Grilled Chicken Caprese on a Garlic Knot bun
David L.

Omg!!!! This place is a hidden gem, nestled on a golf course!!!! We were meant to end up here. My fiancée and I drove to Salad Works because we were craving a salad and Allentown had the only location that closes at 9:00. We got there at 7:30 and of course, they closed early. After a 60 hour work week that just ended, I had enough and we searched for closest place to grab food. Jack's Slice popped up. We had our dogs with us, so we were just going make our order pick up and head back to Phillipsburg. We noticed they had an outdoor patio and asked if we were permitted to have our dogs with us out there. They said yes, so we decided to eat in. It was the best ending to our hectic work week. The view from patio is bliss, the staff is awesome, the vibe is awesome and the food is A-One!!!!! And very inexpensive. I opted for the Garlic Knot grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich. The bun is a giant garlic knot and it was out of this world. Jack's Slice is highly recommended and is dog friendly as well. They made sure our babies had water the whole time. Will definitely be going back.

Come on!! It's pizza. I swear. No one can make pizza anymore! The cheese isn't even melted. The crust is flakey & seems stale. I do NOT like their pizza. Their chicken cheesesteak is mediocre, at best. The only thing this place has going for itself is the friendly bartenders.

Garlic Cheesesteak Hot Sandwich

This was the first time my family and I have gotten food here. It was wonderful the food was delicious. We went in to go pick it up didn't know we were going to a golf course which was also awesome, I don't know the guys name but he was very helpful when we came in waiting for our food. Even when the slice app was being weird and I loved the ambiance of the place. And hearing the offspring. Definitely gonna be our weekly spot!

Grilled Chicken Caprese Garlic Knot Sandwich is AMAZING! Grilled chicken, fresh tomato, fresh mozzarella on a freshly baked garlic knot bun...oh yeah topped with a balsamic drizzle over the top. Fantastic!!!

The waitresses were very friendly and nice. The pizza was okay at best. The golfers were rude. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again.

It's open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. My friend and I made our first visit early Friday evening. The service was good, and the food more than lived up to expectations. We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

I've heard nothing but great things since this place opened, so I was definitely looking forward to trying some of their food. My friends and I started with three appetizers; homemade mozzarella sticks, nachos with shredded chicken, and lemon pepper wet wings. The moz sticks were lightly breaded, crispy, and filled with gooey deliciousness. The nachos were good, not great. The ingredients were fresh, but disproportional (not enough chips and queso and too much LTO). The wings were absolute perfection. I still have a handful of places to try, but Cuzin's is definitely a contender for best wings in the valley. After the appetizers I moved on to Cuzin's colossal club. This sandwich is enormous! It's piled high with pastrami, corned beef, ham, turkey, bacon, provolone, Swiss, LTO, and house sauce. It's served on grilled rye bread. My friends ordered the three little pigs burger and the cali chicken sandwich. They both enjoyed theirs as much as I did. Our server was friendly, helpful with the menu, and had superb timeliness from start to finish. Cuzin's has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.

We got a flight to try out different beers which we thought was very affordable. We got wings to share (flavors were bang bang and Nashville hot) and it does come with celery and blue cheese or ranch. The wings are relatively large and bigger compared to places like wing stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. We personally didn't love the flavors we got as we weren't expecting the Nashville hot to be a dry rub. The bang bang was a good mix of sweet and creamy but we're not sure we would get it again. Other than the flavors, we would say the wings were cooked well. They were crispy but still moist. One thing to not miss out on are the boardwalk fries. We unexpectedly really enjoyed them. We're not typically thick cut fries people but these were done just right. They were super crisp but still nice and soft! Lastly, the burger was a UNIT. Super big, moist, and the combination of all the fresh vegetable toppings with their special sauce was delicious. The homemade chips were the perfect addition. Nice and crispy although the seasoning was a little sporadic. Highly recommend checking out this place for some casual American food that's affordable.

They have a little outside seating and all the way in the back is a lounge area. They are open from 12pm to 2am. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening. FYI they do have their own parking. It wasn't that packed around that time. Their food menu is nice. So we order for drinks a Honey comb and a The Uprising as well as the Pink Dragon . The uprising is pretty much a tequila sunrise lol the only difference is they added whipped cream on top.For appetizers we order the sweet and hot wings with the bone(they have a boneless option as well). As well as the bacalaitos. For the entrees we order the surf and turf (lobster tail )mofongo with garlic sauce ugh just amazing. The other entree was white rice beans and toastones with churrasco . If you like hookah they do serve that as well let me not forget for all my sushi lovers they do have a sushi station and when I say the chef makes the sushi look so pretty you get to see it made right in front of you . The only downfall I would bring up is that gratuity is all ready included and sheeesh it's 18%. Other than that I would go again to see how the vibe is for the lounge at a later time . Oh and to get some more food because that mofongo was delicious.
