced for a personal at $17-ish per pizza. Nothing to rave about, it's a very decent pizza but nothing spectacular.
