    Empanadas from Mexology
    Annie F.

This is easily one of the fanciest food halls I've ever visited! It was down the street from the hotel I was staying at so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did because it has a beautiful interior and plenty of good options. There are less than 10 spots in it but there's definitely something for everyone from pizza to Mexican to sushi. My boyfriend opted for some empanadas from Mexology - a Mexican eatery - and I ordered a roll from Sushi Nikko, which is located upstairs. Both the sushi and empanadas were delicious! A great option if you're in the area and with a group with diverse tastes!

Hello I have a bad experience with one of the workers I think his name is Jackson or Mack? He called me a homophobic term and didn't give me what I ordered. the managers didn't do nothing about this. i will never come here again and I don't recommend anyone else to establish here.

Casual, convenient food hall with a nice ambiance. Not the biggest food hall I've seen, so there are less than 10 restaurant options, but still good. You can also order from any restaurant from any table via QR code -- they'll then bring your order to your table. Clean BRs downstairs.

I visited Jacx&Co on a Friday night and found the space ideal for getting a group together - lots of appealing eateries, and the ability for each person to order individually from the table and get what they want - from fried chicken to Mediterranean bowls to burgers to sushi. I opted for the fried chicken and was not dissatisfied with my Nashville sandwich - a good subtle but hot spice, well breaded breast with solid pickles. I also ordered one of the cocktails (a sazerac) and it was served neat although you could customize that. Not the best sazerac I have ever had but good. You can order from the counters but my advice is to go through the app - it works much smoother.

This place has reminds me of a nice food court. A variety of choices and a very welcoming ambiance. Plenty of seating and a unique vibe. I came here for lunch and it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be but it seems like a nice place to check out during dinner.

This is a nice food court with good ambiance with a variety of food options, but it is pretty pricey and the food was just decent. You can order from each of the counters or through the app, whichever you prefer. It's a good places to meet up with friends for a casual meet up with good vibes!

I love a good food hall and to have one so close to home here in Queens makes it so much better to love. There's a huge bar that opened recently on the main floor and I'm in love! I actually have plans to go back next week to catch up with some friends. It's a great spot to get drinks w/ friends, grab dinner, or get a few different snacks to go. Besides recommending you getting the Queens Gold cocktail at the bar I really enjoyed the following food options from the different vendors: - Beebes - get the white pizza , it's spicy , it's cheesy, it's delish - Ghaya - this place shines in the morning and has INCREDIBLE croissants! The pistachio one is my favorite. - Biao Sugar - new to the food hall , get the brown sugar boba - Temakase - also new to this food hall, you gotta try the hand rolled sushi and the crispy rice here is on point. - Mexology - just go here for the street corn! Do not leave this place w/o trying it - Lotus + Clever - the pork belly here is divine (if you are into park belly)

We got: MÉXology: Prickly pear rose lemonade Market Vegetable Empanada Beef Barbacoa Empanada Sour Cream Paper Plate: Crinkle Cut Fries Extra Sauce BobWhite Counter: Coleslaw Taïm (my personal favorite): Falafel+Tahini Lotus + Cleaver: Cucumber Sesame Salad Sushi Nikko: Tuna Cucumber Roll Spicy Mayo

This is an airy, trendy food court that I really enjoyed. I had taim, which is Mediterranean food (reviewed separately), but this spot also has a stylish bar with elevated cocktails. Additionally, this spot boasts Lotus and Cleaver (Japanese bbq), Jia (dim sum), Ghaya (James Beard awarded pastries), Mexology (tacos, Mexican), and Beebe's (pizza). So if you're with a group, this might be a good idea because there is something for most palates. The dining space is stylish and has multiple seating arrangements to accommodate many types of parties. Tables for two, tables for six or more, half booth/half tables, bar seating. All open for all. I would try all of these places and liked hanging out in the common area.

A comfortable food court with wide variety of choices from Thai to Pizza and a bar. We opted for Le Thai, a Thai restaurant, and were not disappointed. The cashier was so friendly and makes great recommendation. The food was delicious and filling. A good stop for hearty meal!

It's very Clean food court. great vibes. you'd feel like you're in the Hotel lobby. Bathroom is in the basement. (There's No sign unless you ask) couch seats or table seats are available. Infront of the Subway stations / bus is available. Super convenient for the rainy or snowing day during the Winter time. From Manhattan blooming deals, it's going to be Only 1stop by Bus. it's worth to come here!

One of the nicest looking upscale food courts around. Super high ceilings and modern interior decor. Lots of beautifully designed seating. Prices are a bit on the high side. An interesting place to check out if you have never been. Nine eateries to choose from: Mexican, vegetarian, rice bowls, pizza, Italian, pastries, Crif hot dogs and sushi (plus omakase). Mexology: chef Ivy Stark's casual Mexican Taim: popular falafel chain Lotus and Cleaver: casual Chinese from Wayla and Kimika Beebe: thin-crust pizzeria Fieldtrip: chef JJ Johnson's acclaimed rice bowls Ghaya: Tunisian cafe from James Beard award pastry chef Ghaya Oliveira Kissaki: sushi/ omakase Crif Dogs: creative hot dogs, burgers, tater tots Al Volo: serves paninis, arancini, and more Your temperature is checked upon entering the door. Indoor seating for 215 people. No outdoor seating. A long beautiful looking bar, off to the right, serves craft beers and curated wines. Caution: Be careful of the few steps all around the dining area. Tried out Kissaki sushi. Located on the 2nd floor. Stairs are at the back of the food court. Their sushi was awesome!

I thought it was just one a one off thing, but it turns out their burger is insanely salty too. It seems like they pre-salt their burger patties since the texture is kind of gummy? The alternative is to salt the patties during cooking to retain the structure and feel of a beef patty. The overall meal was a disappointment. I'll have to try it again the future. Maybe theres a different cook in the back. For the value of $18, it's not bad, but not great on the tastebuds.

The bartenders must have just been tired from their previous shift that one Thursday. They were really great on a Saturday. The happy hour is pretty nice $5 for shot and $10 for a marg. ::bathroom alert::: Very inconvenient when you're at the bar. It's like a maze getting down there. The bathroom is clear tho, I'll give them that. They were playing live music for like 90 minutes. There was literally no one at this bar on a Thursday night, so much for thirsty Thursday. Theres a section off to the left that has a pool table and connect four. On a Saturday night they are playing Spanish music, most people know Spanish music and drinking is super fun!! I can totally see why this place doesn't have a lot of pictures. I don't see how a lot of people wouldn't it is cozy. At the end of the day this places prices are reasonable for this area. Right off the bat, I was impressed by the beautiful environment with some unique Thai-themed decor. The space is well suited for all occasions ranging from a casual lunch to a nicer dinner. The atmosphere was lively yet still comfortable for conversation. The staff were also friendly / helpful and the service speed was decent. Now as for the food, we started off with the Duck Rolls ($15). The dish came with 4 rolls, which were very tasty. I especially liked the wood ear mushrooms inside and the sauce added some nice sweetness to the flavor profile. However, the main course of Koong Karee ($27) was disappointing. It was a shrimp curry and while the initial bite was pretty good, the more I ate of it, the more I realized the sauce was just way too salty. It was also very onion-forward. Even when mixed with white rice, it was hard to bear a whole dish of that saltiness. It's very possible this was just a rare disappointing dish, but it is the one that I have to consider for this review. So overall, despite that disappointing dish, the tasty duck rolls, beautiful environment, and good service are still just enough to squeeze Soothr LIC into the low 4 star category.
