Yeah a bit confused because I thought I was going to an American pub style restaurant but it was a Mexican restaurant. Got a wet burrito and it was pretty good. Had to wait almost 30 minutes for it though. Not a fan of the long wait times. The venue is quite nice though. With the exception of my recent stop I am alerting new faces to check the bill. Robert is unfriendly, unwelcoming, and overcharged me and others. One drink oddly only cost me $9 previously came out to $17.45 and with tip $20. I did not authorize this and alerted my bank. When I went to visit to discuss next day he was thete- no hello, head down and I could have sworn he knew why I was there. I left because its not worth being hostile but then a friend said the same thing! That he mentioned it to him and he said you were buying a bunch on your tab! He let it go because well...its AWKWARD. Stopped by here since the first bar we hit up didn't have food and we yelped what was nearby. Bartender was handsome & a niners fan ;) Drinks were cheap, service was good & food was delicious. Looks like they have a bunch of regulars and that's always good. We came on a Thursday after work & it wasn't as packed which is good for introverts like us. We tried to come back on Friday but it was alot more crowded & we just didn't wanna drink with a big crowd so we left. Definitely worth checking out! The Mexican food is amazing here! read more

Got there and menu was different but didn't disappoint. Super Burrito was big enough to share or take 1/2 home like my husband did. Menu had cheeseburger but I needed w/o cheese & w/o bun, took the kid at window a minute to figure that out. This was my 2nd time there and I'm standing at the bar for at least 7 minutes before being helped with is fine but the bartender wasn't even busy. Another patron (white lady) had to get his atty and ask him to take my order. He did and i asked to leave my tab open. He then he got mad that i asked for sprite as a chaser for my shot of tequila. I seen his demeanor and immediately closed my 1 drink tab for a well shot of tequila but was charged $20. That's not what my receipt reflected. Very unprofessional. I came here on Saturday before an event and was blown away by how good the tacos were that were served here. A couple of the people that I was with got burritos and they were good size and look delicious. Sadly not a chill place for a burger and a beer. I ventured in on a recent Wednesday night as I heard they have a new food menu. The menu looked solid, Burgers, Wings, Mozz sticks etc. A tall gentleman eventually made it over to me to ask what I wanted. I ordered a Stella and looked at the menu clearly interested in food. He seemed disinterested in taking a food order or perhaps I do it myself? I dunno because it quickly became apparent that this is a spot for neighborhood alcoholics and NOT a bar and grill as the sign implies. There was a group playing a dice game at the end of the bar and an older woman literally screaming through her wooden teeth every time someone got a ¡FOUR!! *cackle cackle*. Fella next to me wanted to order a round of Jameson shots for a group to my right and shouted over me with to do so then proceeded to chat with them as I was trapped in the middle. I tried to flag down the bartender to ask how the food went down but at that point I was completely over it. I drank my beer and rushed out of there. We finally checked out this spot after driving by it for almost a year now and guess what.. it did not disappoint! Tony P's is your classic dive bar where everyone seems to know everyone, and the drinks get the job done and aren't overpriced. We got there on a Friday night around 7:30pm-ish and it was POPPIN! Little did we know, there's a DJ that comes out around 10pm on the weekends, however, even without the DJ, this place was busy, in a good way! Overall the facilities are clean and staff are friendly. One thing I really liked about this place was the food! I was so impressed by Lovens burger - I'm craving it right now just thinking of it! Met a friend for a drink and he brought me to Tony P's on a Friday afternoon. You can tell this place is popular with the regulars who were sitting around the bar talking to the bartender. I ordered a Tanqueray Gin and Tonic and my friend ordered a beer. Took my drink out to the patio in front, took one sip and oooh weee, that drink was strong. I appreciate a heavy pour but wasn't prepared for that when I took a sip. The kitchen was closed, so we took ourselves somewhere else for food. I will preface this by saying this review has nothing to do with the inside of Tony P's, but is about how management takes care of the space around their business. Multiple mornings a week there is broken glass, vomit, food, and trash around the building that does not get cleaned. As someone who goes on walks every day throughout the neighborhood, I am often side stepping the disgusting aftermath of someone's night at Tony P's. I wish there was a greater respect for the neighborhood and people who live here. Management should be cleaning the space around their building. There are kids and families who live on the block, people who walk their dogs, and all of us are forced to deal with these hazards on the street and shared spaces. We appreciate that it's a beloved local bar, but would appreciate even more if they respected the community they were a part of. read more

First of all, I have been going here since it opened, the previous owner Tony, sadly passed. (Good Man) Lets go to today 10/22/24. I have lunch there every day the kitchen is open, recently it has been speratic, now when it is open I spend $12.84 per day. (Best taco's I have ever had) so lets say average $38.52 a week, and have been doing so last 4 to 5 weeks. so also lets say. average comes out to $154.00 a month. I also play hotspot! Today a 12, I went there to find it was closed, the door was answered (not sure if he was the owner) " I keep telling you that the kitchen is not opened until 4 on Mondays, I am not here to eat I just wanted to check my numbers! PISS OFF I do not need your ticket, and slammed the door in my face. Now I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt, Since it was not open, I have to gather that the bartender called off, and he was upset! Just because your day may be starting off bad, that you treat a good loyal customer like a POS! Since it originally opened! if the food was terrible, I would stop going! If the kitchen staff and bartenders were not friendly, I would stop going. Hopefully in passing some day , I will get an apology, Hey I am sorry, It was not a good day, you didnt deserve to be treated that way! A very laidback sport bar in an otherwise quaint neighborhood with a jukebox, several flatscreen TV's, a full bar and one pool table at the very far end next to the back entrance. I came by at the end of lunch hour so it wasn't as pack. Took me awhile to check the menu and decided to order their today's special chicken, mashed potato with gravy and cole slaw all for under $9.75. The waitress was very nice and the wait was maybe 15 minutes or so in she brought me a glass of water and when I had my meal she refill it twice. I asked for chicken breast and they were crispy and tender not undercook or greasy in anyway. They do provide their own parking lot for its customer and have outdoor seating. I've been coming to Tony P's for some time and they recently started to serve prime rib on their dinner menu! I was totally looking forward to trying this as we have tried their other menu items and they have been exceptional (especially their onion rings and wings). We ordered mine prime rib medium rare... it came to me medium. Not to much of an issue as the meat had great taste and the knife cut like butter. I would recommend the prime rib here! Upon finishing we noticed our neighbors to the right and left got dinner rolls. We asked the waitress and she said well you have to ask for the rolls in order to get them. WTF? This is your second week serving, shouldn't you offer if the person would like a dinner roll? All I'm saying is if I ask for a medium rare prime rib I should get one..... if you offer dinner rolls with your dinner plate your waitress should offer the customer the option.
