Went in on a Wednesday evening so it wasn't busy. There was a lack of diversity on the menu, as an autistic person I appreciate simple options. When your wait list text tells a customer there are ZERO waiting in front of them, don't bump your friends up on the list and tell them this while the group in front of them are within hearing distance. I get that Larry is the owner and it's his prerogative if he wants to do something nice for his friends but comp their meal or give them a free appetizer. Well, I went in and was promptly ignored while the wait staff chatted up the people to my left and right. So, terrible service, geriatric customers who seem to get preference. I won't be going in again. I prefer the Bullfrog as they actually talk to me and make sure I'm happy...I was going to order food but the waitress was more focused on chatting up the 70 something Harley guy rather than myself who then had to go to another place to eat. We were in town checking out Bucknell. It was a Sunday in the summer, so a number of places were closed. Glad we found this place on Yelp! Nice looking place, good menu that was prepared well. You can go heavy bar food or pretty healthy. Sometimes the healthy stuff at a brew pub is crappy bagged salads and a dry piece of chicken. Not here. The salads were fresh and the meat is from their other meat items (jerk chicken and steak at our table). I got the jerk chicken tacos which were solid also. This is a wonderful rural find. They make some really intense beer and it has so many flavors. The atmosphere is comfortable but it's the inside area is crowded in terms of covid. The food is crazy good, especially the appetizers. Prices are a little steep but it's worth it for a fun time. read more

We arrived here early on "Parents Weekend" (Bucknell University is around the corner). Place filled up fast, but I snapped some pics first. We had a fun lunch and a great server (sorry, I totally forgot her name... red hair, super friendly). We ordered a bunch of stuff to share: sliders, fries, battered cauliflower, & tempura shrimp. At first, I wasn't sure there was enough food, but we ended up NOT being able to finish it! Great place and we'll definitely be back when we visit our daughter again at college. I've been coming here for several months and usually enjoy the place, great beverage selection, fresh food and good service...that is until my last visit this week. Took my 6yr old for after work early dinner (she had suggested we go home instead, little did I know she was right!) Arrived and was promptly seated on a wobbly high table close to the bar (not ideal with a child) and when my dessert in a glass arrived it promptly spilled. Nevertheless I let it go, and even turned down option to move to next high table as had already gulped down my drink to keep the meniscus spill proof. When the kiddy chicken tenders & fries arrived promptly, the meal was hot and looked good but on trying to eat the second c/tender it was inedible. Dry, stale and hard as a brick. Would break some kids teeth if they attempted to take a bite. I informed our waitress of our situation and a replacement came which though softer, appeared just slightly edible and clearly soaking in oil. One or two bites were a struggle. Disappointing. My adult Swiss cheese/burger arrived in good time and was juicy and flavorful with no pink as ordered, no complaints here. The drama began when I tried to buy 4 pack (mix-n-match).. had a diffuser time ordering as there were some miso g items and every time I ordered one, the reply was..it's not available. (Why didn't she just say what's available to start with?). On completing my selection, I was kept standing at bar, with no feedback, long delays and when I finally asked the other bartender what was going on, he rudely said he has no clue and is serving other guests (guess I was a lost lamppost!). The lady bartender who took my order came finally by after raising my voice and told me the sealing machine wasn't working so that's why there was a delay..(I guess i should have read her mind). When the 4 pack came it was 24$ and not 18$ as advertised on the refrigerator door. The explanation was too lame to bother repeating. (I guess to seal the 4 pack in-house + cost of rude labor + broken can sealing machine + being kept incommunicado = 6$) No thanks for me...my little one was right! read more

This is a great microbrewery with excellent beer. Love their hazy ipa selection and we can never not get the pretzel bites.

I've probably dined in three times and ordered to go from the bar twice. The food, service and beer have been solid and consistent enough I can give this place 5 stars. They brew a lot of different beers very well. They make a good sour that isn't overly tart or overly acidic. Their New England IPA is solid, not too hoppy to the point of being bitter. I don't really like chocolate stouts because they tend to taste artificial, but they had a chocolate breakfast coffee stout or something along those lines that was really smooth and drinkable with good flavor. They have seltzers on tap now that they make themselves but I didn't try one. Right now they have a limited release of a beer aged in whiskey barrels, and if you can order one I suggest trying it if you like scotch or whiskey. read more

My husband and I stopped here for one beer and dinner. He liked his sandwich and beer. I liked my wheat beer. I ordered buffalo cauliflower bites. It was some of the best bleu cheese I have ever had but the hot sauce was too smoky for my taste. The artichoke spinach soup was so oily I only ate about a quarter of it. I think I was expecting a creamy soup. It was just too oily for me. read more

The food was not good....the veggie flatbread had way too much balsamic on top so that was overpowering any other thing on it. The cluckers were smothered in syrup that should have put anyone in diabetic shock. And the fish tacos.......had a slaw on them that oozed pink liquid that reminded us of Pepto-Bismol. All the beer choices had a fruit addition and the wine...$9.00 for barely 1/2 a glass! Total bill....$97.00!!! One and done!!!! Won't be recommending to anyone. read more

Great building and the outdoor space is expansive and pretty. There are some outdoor games and lots of board games and some books available inside. We thought the food was meh. I had the brisket platter, the sides were better than expected but the 2 small pieces of brisket were very tough and lacked flavor. If you like brisket this is NOT the place to have it. Husband had brisket sandwich and felt the same. Daughter had the Jack fruit tacos and found them so spicy she could barely eat them. Not sure what temp IPA's are supposed to be served at but the draft my husband had wasn't very cold. My Let's get smashed drink and my daughter's cucumber drink were good but expensive. Drove past the brewery last week and was impressed with the exterior and made a point to stop in next time I was in the area and boy am I glad I did. The atmosphere is great, perfect for a brewery good use of interior and and exterior space. Lucked into Sunday brunch, ordered a flight of beer and settled on their version on Eggs Benedict. The food was delicious, they used a little waffle as the base and it gave a little sweet taste to the dish that I loved and the waffles were so cute looking. As for the beer... solid b on the Foggy Doo and the double ipa, the orphan Annie and lil hoppy were much more my speed. The bartender was great, very attentive and quick to help when asked for advice. Will be back again next time in the area. read more
