First time I let it slide, didn't order from them for over a month, but the second time it happened I called and cancelled the order. The order never arrived but I still got charged for the food that I never even saw. Terrible business. I hope the 20 bux you kept is worth losing a customer + this horrible review. I ordered from here last night and I have been sick ever since. I was craving sushi badly and I thought why not try a place on fed hill can not go wrong. But I was definitely wrong. I spent 60 dollars on food to have awful stomach pains and cramping and I dont want to mention what else. I wish I would've read the reviews first. I always enjoy anything I order here. The general tso's tofu is one of my regular orders, it's some of the best in the area. I recently just tried heir sushi for the first time and I really enjoyed it! I got their valentine roll and it was so yummy. My boyfriend tried the special vegetable roll and he liked his too, although I'm not a huge seaweed fan and found it a little heavy on the seaweed. The crab rangoons are always good too. Clean, cute place for Chinese food right on federal Hill in providence. We ordered some "authentic" Chinese dishes and they were good, it was flavorful but I wouldn't say it's authentic. We ordered the Szechuan crispy fried beef with string beans and the batter was a little undercooked. The stir fry diced chicken was ok. Soup came out semi-warm. Some of it is typical American-Chinese food - the shrimp with eggplant is great, the dumplings are okay but the dough is a little thick and flavorless for my taste, the lo mein is fine, a little on the saltier side. It looks like they have some more "authentic dishes" as well (I tried the twice-cooked pork and the string beans and both were good), which definitely taste better but nothing mind-blowing. Will never order again. Took 15 minutes to deliver and although that was great, would rather wait an hour for decent food. Do not advise ordering. Other reviews will support this claim. Please reevaluate the content of your food or id advise closing your doors. Sorry. My partner and I go here fairly frequently as we live close by. The prices are fair and the amount of food you get is quite substantial. I always have leftovers to take to work for lunch the next day. I've never had anything bad served to me and neither has my partner. In fact we highly recommend the Chinese Style Dry String bean and meat of your choice, Singapore Rice Noodles, Moo Shu and meat of your choice, and any of the dumplings or steam buns. Also, lets not forget that they do boba teas, the traditional milk tea is my favorite. Finally, the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. We've never once had a bad experience and we've been going since the restaurant opened. Very good Chinese food. They have a great variety. Highly recommend! Customer service is lacking in the department, but it's not a problem. (I called because they forgot part of my order, out me in hold for about 8 mins and said they would call back. When they didn't call back for 30mins, I called and they said they would contact the driver and he would drop off. Not a huge issue because I got my food, but I didn't like that I had to call for an update when they said they would.) I usually order/have ordered before: - Salt pepper crispy wings (5 stars, super crunchy and so delicious for just being salt, pepper, onion, and jalapeño) - Sticky chicken wings (5 stars, super crunchy and has a great flavor. It does get messy because of the sauce and the box it comes in is usually a mess. So beware of leaky sauce, they're usually good about wrapping it in plastic) - Crystal Shrimp Dumplings/Har How (5 stars, don't really know how you can go wrong with this. Super delicious and steamed perfectly. Don't wait too long to eat it, eitherwise it'll get hard) - Roast Pork Buns/Bao (5 stars, I lived off these growing up and I'm so glad I found a restaurant that sells theses) - Sesame Balls (5 stars, like the bao buns, I lived off these and I'm so glad Jade tree has these. The only thing is that it's super oily, so be careful if you touch anything) - Pork fried rice (5 stars, I don't eat this but my SO does. And he loves it) - Tuna/Spicy Tuna Roll (3 stars, doesn't taste the best and probably would not order again. I would just stick to the other food) - Shrimp Tempura Roll (3 stars, since we order delivery the roll usually comes soggy. The shrimp tempura is no longer crunchy.) - Salt Pepper Crispy Shrimp with Head (4 stars, I don't see this on the menu and I'm not sure if I just can't find it. But whenever I used to go to dim sum, my family would order crispy shrimp. This isn't a bad substitute, but I wish they would batter the shrimp a bit more and toss it with onions and jalapenos like the chicken wings. The past couple times they have gotten my order wrong and I just go with it. Tonight, I really wanted Thai Style Wings so I gave it a go. They messed up my order, again. They gave me sticky wings instead of Thai style wings (which are very very different) This time I had to call because it gets irritating when you're order isn't right. Well, they insisted that I was wrong and tried to argue that they gave me the right order even after I explained that I've order both on separate occasions. They told me that the kitchen was closed and all they could do for me was give me a $3 credit. Didn't apologize, and made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about/was lying.
