One of my favorite places to go in DC! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I always feel welcomed, safe, and always meet a new person is easy to talk to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks are always amazing and if your chicken finger basket is delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is definitely low-key so you don't have to go to impress anybody if you don't want to[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love Jackie Lee's so much. What is not to love?? The food is great (and truly incredible during taco Tuesdays), the drinks are cheap, the staff is friendly, [[HIGHLIGHT]]they have trivia on Thursdays and the atmosphere is chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It feels like the last cool, unpretentious bar in DC.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also stellar bathroom graffiti.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They've got something for everyone: free board games, patio seating, and great grub (with vegan options too).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I keep saying "I need to stop telling people about Jackie Lee's or it'll get too overcrowded."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oops!!

This was a fun dive bar. Great drink specials, awesome staff and fun vibes. Theres outdoor seating and plenty of seating inside for small groups. My friends and I stopped by for their dice roll combo. Its around $11 for a shot and beer. Cant find a better deal in the city. We also had their wings, ribs, fries and hush puppies. The house made mumbo and hush puppy sauce were delicious. We had a great time here. Theres plenty of street parking in the front and neighborhood parking a block away

Ummm this place is a dump... the 3 stars is for having an old Nintendo system so I wouldn't be bored out my mind while my friends we're outside painting. The bartender... girl was boring...even in my younger days when I bartend, i made everyone feel welcome. She had no people skills whatsoever. Her drinks were weak!! I ordered smoked wings and they looked and tasted like ... im don't sure if I can say it on Yelp, but the next I wasnt feeling well. The ambiance is dull and too dark . Theres no way Ill return... not even for the nintendo... I shouldve gotten a refund for them wings and that lazy bartender needs a new career.

I really liked this place. Location was a little meh but the inside is beautiful. The staff were nice and I loved the food and drinks. I was the first person there for the day. Go figures b/c that's usually never me. The sectional couch seats were comfy. A darker bar atmosphere but also warm and welcoming. Because it was dark I didn't get great shots of the decor but i'll be back! I recommend this place for a chill relaxing atmosphere. The drink selection and prices were great. Although the meal I got was simple it was yummy. Cooked perfectly and the fries were nice and amusement park crunchy. Highly recommend if your in the area. Casual dress, chill music, and I did see a tv and lots of alcohol options. It's spacious enough for a large reserved gathering as they had a dinner party after I left

Not great food. Basic drinks. Vegan options are more expensive than usual. But customer service is good.

Dinner at San Matteo, yes please and thank you!…read more Good food and service was memorable adding San Matteo to the list of favorites. The front patio is cute and a nice spot to sit on a nice day. We entered the restaurant, pasted the bar and made our way to the back. We were pleasantly surprised with a nice outdoor feeling to dine at. We were immediately greeted by our waiter, given water and warm bread with olive oil. To kick off our meal everyone had different ideas of what they were craving so we went with three starters. PROSCIUTTO E MOZZARELLA for one. It that had the usual meat and cheese board with nuts, mini bread crackers and jam. I liked how pistachio pieces were found in the meats and cheese. [5/5] BEEF CARPACCIO which is a family favorite of ours was a must try. The tender slices of beef with arugula, with sliced capers and celery. It reminded us of our trips to Italy. [5/5] FRITTO MISTO came next. This mixed lite battered bowl of seafood goodness with a little spice delight. It had calamari, fish, shrimp, garlic, zucchini and chilies. I really liked how the batter was lite which says a lot because I love really crispy anything. [ 5/5] On to the main courses, we proceeded with different pasta noodle dishes. BUCATINI BOLOGNESE one of my favorite pasta noodles was my selection. The noodles were al dente and the sauce and meat were excellent. [5/5] PAPPARDELLE CINGHIALE was my husband's pick. The pappardelle noodles were al dente and nicely accompanied the meat with the tasty sauce. Topped with ricotta; the dish was full of flavor. [5/5] CHICKEN ALFREDO was the last pick. Not an authentic Italian dish; however, hats off to the chef for making this for our picky eater in the family. The sauce was creamy and delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly. [5/5] Surprisingly we had just enough room for a sweet ending - an Affogato. Whoaza! The espresso was yummy; put some hair on our picky eater's chest. It had a hint of licorice flavor that was unique. Let's not forget the San Matteo Spritz. Smoky and highly enjoyable. I loved it and will order again when I return. Overall, San Matteo hit all the check boxes for our lovely family dinner. The staff were attentive and never left us wanting more water, food or waiting long. The food was tasty. It seems upscale with a casual feel. Some people were dressed for date night while others were having a casual meal with family or friends. The seating options of areas were all unique in its own way. Front patio for a nice day, from the front indoor dining area for maybe a more intimate feel, bar and table top area for a drink and appetizer going solo or with a friend; and lastly the back dining area for a a bigger group to enjoy your meal. Mixing up the dining options that suits you. I'll be back to try other dishes.

There were a variety food options to choose from on the happy hour menu . I ordered the Mac and cheese and fried catfish and it was delicious. My friends ordered the garlic Parmesan wings, bbq wings, old bay fries and salmon sliders and I didn't hear one bad review. All of the staff was friendly (ask for Bre she'll take care of you). Both DJs were a vibe and definitely had me and friends there way longer than we anticipated. The only reason I took away a star is because the air conditioner didn't seem to be working. They did have huge fans in there to try and cool it down but they didn't seem to work. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Entitlement Lounge. You won't be disappointed!

Although the space is on the smaller side, there was plenty of bar seating, an ample number of booths and the drink prices were a good deal. If I lived a little closer, I could see myself dropping by much more frequently. T he only downside that felt apparent to everyone I came here with, was the strong smell of fried fish. I personally wasn't too phased, assuming it as part of their menu. But the longer we settled in we realized it was coming in from an adjacent business which is incredible hard to control. With that being said, we smelled like fried fish when we got into my friends car and the smell followed us everywhere for the rest of the night. Like I said, I understand that's a hard thing to control but it may be something to be mindful of if you've got anywhere you need to go after. Overall though, totally in love with the laid back vibes here and would definitely return.
