I asked for a quote through Yelp from several different movers and Jackie Movers was very responsive and answered all my questions and had the best value in my opinion. Most moving companies don't provide a truck, but they do. They also had moving blankets free to use and the movers themselves were great and hardworking. We had 2 10x30 storage units full of boxes and furniture and between packing up the truck, driving to the house (2 trips back and forth), and assembling furniture- they took a total of 7hrs which is what we were expecting. Vicente and his crew were very hard workers who packed and moved my 4 bedroom house in two days. They were professional and courteous to my family and belongings through the whole process. They wrapped everything in blankets and cellophane to prevent scratches and scrapes not only on our things but also the entryways going out and in to the new place. I don't always move in 106 degree heat, but when I do it's definitely in the midst of a global pandemic (Corona) with a deep freezer full of food. Ha! We've lived in seven countries on four continents and always had high end movers as a result of my job. You can say I'm picky about my movers and I like to do things a certain way! This was my first move during Corona / Covid and July temps in Vegas are 106! They had availability less than 48 hours in advance and also gave me two options of start time (8 AM or 3 PM) in case you have to work. These guys were pros from start to finish. They were punctual, professional, and efficient. Furniture was packaged and wrapped well. They communicated with me throughout the move. The truck was packed and unpacked intelligently, allowing me to prioritize a cooler of frozen food, etc. These guys were awesome. PS I wish someone would recruit and hire some ladies to be the point person / do the lighter lifting. I've never had female movers but someday I hope I do! read more

Edgar was very professional and helpful! Just a few little issues. First a bit of advice. Empty your drawers. We ended up with a real mess with a 5 drawer stand up dresser and a standing jewelry box that was carried up the stairs upside down. I'm still looking for some of my papers that were in my top drawer. And don't let them build your furniture before making sure that they know what they are doing. They built my bed with the top upside down so the drawers could not be opened and then I had to instruct them step by step the rest of the way and then still didn't get the base attached to the headboard. Very unhappy to have paid them an extra 1/2 hour only to have to completely disassemble and the properly reassemble my bed. I would have preferred to have them just tell me "sorry, but we have never built one of these". I will be requesting a refund of that 1/2 hour ($65). But, overall, very satisfactory. They showed up on time, took good (not great) care with our belongings, and were professional. read more

They wrapped furniture in blankets to prevent those little nicks and dings. And they knew how to manage the steel connectors on sectionals. I hired Jackie Movers twice in a week. I had a big move and they were AMAZING! I requested the team from the first move. They were fast and moved my heavy items up to the 3rd floor. The team arrived early both times and got to work immediately. I have had other movers who like to take their time or get lost en route to the new house, but not them. It made the stress of moving, much less stressful. I had a 3 member team both times and they moved a 2250 sq ft 2 story home into a 3 story townhome in 4.5 hours total! I highly recommend them. I was then contacted the day before to confirm the move and any additional services I needed. On moving day, on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and 107 degree weather, these guys showed up and did not quit until the job was done. On the Friday before Valentine's Day, which was on a Sunday this year, I called Jackie Movers to see if they could move me on two days' notice, on a weekend, on a holiday. They not only said yes, they sent an awesome three-man crew who took only 6 hours to carefully pack, move, and unpack my stuff for a 15-mile crosstown move here in Vegas. They were friendly, professional, and VERY careful both wrapping things with blankets and lots of padding and then moving them both out of the old place and into the new place. I've had to move a couple dozen times in my life and this was by far the best group of movers I've ever used. I recommend them without reservation but don't recommend calling them on two days' notice like I did because they are probably about to get way more popular as the pandemic ends and lots more people start moving. I wanted to move my law office to a different location. I hired Jackie Movers because of some very positive reviews. The move took three men and a truck. My office furniture is large and very heavy. These men worked hard, quickly, and very carefully. I asked the foreman at the start if he'd take a guess as to how long the process would take. He said, "about 4 hours." It was over after 4 hours. On a last minute move I called Jackie Movers for a quote. The receptionist was able to give me a basic quote and answer all my questions. I called them at 6pm on Monday. The movers (2 men) and a truck show up to my house at 8am on Tuesday morning!! Talk about great service. The two men (Nick and Edgar ) were great! They did such a good job handling my furniture and making sure everything was shrink wrapped for extra protection. Both Nick and Edgar didn't stop working the entire 3hours.
