This food hall is so beautiful and big with plenty of seatings shared amongst the vendors inside. You can choose amongst any of the vendors to order from and then sit and eat. I usually find seats and it's not too crowded. The vendors have changed a few times, but they have new ones too. A recently added one, which was an added stall is Ziyan Chicken. It's known for its braised cold meats and appetizers. They have meal sets with rice and soda or items by the pound per serving. This is a great Sichuan food option at the food hall. Mostly spicy food. The other vendor I go to is Soft Swerve ice cream and frozen yogurt. I like their lychee flavored ice cream. The vanilla frozen yogurt is pretty good too. You can ask to taste the flavors before choosing one. A great sweet treat, especially when it's so hot out. This is a good place to go for different food options. It's right by subways and busses. After lunch a couple weekends ago, my friends and I wanted to find a spot to chill for a couple hours and Jacx & Co was nearby and the perfect spot. It's a clean and spacious food hall in LIC, and we were able to find seating pretty easily. There are quite a few vendors here, ranging from a bar in the middle of the food hall to omakase on the second floor and an ice cream spot tucked in the corner. Overall, this was a good spot to hang out at and we enjoyed chatting over ice cream. I would recommend stopping by and trying some of their several food options. read more

This is easily one of the fanciest food halls I've ever visited! It was down the street from the hotel I was staying at so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did because it has a beautiful interior and plenty of good options. There are less than 10 spots in it but there's definitely something for everyone from pizza to Mexican to sushi. I opted for the fried chicken and was not dissatisfied with my Nashville sandwich - a good subtle but hot spice, well breaded breast with solid pickles. I also ordered one of the cocktails (a sazerac) and it was served neat although you could customize that. Not the best sazerac I have ever had but good. Ample seating areas, which probably makes this a hopping area for lunch and dinner. There's a bar off to the right when facing the entrance from the outside. I'm not sure if there is service where they will bring you the food. The vendor I went to, I waited for the food and walked with a tray to my group's table. The chairs are somewhat comfy. It's not a humble food court, there are staff available helping and serving. I visited here a few times. Once when it was still new and recently. The place is huge and has many seating. I especially appreciate how clean it is and well maintained. My experience here compared to the first time was not too far different as it has stayed well maintained and the food options are a mix of cuisines. The next step in making LIC a self-contained bubble for the well heeled is a luxury food hall, replete with hot and new eateries, including an omakase counter. It's one of the nicest food halls I've been to, and it's not just the omakase counter that elevates the place-- though indoor dining is banned for now, you can appreciate the high ceilings, leather back chairs, and lush greenery around the space that make it a gorgeous building unto itself. The vendors are also excellently curated, with celebrated LIC pizzeria Beebe's, Harlem's rice-centric eatery Fieldtrip, and Kimika's fast casual concept Lotus & Cleaver taking center stage and whose reputations are strong enough to draw people who live outside of Queens to pay a visit. If you're like me and don't find yourself in LIC often enough to try all the vendors over the course of multiple visits, I'd advise bringing a friend or two and splitting a bunch of orders from the restaurants that stand out to you. A pie from Beebe's is a great bet, as is a rice bowl from Fieldtrip or from Lotus & Cleaver. Opening an indoor food court during a pandemic is a risky bet, but I can honestly say it's one of the best food courts in NYC. Sure, it's in Jando's borough of Queens, but barely. Lots of choices for everyone - some grain/rice bowls, pizza, Mexican/tacos, some vegetarian fare, and omakase sushi upstairs. My friend and I went pretty HAM. Between the two of us, we got a char siu bowl from Lotus + Cleaver, skirt steak tacos from Mexology, a pepperoni/sausage/hot honey pizza from Beebe's, and an omakase set from Kissaki. Of course there was no indoor dining allowed (some staff were seated at the bar though), so we had to go elsewhere. Might I suggest Iconyc Brewing? A short drive away and they have heatlamps! All in all, the space at Jacx & Co is beautiful, and I hope they find their footing. Seems like they're aiming for the lunch crowd, which is tough right now. Upon walking in the front door, someone is standing there to take your temperature and of course right now because of the indoor dining restrictions in NYC, you can not eat inside, everything is to go. The food hall has a bunch of great options, Sushi, Pizza, Italian, etc. I decided to order at Mexology. I ordered the Vegan Chorizo Quesadilla which was $19. A little pricey in my opinion, however IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! They definitely did not mis a beat when it came to flavor!!!
