This is extremely good, authentic Puerto Rican food at great prices and a very nice view! There were a variety of tacos and quesadilla's. Fish/seafoood, and BBQ chicken choices - all were amazing. We went Aug 2025 and two tacos were $12 - so very reasonable prices.

Do not, I repeat, do not miss out on jack's shack!!!! We came here daily (often times multiple times a day) during our stay in Rincón. The guys who run it are great vibes - so welcoming and accommodating! Very casual vibes, great spot to grab a bite before hitting the beach. The fish tacos were AMAZING. Truly some of the best I have ever had. The fish was so so fresh topped with many yummy fixins. Don't forget to ask for their coconut habanero hot sauce Other noteworthy items to try would be any of their fresh juices, breakfast quesadillas, and burritos.

Glad I checked for places to eat before leaving town after snorkeling. The fish tacos were excellent. So was the coleslaw side dish. Both guys were very friendly. If I'm ever back in Rincon, I'll definitely stop to eat here again. Oh, and the beach by the shack was deserted and made for a great place to relax after eating.

Can't say no to a surf-side taco shack and it delivered. The only thing I knocked a star off for is because I asked for no cilantro and got... a lot of it (I'm one of those monsters that tastes soap instead). That said, the fish tacos were delicious. Half of our group preferred them over the chicken, the other half swears by the chicken. I think they were both great. But the true secret is the special house-made hot sauce. Don't forget to try some of the fresh juice!

Ugh could this be any cuter!? Jacks Shack is clearly a locals favorite serving up a variety of delicious and healthy breakfast and lunch meals with patio covered seating. If I lived here I would definitely become a regular spot for me. We all had the breakfast burrito $6 and breakfast sandwiche $6 and they sell some locally made kombucha! The spicy mango and hibiscus flavors were really good even though they were $6 each. We really wanted to stop back by for lunch because they ahi tuna poke bowls, elotes, and more of my favorite things on the specials menu. Next time for sure! read more

Ordered 2 watermelon juices to start which were clearly fresh squeezed with delicious light pulp. We then had the quinoa salad and scrumptious fish tacos. Both were delicious and filling for the two of us. The food truck is pretty easy to find with plenty of parking and shade for seating. I think there were 4 tables with 4 seats each and one hammock for hanging out. The location is beautiful overlooking the beach with butterflies fluttering around. Definitely a must try. First time to Puerto Rico and to Jacks Shack and we will definitely be back! read more

If you have any taste for food then you'll agree that this place is awful. I got severe food poisoning from the horrible taste. Also found a bug in my sandwich. The bug was the tastiest part of the sandwich. Truly disgusting. read more

Favorite stop for breakfast. The Banana Bread and other baked treats are a must (dank) and come in handy for a car ride to Isabela or elsewhere. Wow! Jacks shack is bar far the best food I had during my 3 day trip in Rincon. My bf and I tried various restaurants recommended by a handful of people along with google and yelp reviews- none of them hit 4 or barely 3 stars. However jacks shack had the freshest ingredients, simple yet quality and that's all we needed. We came back two days in a row after surfing, stuffed our faces with the fish tacos, smoothies, kombucha and power cookies. I wish they would just create a pop up in NYC, maybe look into franchising so I could show up everyday lol. read more

Go here and have the breakfast wrap. And the smoothies and probably everything else but mostly the breakfast wrap. The food was delicious and it was nice to sit out under the tent while we ate. Definitely someplace you should try while in Rincon. We went twice and I would have kept going back for every meal. read more

Today I waited 45 minutes for 2 tacos. Ridiculous and total waste of time. No excuse with not many people around. Tacos were fine. Not worth the wait. Not sure what happened on their end but I saw group orders coming out faster. read more

I was excited to go here whenever we could squeeze it in, the view is fantastic overlooking the water with a few choices of beaches to choose from in walking distance .Easy to get to. Most importantly the food, the food is fresh, They were very catering to our Vegan lifestyle(there also have non-vegan options for meat eaters out there), we had a quinoa burger,salad, coconut water and a refreshing smoothie. We waited to get the smoothie the 1st day because we got there as they were closing all the ingredients werent available. It was worth the wait plus we had an excuse to go back . This is the type of business you not only love to support but has its own merit for quality food. I wish I had come here earlier in my vacation because it was soo good! I'm craving the fish tacos I ordered with a refreshing iced tea. Every ingredient tasted fresh and balanced. My son enjoyed the breakfast sandwich (he's a picky eater) and my husband finished off his fish sandwich before I knew it. We had to wait a few minutes for a table in the shade, as it was bustling with hungry patrons. A casual beach vibe and chill music made this one of my top three favorite places. read more

I stayed in Rincon and ate here twice. It was really amazingly difficult to find vegetarian & gluten free food to eat, but Jack's had it. The Quinoa Salad was good, and they altered their menu to actually have something I could eat. One time, they had this breadfruit soup that someone had brought in, but wasn't on the menu. The food was good for a "shack" and the people were great. I was just most thrilled to actually find a place that was open where I could eat anything. read more

This place is a true gem. After a year and a half since my last visit to Jack's, I was pleasantly surprised--it exceeded my memories. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the beach and a fantastic surf spot called Pools. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. There's nothing better than enjoying a home-cooked meal, sipping fresh juice, and watching the surf all at once. If you're in the area, make sure to check out this neighborhood eatery. Amazing view and fresh local and organic ingredients!!! This little food cart is doing it right. Overlooking the surf break at Maria's Beach walking distance from the lighthouse...check this spot out if you go to Rincon. read more
