For fast-food, Jack's Family Restaurant is pretty decent and has a decent enough price point in this day and age. The inside is definitely no-frills, but I was just getting takeout for an early morning business meeting. I got sausage biscuits for $1.99 each and the service was a bit distant, but nothing terrible. The sausage biscuit wasn't bed, especially for two bucks. Dropped by for breakfast one weekday morning while passing through Pinson. This is an extremely busy place. I was there 30 minutes and at least twenty cars went through the double drive through. I know why. I just had a sausage biscuit and half and half tea. The biscuit was very buttery (but not greasy) and flaky. The sausage was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. It was the best "fast food" biscuit I have had in a while. While I was standing counter I witnessed a "mature" lady rolling out biscuits. No prefrozen hockey pucks here. I really enjoyed my breakfast. I only ate the one biscuit but I could have probably tried to take down four. It was that good. I know each Jacks makes their own biscuits with varying degrees of consistency from one location to the next. I passed two locations before I got to this one and this one was the most crowded. I think that means something other than location. I can't wait to go back. Maybe in the morning. read more

Not really good you don't get things right whenever you buy attacks. All the time have both done our several times and couldn't eat the stuff when I got it. But I sometimes don't want to replace anything. But that's Jack's for you. But somehow they'll get by, and they also make real spicy chicken. And tell people they don't have no spicy chicken. I normally come here for the burgers but on this trip I was craving chicken and didn't want to go to far. It was around lunch time and I assumed the chicken would be fresh and hot. WRONG!! I ordered a 2 piece breast and wing meal with double mashed potatoes (since I don't like any of their other sides) When I received my order I felt in my soul something wasn't right and I was correct. I opened the box and to my dismay the chicken was way over cooked and dry. The mashed potato container wasn't even filled all the way up. The chicken was inedible... This was my first Jacks and my last. At approximately 1130am I was ordering at the drive thru, it was quick I was impressed. When I got to the window the young lady had the wrong order, twice. I repeated what I ordered, she gave me a look of frustration. Then Gave me the price she said "ten"....ok..handed her my card. Found something, slung the bag at me. No words. I said "that's it?" No response, no receipt. I drive away. Oh napkins were damp, burger was wrong, drink was filled with ice to the top. I ordered a number 1 with everything ...got a triple burger with ketchup and mustard. Just garbage. Obviously bad management and training. read more

This Jacks is always slow. I have never went and not waited. They also do not do a good job of having the chicken pieces available. The food is just ok. It's more of a convenience since it's one of the few restaurant in the Pinson area. read more

Not sure what's going on with the Mt. Olive store but my gravy biscuit was water down so bad there wasn't enough gravy to even cover the one little biscuit that was in my plate. ordered a gravy biscuit and received half frozen pancakes with half cooked bacon that was still partially frozen, never again in my life will I consider eating here again. or in Pinson for that matter. Doesn't matter where you go to eat in Pinson it's almost a 99% guarantee everywhere is gonna completely mess up your order. and the lines always wrapped around the building here and inside ain't no better. Won't even bother for a refund as it'd be a waste of my time to return to that "establishment". Workers are high school kids that don't want to work and it shows. read more

Went to Jacks on a rainy night. We ordered a bunch of fried chicken and sides. The lady named Alisa at the drive through was pleasant and very helpful. The food was delicious and hot. The order was perfect with nothing missing. It's hard to find good workers these days and I think this Jacks has a great employee. She should be in management and get a pay raise. read more

Without a doubt this group of employees at this location is typically the worst group of fast food restaurant workers I have ever seen. Does not matter if you're in the drive-through or inside. They are slow, rude and the people cooking the food need to be taught how to prepare food. read more

The service was horrible from the moment we walked in the door. The cashier was having words with a customer ahead of me. When I stepped up to the register she said smartly "is it for here or to go"? So I replied "Hello, how are you". After I placed my order I went to wash my hands. The bathroom is always clean (Only God thing about this visit). After I returned my coworker said that my order was on the counter. But since I said the order was for here I didn't touch it. I didn't want to put my hands on anyone else food. After about 2mins Ashley came over and looked in the bag then looked at me. I told her my order was for here so she pulled out a tray and shooked my food out of the bag and slid the tray to me. I didn't want it so I told the original cashier to refund my money and I walked away to get my receipt. While I wa walking back I heard Ashley ask the cashier who wants their money back and why. I told her because you threw my food on that tray. I don't throw my food and I didn't come in here to pay for my food to be thrown. After she processed my refund and tried to give me cash back I told her I paid with my card so she snatched the money back and said it was going to the card and walked away. I told her I needed a receipt showing it had been refunded so she walked back and slid the receipt and walked away. My coworkers and myself are in here at least 4 days out of 5 and we've never experienced this kind of service. It's one of the reasons we come here. Oh and if you were wondering, my coworkers food was wrong and bagged as takeout! If Ashley can't have a better attitude when dealing with paying customers then she doesn't need to represent this company. read more

Go for breakfast often. Be prepared for a big breakfast crowd inside. Pinson location has live music some Thursday nights, country. Great biscuits & sausage gravy. Fast full breakfast. Great crinkle fries & burgers as well as very good chicken. read more
