We called the same day to see if they could accommodate a group of 10, and they were super easygoing and welcoming. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and made for a great group dinner. We shared Greek and Caesar salads to start, along with three pizzas: mushroom, pepperoni, and sausage. The salads were really fresh with great toppings and a good balance of dressing. The pizzas were all delicious with the perfect thin-crust crisp and great flavor across the board. One thing I had never seen before was some sort of aerator pan between the pizza and the tray, which kept the crust from getting soggy. They also have a solid selection of beers on tap. Excited that I finally got try this place since I've passed by it all the time during my walks. We ordered the pepperoni pie to go and it was delicious. It's a thinner pizza than I'm used to but the sourdough crust was soo good! It's worth a try if you're in the area. Was excited to try the fermented crust and it did not disappoint! I normally only care about the toppings and tend to abandon my crusts after a slice or two, but it was really the star here. This is my first time coming here, and to be completely honest it will likely be my last. It's not that the place is bad, it's just not good. The beer options are nice, but their descriptions on the menu are so sparse that you are basically left with a single word description to go off of. I guess if all pilsners are identical, then that's okay? But I'm guessing as there are tens of thousands of variations in beer, maybe a bit more detail is required. The staff seems limited. I was there for a couple hours during the early evening and all of the front seems run by the one bartender. I felt bad ordering food, as that took him away from his main responsibility and seemed to throw a wrench in the room for a few minutes while folks drinks were running out. The biggest drawback for the place is the prices. $8-10 for a pint. Just not a price range for beer that I want to support. I appreciate they have local beers, but these prices are getting way out of hand. And to make it just unbearable. the place feels like a strip mall dentist office. The lights are so bright and the only sound in the place is a quiet background of a 90s radio station and furniture squeaking. No charm in any sense. If I'm paying $8 for a beer that 3yr ago I could have gotten anywhere for $4, I should at least like the place I'm in. TL;DR: Expensive beer under bright lights. read more

So much has improved and changed in that time and it was cool getting to chat with the Bartender & locals at Brew. This place is the bar side of the red next door which is a cool idea. Nice, modern decor with tons of seating options inside and out and a good beer selection for those that like the brewski The house Chardonnay was just fine for me. It felt like a lot of people were regulars or met up with friends there regularly. There was also some luggage around so it looks like the kind of place to get a quick drink leaving town or just coming back. This was the first time I patronized this establishment and I will return with more friends! I met my buddies for drinks and food. The location is iin downtown South City and it's next to their restaurant. It is beautifully designed and so modern, it's filled with light and I love the seating, there are many choices and the seats are comfortable. Service is counter side and it's clean. The beverages choices are abundant and their small plates are tasty, we had the garlic fries, buffalo wings, calamari, hummus spread and fish and chips, all very good. We also drank wine, cider and beer, all great. The crowd was mixed on the day we visited was, mostly millennials with a few traditional and baby boomers sprinkled here and there! The only flaw is that they don't have anything sweet to go with the drinks, I know it's a brewery, but I have a sweet tooth. I also noticed that food was brought over from their restaurant next door to some patrons, but I didn't see any signs indicating you could do that, it would have been good to know that service was an option, in case you want a dinner size portion with your drinks. Great spot to grab drinks after work! My coworkers and I came by around 5 on a Thursday and the tables were about half full. There's seating both outside and inside, and the inside of the bar is really nice, with a very modern and clean feel. There's a great selection of local craft beers and wine. The beers on tap rotate pretty often, last time I got a sour cranberry from Barebottle that was pretty tasty. There's also currently a dark cherry cider that's super good, would recommend if you like something sweet. My girlfriend and I came here because it was the highest rated wings in this part of South San Francisco. We walked past the place twice because we couldn't find it. Their sign is barely noticeable.
