I ordered a single sliding glass door, and it took approximately 178 days--nearly six months--to have it correctly installed. The original installation included the wrong door, and the installers also damaged the fixed panel. What made the experience even more frustrating was the repeated failure to honor scheduled appointments. Multiple times, the company scheduled and confirmed service visits, only to never show up or communicate that they weren't coming. Each time, I had to move furniture, remove window coverings, clear access to the door, and rearrange my schedule, only to do it all over again for the next appointment. This level of service is simply unacceptable. If you're looking for Milgard products, I would recommend Sound View Windows or Lundgren Enterprises instead. Based on my experience, they offer much better customer service, often at the same or even a lower price.

Understand that not everything will be perfect but I probably shouldn't have been the one to have to point thing out like basic window operation not being correct, missing exterior caulking, etc. Some issues were fixed the day of install but most needed several service calls to address. As of today (two months later), I am still waiting for two defective windows to be replaced in the kitchen. The front office phone reps were all great as is the service tech that has come out the last three times. I just wish I didn't need to adjust my schedule to accommodate all of these visits. The workmanship of the…read morefinished deck exceeded our expectations, and every person we encountered was pleasant to work with. Our project was the installation of an 8' x 11' elevated attached deck. I had whittled my initial list of contractors down to six before choosing All Decks. Cost was competitive but was not the lowest bid. This was the third deck in this location. The previous two were wood. This time we chose to have a composite deck installed, to not have a stairway, and to have the area underneath the deck protected from rain. As this was an elevated deck, it was covered by municipal code requirements more stringent than when the previous two decks were built. We worked with Adam during our initial contact, and in designing the deck. We chose Dekorator planking, Trex handrails, and the Trex RainEscape system. We wanted to minimize supporting posts, as a competing bid would have used 6 posts, and we had seen decks on houses like ours that had 5 to 6 posts. All Decks was able to use only 2 posts by having larger-size (6"x6") posts and by attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor. The All Decks showroom was extremely helpful in choosing materials and colors, and in evaluating the RainEscape system relative to alternative underdeck rain coverings. Kendall did thorough work when he visited to do the detailed yard survey required by code. The level of detail in the resulting documents was unexpected and illuminating. The three-man team led by Chris who put up the deck was professional and unobtrusive. A special challenge was attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor as the current municipal code requires an exceptionally robust connection. Installing this connection required removing several plank-and-tongue grooves from under the overhang of the cantilevered 2nd floor, which is very difficult without causing damage. I was skeptical that it could be done and was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent appearance of the re-installed planking. (As expected, I repainted the reinstalled planks myself.) As for the steel-bar-reinforced concrete footings, Chris meticulously set their height so as to enable the potential future installation of a ground-level deck made from pavers. The gentleman who delivered and picked up materials and the portable toilet was discreet and careful. Crystle ensured smooth communications for scheduling, billing, etc. We are very satisfied with the All Decks team and their work.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

He was also very good at fitting the new AC into the space for the old one and ensuring it was sealed and weather proofed. However, when he finished the work, he left large boxes and packing materials scattered where he opened them and filling our kitchen floor and on the dining room table. He didn't do anything to organize the mess or break down the boxes. He said most of it was recyclable and he wouldn't do anything with it. Left us to clean up after he left and figure out how to manage and get rid of these large heavy boxes. Additionally, he had put the old AC on our deck. We asked if he would recycle the old AC and he agreed - charging us an additional $200 to take it. When he put it on our deck, it left piles of black (not sure what) that we had to clean after he left. Additionally, I had purchased a new bracket to support the new air-conditioner. He decided without consulting me to use the old bracket instead. (Hopefully it last for the long run!)

Highest recommendations to Jack at Jack's construction. Our initial problem: we had a new door installed 10 years ago by a building contractor, and the frame rotted out. We also had slugs and potato bugs getting in under our rec room doors. This time I searched Yelp for somebody who specialized in doors and found Jack's Construction - great reviews! Jack came out for an initial bid - he was very professional, easy to work with and explained every step of the way. We had 3 frames rebuilt and one door replaced - not such an easy task given a 1950s house where things are not level/straight. Jack was honest and did not try to sell us new doors since two of the three doors were fiberglass and we had a fairly new storm/security door that all could be reused. He also was able to re-key two of our doors to match the rest of the house. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jack, and his assistant, again - he takes pride and ownership in his business, a rare things these days. read more

Jack is the flipping best, he was a dream to work with and refreshing from the hundreds of mediocre contractors who plague Seattle (sorry, fellas). Jack installed (and found) a recycled door for us, reducing our climate impact while getting a gorgeous, thick, secure front door framed, delivered, and setup. He went out of his way to make it all happen within 2 weeks, a crazy fast turnaround when all other contractors were quoting 4-6 weeks out. The day of installation he even installed a new handle, door knocker, and installed the old lock on our unit downstairs. Fun fact: Jack even balanced the door so it automatically stays open when left open. A true pro. You'll never go wrong with Jack, 6 stars if I could give it. read more

Jack and his crew came and did a fantastic job on our front door and barn doors. Our home dates back to 1928 and so nothing is level; the floors aren't level and neither are the walls. In order to install our beautiful farmhouse double front doors and barn doors Jack and his team had to make various adjustments and they did it beautifully, so no one would ever know. When there was one item we needed to be looked at, Jack and his crew reviewed and fixed it promptly to our satisfaction. I found Jack's name on the Frank Lumber Door Store preferred contractors list while shopping for a new exterior door. Jack was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He's responsive, personable, honest, fair and pays attention to the details. As he was finishing installing the door, he noticed that my bathroom door and front door weren't sitting quite right. we were referred to Jack from a friend to have our front door installed and we also needed a larger slider to replace some picture windows . jack and his crew did a great and efficient job on both doors. They got them in pretty quickly and are beautifully installed. love both the doors and they open and close very smoothly. The large slider needed to be reframed to get it to fit and then get Sheetrock and taping done which was very quick and smooth. they look great and we are very happy with the quality job they did. definitely would hire Jack again. read more

Jack was the only person out of four door installers I spoke with who was able to think outside the box of what our old door / side light windows looked like in order to find us a solution that saved us money and looks amazing. Jack installed 2 exterior doors for us last year, and did such a beautiful job. Recently, the front door gradually sagged out of alignment with the frame such that it would not latch properly (we had some work done on other parts of the house that required the door to be open for hours on end, and it is a heavy door). We ordered a new exterior front door from Frank Door and Jack was on the list of preferred vendors. Came out within a few days to measure and wrote all of the specs down so we could order. After delayed delivery (on the part of the manufacturer) and rescheduled installs, we got the door and Ian did a beautiful job installing plus all new trim. Jack went above and beyond the call of duty. We got Jack's information from Franks Lumber. He did the installation right the first time around. But with a wet winter and our un-painted doors, it soon became difficult to open / close them. Jack came out to put a temporary fix on the doors immediately. Jack replaced a lot (a lot a lot) of doors for me. We had one front exterior, eleven interior match up doors, and two sets of triple bypass closet doors install. Quality was great! Breach of contract - He promised me a "senior citizen discount," which he mentioned several times. A discount would be a reduction in the normal price. Without telling me or asking for my OK, he removed part of the necessary work from the contract. Yes, he reduced the price a very small amount, but removed some of the work that we had agreed upon. After I got mad, he created a new invoice to get this work done. Only, he added on much more money to the new invoice. There was no discount on anything. He lied. 2. No refund of customer deposits - On his computer system you pay "retainer fees" to get an appointment scheduled. He does not inform the customer that it is non-refundable. I paid on April 20, 2026 $284.67 and June 29, 2026 $276.38 for a total of $561.05. He pocketed the money and refused to refund it. 3. Exterior painting - On the second invoice he charged $600 and left 1/3 of the painting undone. I complained, and there was no response. 4. He broke one of my phone jacks, rendering it unusable, and made no offer to fix it.

Not a good experience. Cannot recommend Morgan Handyman. Start with my 1 star: they refunded our…read moredeposit after botching the project. The fails: 1) They slipped an unmentioned "travel fee" onto my first invoice after several rounds of communication about their price quote and what it included. I went over inclusions and exclusions so carefully on the phone with them; then got a bill for $40 more with no explanation. When I questioned it, they said "they forgot" to mention it. After some pressure, they removed it, but it took some pressure. 2) They sent a handyman to fix the cabinet but failed to tell him he was to assess, purchase parts and complete the job in one visit, as per our contract. He came prepared only to "give an estimate." He did stay and attempt to rehang the cabinet door. 3) His "repair," which he was prepared to leave as complete, was hanging the door without knowing how to install/adjust the hinge he had purchased properly, leaving it more crooked than before, and now overlapping the other cabinet door by a full half inch so the cabinet didn't close at all. Clearly, he did not know how to do what he was sent out to do, but the shocking thing was that he insisted he had completed the job "as best he could." The argument that ensued was not pleasant. He had his cell phone running throughout it with his home office - fortunately - so they knew we were not going to pay for this mess. Ultimately he removed the work he had done. We demanded the deposit refund from the company and the cessation of the project. Very unfortunate. We will never try their service again.

He also tore out our old wall oven cabinet which had a cut out that was too small for our new double ovens, installed a new circuit on the electric panel dedicated for the new ovens. He created a CAD drawing for us to see what the new cabinets would look like. They met our expectations and exceeded them. He also installed a hand rail on our basement stairs and hung a new light fixture over the kitchen table. OND was respectful of property, clear in communication and fair in pricing. We would recommend OND for large projects but also if you need help installing a railing or hanging a light. We would definitely use them again on future projects.

The installation team (Tim, Luis, and Tristan consistently showed up as scheduled, out in a full days work, and were friendly and courteous. When there were questions about the install Tim provided the options available, his recommendation (how he would want it at his home) and then followed through with skill and craftsmanship. The team finished a day and a half early and left us with a comfortable and spectacular looking home!!
