I had been going to Jacklin K for a while, hoping it would get better... but it never did. There is never a steady staff there, it seems like they can never keep a stylist there for more than a few months. Once you start to get to know someone, and start to like them, they leave... But lets talk about the hair..... My haircut was never the same, sometimes I would somewhat like it, and other times I absolutely hated it. I never had a good haircut or color from there. The prices are ridiculous! Its about the same price as a Great Clips, and I could get a much better hair cut and color from Great Clips. The owner brings her problems from home to work, and uses the appointment time to vent her personal issues to me. I would not recommend this salon to ANYONE! not even my enemies! Great salon, super friendly staff and nice environment. Lena is such an amazing stylist always patient and takes her time to make you happy. I highly recommend her. Lena gives the best blow drys. I have very difficult hair and she takes it from frizzy/curly to smooth and sleek. Lena is also fabulous with color and highlights. Lena is also an expert with hair extensions and uses the newest and most cutting edge techniques so they are undetectable and beautiful. When I moved to the area I struggled with driving 25 miles to my stylist of 20 years or finding a new stylist for myself and my husband. We drove a few times and then decided to try Jacklin K Salon which is walking distance for us. We were delighted with the friendliness and talent of the stylists. I have many "cow licks" that make it difficult to cut my hair and have it come out OK. Jackie is a miracle worker! I've never felt so elegant in my life. Got my hair highlighted by the wonderful Ann. I haven't colored my hair in two years and she took my dark brown hair and gave it life with blonde highlights. She is very sweet and also threaded my eyebrows swiftly. My blow dry took like 10 minutes and I have thick long hair, she is super professional.
