First time coming here and I was not disappointed. I came in looking to have my watch battery replaced. I was told it would be 30 - 45 minutes while I waited. In less than 15 minutes it was done! Working like a charm. Jonathan (I think that's his name) was super friendly and very efficient. He completed another walk-in ahead of me as well as mine in record time. I love the vibe of where this shop is located and the price for a walk-in (no appointment and no drop off extended turn around time). If you need watch repairs or batteries definitely come to this spot. It's much cheaper and quicker. We had several watch batteries to be replaced of varying brands. Cheap novelty, Seiko solar, and Movado. I was so surprised to find this option inside of Allen Eagle Postal. They communicate well through the whole process, and so affordable. All items are secured in a safe, and integrity is amazing. They had to order a part to complete our solar repair, and it was done within a week. They even polished our Movado pieces, and they look as good as new. I took a couple of watches here during one summer. The first was a dive watch that had fallen and the 12 o'clock marker came loose and was bouncing around inside the face of the watch. I had given up on getting it fixed until I found out about Jack's. Came back good as new after a quick repair for a great price! Then I took another watch that a lot of other shops had looked at and no one could fix to Jack and it came back in great shape. A few months later it developed a separate problem where the crown was coming loose and eventually fell off and got lost. I sent it to Jack's from out of state and even though it was a separate problem, the service was covered under the warranty from the last job. I have used the services of Jack's Watch Repair in Allen for about 3yrs.. I have a fairly expensive watch that can require extra time to get parts, and I think takes a highly qualified watch repairman to do a professional repair, and the watch works great after the repair. Also, I have a Seth Thomas pendulum wall clock ( old ) which has a calendar & date mechanism. A clock repairman that specialized in repairs of that type clock was unable to repair and adjust the calendar & date mechanism to work. Jack's Watch Repair in Allen repaired the clock, and now it works very good. Jack's has provided professional gold soldering repairs for me. They even clean and polish up everything before it leaves the shop so it's nice when you get it back. I have some good watches in my collection, Raymond Weil and Omega like the 18k Omega Sea Master that requires waterproofing. Rather than go to a large storefront chain, in 2012 I decided to find a small technician with a home office and shop to get quality work at more competitive prices; AND I FOUND IT! They have done a number of things for me: Bands, Clasps, Batteries, Adjustments and Repairs, New Movements, New Crown Assemblies, Bezel Stone Replacements, Polishing, Restoration, General Consulting and a lot of different things. I even call before I ever make a purchase for myself or my Wife elsewhere although they can get you watches you may like. I am provided excellent advice and it clear I get a top-notch level of expertise. They also provide a comprehensive Guaranty-Warranty on any piece they touch and 8 years later, I would not go anywhere else. I am also given excellent pricing, while I pay $12 for a battery and might be able to find one for $10, I still would not let anybody else touch my watches. It may need a special grommet, waterproofing or otherwise and I know beyond a doubt I can rely upon the services I get at Jack's. He'd probably give me the $2 but truth be told, I'd never ask because I find comfort in knowing my quality time pieces are in good hands.
